Checkin was quite quick. There are not many restaurants close to hotel but they serve excellent food. Breakfast was good.

Hotel storico a due passi dal mare, in posizione tranquilla. La camera era grande con un bagno nuovissimo e appena rifatto, di dimensioni molto maggiori alla media. L'hotel ha un ottimo ristorante, molto frequentato, ma dove viene sempre riservato un tavolo a chi alloggia per la notte. È presente anche un caratteristico pub al piano terra aperto a tutti, dove bere una buona birra o un whisky dopo cena.

The staff we met were lovely and we enjoyed being by the sea.

Room 15, ground floor. Shower cubicle small, old, low pressure. Electric switch in ceiling over shower a worry. Bed was a double and duvet likewise, difficult to cover two people. Windows, 2, both enabling people to see into the room easily. No privacy unless curtains drawn. Premises locked at night, no staff on site. Need to phone certain number so they could attend 15-20 mins estimate. Booked for 2 nights but felt we didn't want to stay so we moved to hotel 5 miles away so we lost second night fee of £124. Management noted our comments but no contact to date.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We had a pleasant evening meal in the restaurant, which although it was busy was very well organised, and the service was very good. The location is good for visiting places along the coast, as well as visiting the city.

The Cove Bay is beautifully located by the sea, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful views. Breakfast is freshly prepared with great care and attention, and you can really tell that a lot of love goes into it. The staff have that wonderfully direct and no-nonsense Scottish manner – firm at times, but always friendly, warm and likeable. It definitely added to the charm of our stay.

Tranquillo rifugio nei pressi di Aberdeen in dimora storica, ben arredato e confortevole. Ha un gran salone con vista mare e la mattina la colazione è spettacolare quando il sole attraversa le ampie vetrate. Colazione abbondante e ben servita, con ampia scelta. Lo staff è accogliente e premuroso. Nello stesso salone la sera è possibile cenare, ma avendo soggiornato una sola notte non lo abbiamo provato.

Skvělá kuchyně, fajn pokoj.

Pokoj sice měl výhled na moře, ale hned vedle oken byly výdechy vzduchotechniky z kuchyně, takže se nedalo větrat.

Doručak je bio vrlo dobar. Osoblje uslužno. Parking za vozilo. Restoran u sklopu objekta - mogućnost večere.

Dvije jedinice koje smo dobili bile manje od očekivanog, a izgled kupaonice je razočarao.

Room could hear the kitchen extractor fans. Until kitchen closed. But would not put off staying tho. Room painted all in one colour, (bit bland) which could of been made more of a interesting decor. But great size.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung, aber ein zweites Mal würden wir das Hotel nicht buchen.

The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good. The room was very clean as was everywhere else. Lovely big car park too.

I booked a stay at the Cove Bay Hotel last minute during my travels. I loved the location and overall feel of the hotel. It was clean and quiet - the perfect place for some respite after being in the city. Staff were extremely friendly and the food from the restaurant was amazing! I hope I will be able to return soon.

Initially had problems finding the room, and also how to access the room at night when reception was closed. Breakfast - little choice if you don't eat a cooked breakfast.

Nous y sommes restées qu'une nuit au mois de mai mais l'accueil était très bien. La chambre était spacieuse avec une belle vue sur mer. Le petit dej est copieux et très bon.

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Food was good. Parking available on site. The location was perfect for our needs.

Room (cabin) 3, whilst comfortable, was above the bar and was very noisy on the Friday night and quite noisy on the Saturday night. Fresh fruit was in short supply at breakfast on the Monday (due to a busy weekend).

Breakfast was fine if a little on the small size.

The shower was O.K. The water was hot.

Man muss ein Zeitfenster für das Frühstück festlegen, was aufgrund der frisch zubereiteten Speisen (wie Eier und Toast) aber auch ok ist. Der Service war etwas hektisch, aber freundlich.

purtroppo la struttura è storica quindi accesso con scale ripide, no ascensore, camere non molto ben insonorizzate, pavimento leggermente in pendenza.

Albergo in stile marinaro con vista sul mare. Staff super cordiale e camere grandi Abbiamo mangiato nell’albergo sia a cena che a colazione e ne vale veramente la pena cibo ottimo porzioni abbondanti e ottimo prezzi

Tutto molto carino. Camera ampia e molto pulita. Bagno grande. Colazione abbondante, con ricca scelta. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante e ci è piaciuto molto.

Abbiamo avuto problemi con l'acqua calda.

Fenêtres impossibles à ouvrir en battant, bloquées l’une par une tringle à rideaux et l’autre par la télévision . Et le lavabo de la sdb était fissuré. Petit déjeuner minimaliste au niveau du buffet.

Rummet var stort med fönster åt tre håll. Dubbelsängen var smal (140 cm) men bekväm.

Lite klurigt att hitta till rummet. Vi bodde i rum 6. Det var som att gå i en labyrint. Kämpigt med bagaget i de smala trapporna. Fast detta var egentligen inget problem utan kanske mer av charmig karraktär.

Beautiful views and excellent accommodation, great food. the staff are exceptional and do everything they can so you can enjoy the stay.

The breakfast, the room was fantastic, the location is great, although renting a car is advisable, getting around by bus takes time. Staff is friendly and fantastic, we were able to get along really well.

The shower pressure if anything was really low in our room, nothing what we could not live without, but it is something which could get improved.

La comodidad de la cama, la habitación acogedora, el desayuno muy completo y de calidad. Bien situado y acogedor. Con parking gratis.

El baño era pequeño, el acceso a la habitación con escalera. Tener que pasar a través del comedor para hacer el check in.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Zimmer sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr lecker. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir haben hier einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt, auf unserer Reise durch Schottland. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Abends haben wir sehr gut im Hotelrestaurant gegessen. Das Frühstück wurde größtenteils frisch zubereitet.

Schöne Unterkunft mit einem sehr guten Restaurant ! Gute Ausgangslage für Aberdeen oder Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe

This hotel was so nice. We had a regular room but it was quite large. The bathroom was nice. The restaurant was so good!! We were able to walk down to the North Sea and we spotted some dolphins! We highly recommend this hotel.

Mattress was a bit hard

Well kept hotel close to Aberdeen located in spectacular coastal area that is very easy to be a base for seeing area attractions - good highway connections. The hotel restaurant is deservedly busy because the food is good. Best to book a table especially at weekends. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Who on Earth has a 99 channel tv in a UK hotel room without BBC1? So had to go elsewhere to see the FA Cup final.

Breakfast was good.

Erg leuk pand om in te verblijven. Personeel was netjes en behulpzaam. Eten diner en ontbijt was goed. Kamer rustig gelegen aan de voorkant. Leuk en mooi uitzicht vanaf het restaurant op zee. Ons vervoermiddel stond mooi veilig achter het pand.

Door de gordijnen niet heel erg donker, maar lekker geslapen. De ventilator van de badkamer maakt veel lawaai. Het lijkt of er een vrachtwagen voor het raam stationair staat te draaien met de motor. De douches gaf lekker warm water, maar geen constante stroom. Gaf een soort van pulserend effect. Net alsof er niet voldoende waterdruk was. Verder overigens geen schommeling in temperatuur. Dus niet koud-warm, maar hard-zacht.

Hot water takes a little while to come through due to older system of building.

Hotel heeft pub en restaurant in 1 gebouw, kijkt mooi uit over zee, ge-moderniseerde badkamer. Ontbijt was redelijk.

2 persoons bed was te smal en tekort, je moet met je koffers veel smalle trapopgangen op tillen om je kamer te bereiken. Kraan in de wasbak van de badkamer geeft weinig krachtige waterstraal en wordt slecht warm.

I loved the room as it was a room with a sea view, so it was just nice to sit at the window window and look out of it, the washroom was lovely and clean, all of the room was clean though and the hotel and all of the areas. I loved how there was direct bus to aberdeen city centre just in the bay area 5 minute walk from the hotel... the staff were super polite and very attentive and did a very good job at staying on top of room service. Breakfast was lovely. Dinner was lovely. The staff are very clear that they do go home at a certain time so leave us with a key to leave the premises if needs be.

No Bath. The drawers are too big next to the bed so they are just there as you turn over so unfortunately can bang your head on the drawers.

Good location with own parking lot if you want to avoid staying in towns with a rented car as we did (traffic, parking, etc.). They have a lovely in-house restaurant with good choice of meals. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was great with variety of fruits, cereals and cooked food.

Bed was short and narrow (140X190) for two persons bedroom and bedroom size is rather small. Also you can hear everything from the hallway and room next door.

Sehr schöne Lage und ganz nahe ist der Küstenpfad mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig.

Loin du centre ville d'Aberdeen si on n'est pas véhiculé. L'accessibilité est compliquée pour les personnes à mobilité réduite mais de façon générale ce n'est pas un point fort du pays. Ca serait utile de préciser cela sur l'annonce de l'établissement afin que les voyageurs puissent réserver en connaissance de cause.

Room was lovely and bright with comfy bed and large, soft towels after showering. Food was really tasty with plenty choices at breakfast and dinner. Excellent location being close to the coastal walk.

Nice quiet place friendly food was good

Comfortable clean rooms with view of o Sea right from the room, and the North Sea beach was accessible via a path from the hotel. Bonus: we were there for Easter weekend 2026 storm Dave and got to experience the buffeting winds and high waves of a North Sea storm.

Beautiful location, I spent a couple of hours just sitting on a bench enjoying the sun near the small harbour such a beautiful view and the hotel is very clean and was comfortable. Jamie who was there when I arrived was very welcoming and a friendly and professional staff member 😊 The food in the evening was amazing, tasted delicious and was well presented, full points to the 🧑‍🍳

I arrived before 4pm and had a feeling I wouldn’t be able to check in but was happy to wait, Jamie welcomed me and said my earl arrival was not a problem however, another staff member Angela came over and said the rooms were not ready and if I wanted to check in early it would cost an additional £20, I was happy to wait however, I did not like the fact that in one breath she was saying the room wasn’t ready and in the next saying o could check in early for £20? Shame really as this tainted my experience from the start but after I mentioned this miraculously my room became available and Angela was very professional from that point forward.

Clean, spacious and overall great value for money!

Great selection of food on the menu for both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly which made my stay very comfortable.
