La localización es muy buena. El desayuno es correcto. Ya habíamos Venido por practicidad y hemos repetido

El aire acondicionado hace mucho ruido y la potencia mínima sigue siendo muy fuerte. Así que por la noche no te deja dormir. Por otro lado estábamos ubicados en una 3 planta sin ascensor en el punto más lejano lo que hizo que fuera un tanto incómodo.

Amazing place to stay, only the road separates the hotel from the beach.(road is not busy) sit in the pool and the view of the mountain is truly breathtaking, sit out the front for food and/or drinks and people watch. Other food places and shopping close by. Would definitely stay again.

Not a lot of room for parking if you are self driving, but they made it work for us. Beds very comfy along with pillows, aircon great, decor a little older but nice and clean.

Un paradis sur terre. Les villas sont idéalement placées entre piscine et mer, non loin de la rue très animée mais cette partie de rue est beaucoup plus calme. Bon compromis pour les familles. Les villas sont immenses et les salles de bain très spacieuses.

La climatisation était un peu bruyante. À l'accueil on m’a dit que l'établissement était complet alors qu'il restait des places sur internet. J’ai donc réservé via un tour opérateur (Booking.com) de mon téléphone.

Everything. It exceeded expectations. The staff were excellent, breakfast excellent and location was perfect. I could not fault a single thing. We will definitely be coming back.

Großzügige Räume ok wir hatten ein Upgrade erhalten und letztendlich 2 Räume bekommen. Sehr schön geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

מלון יפה נמצא על החוף וקרוב למרכז. בריכה יפה ומים קרים לרחצה כך שנהנו מאוד מהבריכה. אפשר להזמין טיולים מהלובי שבמלון. ארוחת ערב במסעדה של המלון היתה הכי טובה לנו בקראבי.

לא אהבנו את הגביה של פיקדון מוגזם, מחזירים את הכסף בסוף השהות אבל מחיר שנגבה לא סביר. לא עונים למיילים בכלל אם יש שאלות עוד לפני הגעה למלון. ובכל מקרה כל זה לא הפריע לחופשה מושלמת במלון, המזג אוויר היה גשום כך שהמלון היה מעולה להנות ממנו.

The hotel is located next to the beach and in walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of selections. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Très bon emplacement en bord de mer et proche des commerces et restaurants. La plage est super et la piscine agréable.

Les lits sont beaucoup trop durs, impossible de bien dormir. Ménage de la chambre fait trop tardivement dans la journée avec un manque de serviettes et bouteilles d'eau signalé plusieurs fois. Capacité du restaurant en intérieur (lorsqu'il pleut) pas adapté au nombre de clients, manque de place.

Getting hounded by massage ladies as soon as you walk out of the property

We hadden per ongeluk niet voor juni, maar voor juli geboekt en zagen dat pas de dag van aankomst. Aan de balie de vergissing uitgelegd. De geboekte kamer was niet meer beschikbaar, maar we een iets luxere. Met alleen de meerprijs betalen konden we zonder problemen inchecken. Wat een service! Goed restaurant, fijn zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Bedden zijn erg hard, maar er wordt een topper op gelegd als je daarom vraagt.

Het strand tegenover het hotel is vies, niemand die zich geroepen voelt de aangespoelde en achtergelaten zooi op te ruimen. Maar dat geldt voor heel veel plekken in Azië. Jammer.

Extremely poor customer service, incredibly Unhelpful staff at check in showing little empathy or accommodation or flexibility. In the end we were forced to purchase an extra four nights in an additional separate room (which remained empty and wasn’t used) whilst we desperately tried to get hold of our room key at 10.30pm after a 14 hour long journey with 4 kids and the restaurant closing. I understand there was confusion but some empathy and understanding allowing us to feed the kids whilst we tried to solve the issue and not forcing us to book a second room when we were more than happy to pay for extra people in our family suite…honestly it had almost everyone in tears on our first evening and was such a disappointing start to the holiday. I’m still not sure that it was allowed to with hold our room key even when we said we’d agree to booking a second room, fairly sure having paid for the room in full at least a couple of us should have been allowed access, even if only to place our luggage whilst we went to the restaurant (which by the way we had to drag our luggage into the actual restaurant). I. The end with my husband having been in the phone to the manager for half an hour I produced my credit card and agreed to pay whatever extras they needed us to pay simply so we could get access to the one family suite we’d booked. Felt dishonest, uncaring and like we had been take. Advantage of. Such a shame as hotel was lovely, but I’d be very wary of booking again as in the end the stay cost us over double what we’d expected. A little kindness and customer service would have gone a long way in this instance and the staff members at check I. Would do well to practice it in future.

Good service in lobby and restaurant. Nice pool, and good location right on Au Nang beach.

House keeping came rather late and unpredictably. Occasionally they forgot to fully restock water and towels. The sunbed mattresses in the pool area had seen better days. Room AC was capable, but also loud - especially at night.

Le faltaba estar un poco más arreglado habían mesistas rotas, ralladas, los espejos bastante viejos por la humedad de la playa, y mejorar el servicio de limpieza, nuestros baños olían a humedad y el aire acondicionado es un aparato grande antiguo que hacía un ruido horrible, hay que apagarlo para dormir y te mueres de calor

great location, nice sea views and breeze, nice big pool with great water jets and spouts (nice back massage) good benches in the rooms to lay out your suitcases, no mozies, nice big size rooms with extra chairs.

Remove the ground floor balcony edge rails / balustrades so you can freely access the garden & pool from block A & B. Provide bed sheets and a ceiling fan so you can sleep with minimal A/C.

Location is in the heart of everything. Beaches, bars,restaurants, massages etc. Highly recommend this location to anyone visiting

It’s quiet here unlike some other hotels in Ao Nang. We’d stayed at another hotel then moved here. The rooms are big, basic Thai style accommodation but all clean and in working order. Great location on the beach and for the price we would stay again. Breakfast was good too.

Water pressure is an issue in this hotel when showering but don’t consider that a hassle as other places are similar. Wifi not so good and cable TV freezes all the time depending on the time of day you’re viewing. All those things were not an issue for us really. Beds are rock solid but you can get a topper put on and it helps. Slept well.

The room was lovely. Unfortunately we had issues with our room which wasted nearly two days of our stay.

The restaurant is open to the public and the pool closes early.... The resort acts like u just rent a room and don't really acknowledge your stay with them. And despite two days of inconvenience with a power cut and not having a toilet working properly. No offer of compensation was made

Location is fantastic. Calm area, but very short distance to stores, resturants and action. For our purpose, place was very good - decent value for money.

Hot water was not very hot... almost cold. Beds are rock hard. Foam on a hard wood frame. These two particulars was not aligned with a 4 star exoerience. Service at reception could have been better. No help booking taxi when leaving etc. Was however no problem to arrange ourselves after some research.

The location is fantastic. I loved the bath. Rooms are huge. Friendly staff. Stunning pool.

Awesome beach resort with spacious villas...

It was an absolutely beautiful property. The gardens and accommodation types were fabulous. The pool looking out at the amazing limestone cliffs was just stunning. Meals were delicious and prices were good. Great location. Quick walk up to main street, massages everywhere, beach views. We will be back!

Great location opposite the beach and a short stroll to the main shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Bed linen changed daily, nice big bath and good shower pressure. Our housekeeper was brilliant and changed our balcony furniture for new when I pointed out the stains on the ones we arrived to. Good size pool with lots of sunbeds. Great coffee machines and a good selection of food at breakfast, and restaurant staff always happy and helpful.

I emailed the hotel 4 times over several weeks prior to our arrival - all of them were ignored ! And when I told the front desk receptionist she just said "nothing to do with me you'll have to contact reservations". How do I do that I asked. "You need to send an email" she replied!!??? VERY unhelpful indeed. Also, we were refused more than 1 room key. The hotel doesn't provide an iron or ironing board which is pretty poor for a 4 star hotel and the pool staff only allow you 1 threadbare towel per person per day so don't expect to get dried off if you go for a dip more than once - again, VERY poor for a 4 star hotel. The WiFi is awful. Smart TV kept buffering every 5 minutes which meant trying to enjoy anything via streaming was out of the question. Best to download and watch later. Same issues around the pool area too.

Удобное месторасположение - в двух шагах от моря, очень близко от центральной улицы, и в то же время отель находится в довольно тихом и спокойном месте. Окружающие виды просто потрясающие! Мы ездили на разные экскурсии, на острова, на пляж Railay Beach, и это отличное расположение для подобного отдыха. Вилла очень просторная - площадь как жилого помещения, так и ванной комнаты была даже слишком большой. Мы ставили сушилку для одежды под вентилятором кондиционера, и она совсем не мешала, вокруг оставалось много свободного пространства. Персонал приветливый и доброжелательный, на все просьбы реагировали очень быстро. Пару раз после уборки пропадали полотенца, но их приносили по первой же просьбе. Завтрак великолепный, разнообразный, большой выбор горячих блюд, много фруктов. Правда, когда что-то заканчивалось, приходилось ждать, пока добавят, но это недостаток большинства больших отелей. В целом, всё было замечательно, не хотелось уезжать, и конечно же сюда хочется вернуться вновь!

В Таиланде довольно влажно, даже в сухой период. Одежда сохнет плохо, и небольшая электрическая сушилка была бы очень полезной. В помещении время от времени мы видели одиночных маленьких муравьёв, но они сильно не мешали. В отзывах было много претензий по поводу жёстких матрасов. Конечно, это всё индивидуально, но мы не заметили никаких неудобств, спать было вполне комфортно. Ещё в отзывах были жалобы на сырость и запах плесени. Мы были в январе, и нигде никакой плесени не видели, неприятного запаха тоже нигде не чувствовали. Но комары, конечно, были. Они в Таиланде везде, и в этом нет вины отеля.

La ubicación es privilegiada y el área de la piscina es muy agradable, el desayuno muy rico y el restaurante bastante práctico. Tener la playa de Ao Nang a unos pasos fue lo mejor de mi viaje. Para el precio que se paga me parece justo.

El personal no lograba comunicarse bien conmigo y sentía que no hacían el esfuerzo por entenderme, tuvieron un error con nuestra reservación y no nos lo pudieron resolver, las camas estuvieron muy incómodas y el hotel se siente antiguo a comparación de otros en la misma calle.

Отличный бассейн, потрясающие завтраки, вежливый и отзывчивый персонал! В номере есть ванная, чистая светлая, не убитая. В ванной шампуни, кондиционер, крем, мыло. Хороший напор горячей воды. Шумоизоляция не самая лучшая, но и не скажу, что прям всё слышно. Всё зависит от соседей.

Да по отелю всё нормально в основном. Вот только индийские постояльцы купаются в грязной, потной и вонючей одежде в чистом бассейне. Брезгливо потом туда лезть.

I loved my stay. The location was great, the restaurant is amazing with amazing views of the ocean and sunset. The staff were above amazing and very accommodating to ensure my stay was memorable. Special thanks to staff member, Pla-restaurant greeter, Sareena-wait staff at restaurant, Zaza-front desk manager and Ja jar- front desk staff.

Ao Nang, very dirty, smell of cannabis everywhere, huge Indian influence in food and customs, too in your face couldn't walk anywhere without being hassled.

The staff in the restaurant were lovely and a decent breakfast.

Our experience at Golden Beach Hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The so-called “deluxe rooms” look nothing like the photos advertised. This was very misleading and not what we paid for. We booked 3 rooms, all of which had a strong smell of mould and cannabis. This was especially concerning as we had children staying with us. The smell was constant and made the rooms feel completely unhygienic and unsuitable. We reported the issue every single day, but the reception staff were no help at all. There was never a hotel manager available, despite repeatedly asking to speak to one to resolve the situation. Out of desperation, I even tried to clean the rooms myself to get rid of the smell, but nothing worked. In the end, we had no choice but to check out early because we simply couldn’t tolerate it any longer. Trying to get support from Booking.com was just as frustrating. Communication was difficult, slow, and ultimately offered no real help or resolution. Overall, this was a very stressful and upsetting experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel, and be aware that support from Booking.com may not be there when you need it.

Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Badetücher und Liegen sind abgeschossen, Badewanne statt Dusche ist etwas veraltet.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, attentive. The room was very clean, the room had a view of the pool and the mountain.

The furniture is very old. The bathroom has a bathtub, not a shower. The shower is preferable. The towels were not of good quality.

The location was great. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pay a little more and get quality.

The room we choose was very old and needs updating, didn’t look like pictures. Pillows were hard as rocks, the room stunk of strong vinegar and there was drilling for hours on end next door to our room so we checked out early. On check out the lady offered us another room but to be honest, first impressions left me unhappy. Asked for a 1st or 2nd floor, I was given ground floor. On arrival I heard the 2 ladies behind the counter making fun of guests looks etc… I speak Thai as my sister in law taught me. So rude.

Fantastic location and a great pool area - swimming pool area very large and lots of sunbeds. Staff all great and friendly. 2 minute walk to resort centre.

We had a lovely stay at Golden Beach. Such a beautiful location in a lovely chilled area of Aonang beach. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Our room was in the perfect location overlooking the beach. The room was large, clean and very comfortable.

Stunning location at the peaceful end of the beach, beneath the beautiful cliffs. Stunning gardens and beautiful accommodation and pool.

The hotel is very good, and location also. But some personnel were not very well understanding what you want, and sometimes we had to ask more than twice to get it, but it not critical. In general very good place.

Szép tiszta. Nagyon szépen rendbetartott kert. Közel a tengerhez. Később indult a repülőnk, és megengedték, hogy 12-órakor jelentkezzünk ki.

A tenger a (thaiföldi elvárásaimhoz képest) nem volt szép tiszta. Magas a zöld alga tartalma. Apálykor olyan zavaros volt a víz, hogy inkább nem mentünk bele.

Einer der wenigen Unterkünfte direkt an der Promenade. Das reichhaltige Frühstück gab es im Thai Thai Restaurant nebenan. Das Personal im Restaurant war immer gut drauf und sehr zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten die Villa mit Meerblick, aber hauptsächlich hat man auf die Bar und den Message-Pavillon geschaut (siehe Foto), die ab mittags auch noch verhangen waren. Meeresrauschen war nicht zu hören, weil die „Schnellstraße“ an Longtail Booten zw. Ao Nang und Railay durchgängig voll und laut unterwegs waren. Es gab nur einen Schlüssel. Der Raum war abends auf über 30 Grad aufgeheizt und die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und nicht besonders effektiv.

Great location

We did not stay in the main hotel building, but in one of the individual round houses within the grounds. We were on the upper floor which is accessed by an almost spiral staircase. The room was extremely spacious and clean as was the bathroom. It was a quirky design with round walls. Lovely for something different! The water pressure in the bathroom shower was great. There was also a full bath if you prefer that. The pool area was large, clean and sunbeds comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Not a large selection if you were staying for more than a week, but a good enough selection of western choices plus a couple of Thai dishes too. I would stay at the Golden Beach Resort again because it's location is perfect, right on Ao Nang Beach. However, until they sort those mattress I think it would be short stays only.

The beds. Oh My Word!! The beds. Having read previous reviews we knew to expect hard beds. I like a firm mattress and so expected to be fine. These beds are next level hardness! Literally felt like sleeping on the floor with a blanket over it. We were only there for 2 nights so I wasn't overly bothered by it, but if I'd booked a weeks stay my back might have been protesting! Seriously Golden Beach Hotel - sort those mattresses out! When we checked in we had to pay a security deposit (or credit card swipe). Not entirely sure why as none of the other hotels we stayed in have asked for that. They also have signs up everywhere saying if you break something you have to pay for it. When we checked out we had to wait while they checked our room - and it wasn't to check if we'd drunk from the mini bar. Just seemed a bit strange...

Gute Lage direkt am Strand !

Sehr schöne Anlage. Frühstück am Meer ein Traum. Schade, dass es keine frischen Saft gab , nur künstlich schmeckende Säfte was für Thailand ungewöhnlich ist. Am Pool waren die Liegematten nicht ansprechend.

Die Lage und das große Zimmer und Bad waren richtig gut. Das Bett war riesig aber sehr fest, die AC war gut aber auch laut, man bekommt nur einen Zimmerschlüssel und das Personal beim Einchecken fand ich recht teilnahmslos. Der Pool hat nur bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Zu wenig Sonnenschirme a. Pool. Das Frühstück war für ein 4 * Hotel nicht besonders gut, die Sachen waren an unseren 2 Tagen öfters leer und man mußte warten bis es aufgeüllt war. Hier zahlt man für die Lage und dafür ist es zu teuer. Ich denke ich würde nächstes mal ein amderes Hotel wählen

Pool nur bis 18 Uhr geöffnet, abgenutzte Handtücher die am gleichen Tag um 18 Uhr abgegeben werden sollen,das wäre aber die Zeit für den Strand, da hätte ich gerne ein Strandtuch! Der Kaffee zum Frühstück war gut, das Frühstück für mehr als 2 Nächte allerdings sehr langweilig und in schwierig.

Reception staff, not very welcoming. Felt like you was troubling them with and approach to them. I messaged reception on three separate occasions and not one response from them. So very disappointing, one message was to let them know my boyfriend had surprise proposed to me and could I arrange with them any special arrangements eg room decoration… I was willing to pay however no response from any messages. On arrival my partner called reception 4 times to ask for the WiFi code, the line was cut off each time. He waked over to reception and quite sarcastically was asked oh so you’re here for the code then! Before he even asked! Beds are super hard and not comfortable could do with a little refresh
