海で遊ぶには最高！ ホテルから直接海遊びに行けるし、透明度の高い水と綺麗な白浜が最高です。 夜は海岸で花火もできるし、消火用のバケツやチャッカマンも貸してくれます。

設備が古くて部屋のトイレとか使いづらいです。 食事は美味しかったですが、あの値段だともっと良いものが出てもいいと思います。他のプリンスホテルの方が食事は満足できました。

Stunning location with a great access to the beach. Perfect for kids and families. Shimoda is simply great. Around the hotel there a few nice spots and restraints too.

•We have been visiting this hotel almost every year for around 10 years. It has so much potential, and the location is truly wonderful. However, the rooms, lobby, and other common areas are now in need of renovation. We particularly enjoy the terrace rooms on the first floor, but unfortunately, the bathrooms are especially in need of refurbishment and are no longer in good condition… The carpets everywhere are old and dusty with fading colors. Wall papers and windows too. It would be better to switch to no carpets in the rooms as the guest use the beach and carpets make the hygiene impossible. I really hope the Prince Group will invest in a full renovation and renewal of this beautiful property. With some care and modernization, it could become a truly outstanding hotel again. •The dinner buffet during summer holiday was very expensive but was serving freezer food for various dishes. With a price of 8000 Yen per person we were expecting much more salad and meat dishes. The salad bar was basically tiny. The light and visual of the dining room resembled a cheap mensa at university and didn’t feel like „holiday“. I hope the hotel will improve this but for now we won’t dine at the hotel again. It was our first time and sadly also our last. A prince of 4000 Yen would be okay, 8000 Yen for this qualify isn’t worth the money. • The beach bar is beautiful but didn’t offer any coffees or desserts like pan cakes or waffles. With prices starting at 1200 Yen for a simple dish it would be nice to enjoy a coffee time with an ocean view. Much potential but again the hotel doesn’t seem to know how to attract visitors.

Tesisin görünenle gerçeği asla uyuşmuyor özellikle havuzu görünenden çok farklı ve bildiğiniz küçücük çocuk havuzu gibiydi ve kirliydi ayrıca otel in hiç bir organizasyonu yoktu kendimizi bir pansiyonda kalıyor gibi hissettik.Oda deniz manzaralıydı fakat pencereleri o kadar kirliydi ki dışarının güzelliğini kapatıyordu.Aynı zamanda denizi çok pis ve kayalık yosun doluydu girilebilecek bir deniz değildi.Biz yakınındaki halk plajına gitmek zorunda kaldık.Yani anlayacağınız paramız çöpe gitti gibi hissediyoruz

The view and location on the ocean was beautiful. Food was delicious. Most of the staff was very accommodating and professional.

Our check in agent was not really friendly. The sheets on one bed had sand in it. Their dinner option was extremely expensive and there was really no other choice coming in later in the afternoon. The whole scheduling dinner/ breakfast thing was not really helpful when traveling. Might have been a cultural thing.

部屋の写真が違ったかな… 古さを感じました。。。 夏休み時期で高い金額だったのは仕方ないが アルコール飲み放題を実施したり、 ソフトドリンクも 種類が増えるといいな、と思いました。 ソフトクリームは説明書きがないと わからないです！ 私もスタッフさんに聞いて理解し その後、何人かの方々に教えました。 皆さん作る前に悩まれてましたよ。

ちょっと老朽化が進んでいたような。後、駐車場が少し狭かったと思います。

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Do yourself a favour and book literally anywhere else. Dirty glasses with lipstick stains, rusty pipework, dead flies all over windows, rusty kettle socket - total fire hazard. Pictures do not look anything like the actual hotel. Complained to management after paying over 3k for four nights, how they can charge even close to that amount is absolutely insane. The area isn’t great not a lot to do around no restaurants really. Only thing to do nearby is a dolphin show which I would never fund, total animal abuse. The only positive is the staff, they were lovely. If you’re from the UK you’ll understand me when I say this reminds me of a Butlins. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, we left after one night.

ビーチは本当に素晴らしく、ホテルの宿泊客に限られた清潔な空間でした。波も適度に高く、まさに白浜のイメージそのままでした。ライフセイバーの方々の安全管理が行き届いていて、とても安心できました。

カーテンが破れていて、穴が数か所確認されました。色も黄ばんでおり、様々な汚れが明確に存在しました。交換をお願いしました。設備については、経営の状態を示唆するように維持管理が困難のだろうというインフラ設備でした。海で過ごすことに集中でしたので、それほど気になりませんでしたが、劣化について今後対策が必要になるように思いました。スタッフの方はポリシーに従って真摯な対応でしたが、荷物を運んでくれなかったことや、高齢のスタッフの方々は傍観されているだけで、手を出しておられなかったのが強く印象に残ります。

Carpet in room stunk, not enough dinner reservations for all guests and wasn't given another option, for price the resort is not up to date.

Le prix très exorbitant pour la prestation et en plus devoir repayer pour certains équipements comme les chaises et parasols sur la plage, le ping-pong.... c'est très mesquin. C'est honteux de demander à des clients de repayer pour des services vu le prix élevé déjà payé au départ. La description de Booking.com ne correspondait pas à la réalité. On ne pense pas en avoir eu pour notre argent et c'est ce qui nous a déçu.

Завораживает засыпать под звуки волн. Чарующий вид на побережье из окна. Отель, у которого есть лёгкий шарм времени и который, несмотря на возраст, в отличном состоянии. Персонал очень любезный. У отеля свой пляж и ресторан с террасой на берегу.

View from the room of the beach and sea was excellent. Shops and souveniers, vending machines on each floor, kids play area, pool and dining and cafe were excellent. Most important agenda was to make kids happy and they have taken quite a lot of good memories.

Bathroom was old and certainly can do good with renovation, no water bottles, buy separately from vending machines or shop downstairs. No room service of food, so be sure to take meal packages or book appointment in the restaurants in the property. Talk to the staff at reception, they are very helpful.

Nice location at the beach, nice beach

-A bit outdated hotel 80s style, you see the age -ridiculous price for a sunshade 6000Yen/day, couldn't find beach towel supply as usually supplied for free by Hotels of this category -50% South east asian staff at reception, I would expect only Japanese staff with their inherent friendliness and competence in Japan. -Only a buffet restaurant and a Sushi restaurant in-house, no à la carte dining in the evening possible.

The hotel is becoming run down. Our room on the 4th floor was like a sauna for the first night. We had this sorted the following day. The interior is very dated 1980s. The tiles are broken in the bath room. 13% extra tax on top of high prices for food.

Das Personal war sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Etwas schwierig war die Ankunft, da die Rezeptionistin leider kein Englisch konnte und uns deshalb nichts erklären konnte. Aber es gibt Personen an der Rezeption, die Englisch sprechen.

Es liegt überall im Zimmer Teppich und dieser stinkt im Eingangsbereich des Zimmers leider etwas. Und das Badezimmer ist auch eher klein, aber ansonsten war das Zimmer schön. Leider ist der Balkon sehr klein, sodass man nur draußen stehen kann, aber nicht sitzen.

Location great, loved the beach front. Garden pool and Kids Room was also very welcome for the kids. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly decent and found myself looking forward to it every morning. The onsen is nothing to write home about, but that’s probably because I prefer hot springs in the evening (no view)

The bathrooms need to be renovated (since 1972), but otherwise the rooms were spacious and the beds relatively comfy. The bus reservation system needs to be fixed; for people who don’t bring cars, it’s the only viable way in and out of the hotel and if you don’t reserve early you are essentially stuck at the hotel waiting for a taxi. Staff-wise, I was happy with the friendliness, but my one complaint is related to above (access to the city): If a bus reservation is confirmed to be full by the staff, I think they need to be more proactive in offering alternatives to guests (can I call you a cab? Do you need directions to the local bus stop? Etc)

Reservamos habitación familiar con tatami. Fue muy linda experiencia. Con vista al mar. Está un poco lejos del centro pero se soluciona con un taxi que funcionaba muy bien y a precio razonable. El hotel tiene un bus en algunos horarios que también funciona muy bien. Sobre todo para ir hacia la ciudad. Reservamos sin desayuno pero se puede adquirir durante la estancia y es un buffet excelente.

The room is small and old. Tiny TV, old style of kettle. Poor air conditioning, no ventilation in bathroom, smelly cabinets. And you need to make your own beds for the futons.

Beach right from the hotel. Very comfortable - especially with kids.

Big hotel next to thebeach. Guess it's a good spot for surfing and onsen experience but it was a pity we did neither. Many parking spots available. We booked traditional Japanese room with tatami. The room is spacious with essential equipments and a standard Japanese bathtub to enjoy a bath in the room.

Beachfront location and Great Public Onsen..not crowded when we stayed..this made it a great trip

The hotel is in need of a deep cleaning. And there was no sun beds or umbrellas, or even a cafe by the beach, which is a shame. When you book a hotel in the middle of nowhere you kind of expect to be able to get the things you want or need from the hotel. Instead of hanging out by the beach right outside of the hotel we went to a different beach where we could buy drinks and ice cream.

The location was perfect, beach front on a beautiful, clean beach. It was easy to get to by bus or hotel shuttle from Shimoda Station. It is an older property but very clean with a beautiful view from each room. The rooms are also larger than usual for Japan. The public onsen overlooking the ocean was amazing too. When we checked in, the toilet in our room smelled so the staff came up and personally helped us to move to another one right away. We have breakfast and dinner there twice. It was very good. If I can say the best thing about this hotel is the wonderful hospitality of the staff. I would definitely stay here again.

1️⃣房间没有一次性头绳皮筋不是很方便 2️⃣因为床很柔软想翻找品牌的时候，发现床单的第一层床垫下面很脏，有黄色的一块一块的碎渣

A truly Japanese experience complete with private beach, onsen and delicious Japanese breakfast offering fish head soup, rice, wasabi and bonito toppings. Western breakfast is also available but not the main show. Although the hotel is a bit old, the immaculate, bright rooms more than make up for it. I haven't seen rooms this clean in new western hotels! All rooms look onto the azure waters of the Izu Peninsula with perfect views of the rising sun. Be sure to wake up at 4:45 for the ultimate experience in Nippon, the origin of the sun! The beach is relaxing and secluded but beware of the rocks especially for the little ones. Shirahama beach is deeper and perfect for surfing or body surfing and is only 10 minutes walking. Shimoda is 15 minutes away by bus or taxi. The hotel even has its own onsen in case you didn't relax enough at the beach! Perfect cure for your jetlag.

beautiful property, right on the beach. staff was very helpful and friendly. the building has a cool vintage vibe to it. even thought it was older the building felt clean and well maintained.

The place is old, we can feel it. They do clean rooms and the place like any regular hotel i believe but the place still feel kind of « unclean » if we look at the walls (outside, the view from the beach) also the bath was kind of looking dirty altho it was cleaned every day (i do feel like that they do not clean rooms windows tho) As for the beach it is great sitting there etc but it is full of rocks so for swimming it isn’t a great spot unless you have shoes and are an adult.

浴室に茶色の不明な液体が吹きても拭いても流れ出てきてとても不衛生であった。冷蔵庫もなぜか水が溜まっており不衛生であった。
