Great location, great value, good breakfast

No heat in room but we were upgraded to a better, bigger room immediately. Great customer service

Quiet and comfortable

Repair should of been completed(toilet paper holder had a plaster repaired but not painted). Ceiling in kitchen needs repair. Shower head was very poor, some black spots around shower base,?mold?). TV remotes not working well

Spacious, bright, clean

The location was easy to find and the parking was plentiful. A Foodland is close buy so if you need milk or snacks it's really handy.

The hotel needs how to work the fireplace and TV instructions.

I would stay here again

The foyer was quite inviting. The fireplace was pretty. The rooms were a good size for my husband and me. We loved the fireplace in our room.

Our view wasn't great but we didn't rent the room for the view.

The staff were incredible and we had a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi!! The beds were incredibly comfy and the gas fireplace is a lovely touch !

Wish they would have had some more breakfast options like bacon, sausage, waffle maker.

The place is under renovation!!! Construction workers come in and out with equipment and tools and use the elevator. The dining tables are low. The location is a bit inconvenient (there is only a grocery store nearby). The pool (if you can call it a pool) is very small. It seems that the rooms need repainting because the paint is peeling. And most importantly... the hotel requires advance payment and there is no option to pay on site through Booking!!!

The bed was exceptional and the room was huge.

The building was under construction so was quite noisy. The door had to be slammed to be closed. The wifi was almost non-existent. There were clear signs that the room had not been cleaned very well, dirty coffee maker, used Kleenex and sunflower seeds found lying visibly on the floor.

The tolite was leaking from room 204 . Sheets in second room had blood stains on them.

Same breakfast each day. We were uder the impression the hot breakfasts would vary.

There was ongoing construction in some of the rooms close to us, but the noise was not too bad.

Poor breakfast choices. Eggs tasted watered-down and not much of healthy choices. Orange juice tasted artificial and was expecting more of a selection of hot items like hash browns, waffles and sausages, like other hotels that we are used to. It was more of a continental breakfast. On the last day of our stay, we went out to a restaurant for breakfast instead of eating at a hotel. Otherwise, our stay was good.

The tub was dripping and there was a rag left in the tub to keep the dripping from sounding and there were tiles off in the bathroom. Other than that it was great.

Hadn't been dusted or floors mopped in a while in washroom. Had to turn on the light outside washroom and light up entire room in the middle of the night. Hated the bathroom sink being outside the washroom. Door jammed and didn't close unless you slammed shut and made lots of noise when exiting or entering.

Pillows were terrible. I booked 3 rooms and all the pillows in every room were lumpy. I stayed here approximately 6 months ago and the pillows were the same and I wrote that in my review then.

The room was clean and spacious.

The bed mattress was too soft. We also had to open the patio door to cool down the room since the room gets too hot even with the temperature turned down. The AC wouldn't work to cool it down and turning down the heat didn't do anything.

The online was Not accurate two times. It said there was a senior discount. At the desk the woman said first it was too late to apply the discount since I paid by credit card. Then she said the room rate was better than the senior discount. Second misrepresentation online said there was a shuttle bus to the casino. Another lie. There was no shuttle bus.

Beautiful lobby, room had oak furniture and full kitchenette, granite counters. Nice variety for a standard breakfast.

We always stay at the Stone Gate Inn. The staff are wonderful. The manager is extremely kind, personable and knowledgable. He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and stress free. Its a great place to stay.

I cant believe that they rented a room to me while they are renivating the room next to me. It was verry noisy

Room was clean and really that is most important to me. It is opposite a beer store so that’s the tone. I was on the second floor and could hear the phone ringing. Doors closing. A customer ringing and ringing the bell. Not really close to anything. But restaurants are about a 10 min drive.

Quite warm in the room when we arrived and even after getting it a bit cooler when we returned from the concert it seemed to be warm again. Not sure about the temperature system. From previous stays I knew you had to point the remote at the black box on a shelf to the right of the TV. There should be instructions in the room regarding this.

Location was walkable to downtown and beach. Hotel clean. Room a good size. Parking available.

We were in room 407. There is constant noise in the room - perhaps from an HVAC unit on the roof - that can keep you awake at night.

When my originally booked hotel notified me last minute that their hot water boiler broke and I had to find another hotel, booked the stone gate. Website didn’t mention it nor did the front desk but there was construction going on. Our room was sandwiched between two rooms being demolished. Noise was ridiculous. Was loved to a new room. One directly below our other room and construction was going on there also above and beside. Would have been nice to be told. Or atleast given a break on the fees.

The hotel is very quiet and safe, easy parking. There is a small kitchenette in the room which is very convenient. For the size of the room and the amenities it is very affordable.

La chambre est de bonne taille et il n'y a pas de remarque à faire sur la propreté. L'insonorisation est plutôt bonne. Le petit déjeuner mériterait quant à lui d'être un peu plus étoffé pour être en rapport avec le standing de l'hôtel.

The front desk staff was great. Not a fan of the every other day housekeeping. We actually didn’t get our room serviced.

The property is very dated and needs some updating badly. Everything feels very musty smells musty furnishings are old very dated was quite disappointed because the pictures looked beautiful.

Seemed a bit unorganized. We had to change rooms 4 times.1st they were supposed to put us in a room with fireplace. 2nd time the clerk put us in a room that was already booked as it had adjoining door. 3rd the fireplace did not work. They finally upgraded us into a suite. The rooms. need to be refurbished..tiles missing in bathroom. i didnt use shower as the grout was. Very bad.
