The lady on reception was lovely. She was professional, polite and even helped us find a chemist. Unfortunately I didn't get her name (she had ginger hair and am sure she was wearing glasses) The hotel was lovely, clean, modern and in a excellent location for us visiting family.

A young lady who was serving in the bar late evening was very abrupt, however, another young lady who was also serving in the bar area was very nice. I think she heard the lady being abrupt and came over to us and was very professional and polite, again I didn't get their names but the professional young lady was a foreign

Love this hotel, location is ideal, comfortable and clean rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for.

Would like if there was a spare pillow available in the room. More tea bags and milk.

Paying £26 for parking! I got an email to upgrade to superior room for £15, it did not say anywhere this was per night (staying 2 nights) until I had to pay for it at the reception. The “superior” was disappointing , tv didn’t work and the lighting was terrible - it was so dark!

The staff were lovely, very accommodating. My friend was going to be staying on a different floor from me and my room wasn't quite ready for check in (not a big deal) but they actually managed to find me a room that was ready and on the same floor as my friend

Not a big thing but when we came down in the morning for breakfast, nearly half the tables were booked for a like 1 group of people that hadn't been down yet, also we were down for 40minutes and they still never showed up. But unfortunately any available tables were dirty from previous people. This is not the waitresses fault though, as soon as we pointed it out they cleared them but there was only 2 of them working... 2 people running food out, clearing tables, greeting people and dealing with enquiries seemed a bit much.

Only slight issue was the door allowing access to the lift to the hotel from the multi-storey car park is awaiting fixing so it was not possible to use the lift to access the hotel.

The breakfast was very busy. There are a few gluten free breakfast options (such as granola). However, you need to ask for gf bread. Because they were so busy they forgot it both mornings and did not bring it the second morning

Great hotel in central Aberdeen - does what it says on the tin. Clean and smart, with friendly and helpful staff (who even let me do some much-needed printing for a meeting).

Some of the rooms overlook quite a noisy street with a Wetherspoons and a nightclub - on a Friday and Saturday night this is a little bit noisy. Not the hotel's fault at all, but I'd have loved the option to choose a quieter room (even if it had cost a little more).

Everything was nice and clean and the staff at the reception desk were lovely.

There was no car park, the twin rooms were very tight and claustrophobic and the lighting was dreadful.

It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Water pressure in the shower was weak. Food was good.

The hotel is not somewhere for a good nights sleep. Loud banging doors at all hours and paper thing walls. I wont be back!

Bed really uncomfortable and creaky and only 1 pillow supplied per person and when I mentioned this to the receptionist I was told I could’ve asked for have requested more which I think is really poor I have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never seen a hotel room with 1 pillow PP very poor service

We were allocated the accessible room. Unfortunately this week have spend a lot of time in hospital and felt like still there! They said that was only room available. Was OK just bed a bit smaller than double, but did feel like a hospital bathroom.

Fantastic location in the heart of the city, facilities in the hotel are great with big airy rooms, a request for additional pillows was no trouble and the breakfast was great, extended check out and breakfast times make such a difference!

the room had a few marks from cases i presume on the walls, and the tele didnt seem to be working but i blame that on the use not the tele.

Paid for a superior room with panoramic views, thats not what we got! Tired furniture, only 2 pillows, mouldy shower, poor quality toilet tissue, slow response from staff both at bar and for room service. Appauling breakfast. We have used this hotel for years but wont be back.

The shower had mould which could easily have been addressed and the cleaning of my room was unsatisfactory. The two cups I had used were not washed

Very central, easy to get to the train station and just around the corner from main road to all pubs and restaurants. Aircon was a life saver and I miss it. Staff at reception and housekeeping were very very nice and helpful.

The breakfast was not one of the best I had at a hotel, but not one of the worst either; if you need to leave early etc I would say go for it, otherwise I would go to one of the local cafes. I wanted a double bed but instead I got two single beds pushed together, which did not make it easy to sleep and was quite uncomfortable. But rather than breakfast and bed everything else was quite good.

The cleaner was in our room on check out day…I’m sure they could have waited until we had checked out. Luckily we just had to pick up our bag and go. Parking too expensive so had to park 10 minutes away.

Happy with location.10 mins approx from station.There was a good selection of bars and restaurants near the hotel.Enjoyed the breakfast and liked the hotel . Provision of water and coffee in room much appreciated.The reception staff absolutely brilliant.

For two people I felt stowage for clothes etc a tad tight and some stuff I left in my bags. Nice to have fresh towels but would have settled for one towel to reduce housekeeping costs and environmental impacts.

Only one pillow and no option / spare one. And light shining on my face in the morning as the curtains leave a wide gap at the end which is positioned diagonally and therefore was facing my head & face.

We didn't like not being offered a free breakfast. Someone else we booked with did. Because we are pensioners we didn't understand the procedures.

The location was excellent- Easy access to shops, bus stops ,restaurants. Property was clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Stayed several times. On this occasion, the receptionist very kindly booked me into my lovely Superior Room early, as I had a function to attend at 3pm.

Not a pleasant experience at all Staff quality levels have tanked and they just are not up to the job. Having to ask 3 times for two extra pillows is unacceptable service and in todays market just not good enough. The staff preach a rehearsed script about customer service but don't actually care and worse still neither do the management. Overall experience was an OK room with ok facilities absolutely spoiled by incompetent uncaring staff and management. There is plenty of choice in Aberdeen so won't be coming back here

Området kändes lugnt, vår övernattning var visserligen söndag-måndag. Bra frukost, trevlig personal, sköna sängar. Vårt sällskap fick twin beds som vi ville. Och jag kunde få ett paket levererat hit, inga problem.

Inte hotellets fel men kan vara bra att lägga till nånstans: Jag tipsar om vägen dit från busstationen: Gå via Union Street! Det ser ut som en omväg men är bättre. ”Fågelvägen” är ett virrvarr av höjdskillnader och trappor.

It’s a nice hotel, and the staff are nice.

The location, for us, was perfect as we were attending a family wedding along the road at Union Kirk. The location was also horrible because of the noise and disruption we suffered on the Saturday night - outside can be excused due to location, but some of these people were also staying at the hotel and a family with three rooms should not be placed on the same floors as revellers. In two of my three rooms, the air condition was not working which made getting ready for a wedding quite uncomfortable on a muggy day. You only get one pillow for each bed or place in a bed. But it’s a terrible pillow resulting in a less than acceptable sleep.

Loud music until 3 am from nearby clubs, then seagulls squawking until 7am both nights. Staff were never at reception to the point I had to go to the door behind reception to get someone and never received as much as a smile yet, it was as if we were inconveniencing her.

Quite expensive for what you get. Bed was firm but was comfortable. Bed was a bit dated. Has to ask for extra pillows as you only get two. Air play on tv didn’t work. Bathroom needs a refresh, as mould on celling. Water bottles weren’t refreshed on my second day :(

Mattress was soft in the centre. Woke with a sore back at 2am. Slept sideways at the top of the bed the rest of the stay. If I'd been there for longer I'd have asked for a firmer mattress. Not enough tea/sugar for two nights. Some people like a few cups. Get more in the travelodge. Had to keep going down to reception as my door card didn't work

No drawer storage at all for 5 nights had to leave everything on floor. Also Fri and Sat Eve no food after 8-30 so on arrival after 10 hour drive at that time had to get takeaway. Also the room key did not work on 3 days out of 5 so each time had to trail down from floor 5 to reception and equally it would not let you back in from the car park.

Roomy and brilliant city views. Learned some Aberdeen history.
