Hostess was the best part! The room was wonderful and felt like a small condo with huge patio.

The room was bigger than I thought. The staff were helpful with check in. The views were outstanding. I would definitely come here again.

Very friendly staff. Quiet room with a great view.

The AC didn’t work and I had to sleep with the balcony door open and a box fan pulling in cool air. The room was 79 degrees… I couldn’t get to sleep until I found the box fan. Other than that the room was excellent!

The room was clean, nicely furnished, and laid out well, with a large bathroom and a private balcony. Although the building is older, it did not feel rundown. We enjoyed the distant river view and hearing the sounds of people and dogs playing in the river below. The location is away from the busy downtown area, with a restaurant nearby and stores about half a mile away. The staff were responsive when we contacted them.

The air conditioning did not work during the first two days of our stay, despite temperatures around 90 degrees. The staff eventually fixed it, but it required a lot of messaging and effort on our part. The advertised refrigerator was extremely small, barely cooled anything, and could hold only a few drinks. Both beds were uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed, which had a bar pressing into your back. The nearby highway created constant traffic noise, and the view directly below the balcony included ladders, pipes, and other unattractive maintenance items.

We had a spacious room with a separate bedroom plus murphy bed in the living room. We enjoyed the large deck too. We didn't hear any others so we assume the walls are thicker which helped keep the evenings quiet.

The breakfast really needs to be updated, canned fruit cocktail is a poor choice. The property needs some updating, especially the common area carpet is in disrepair. Front desk person had her head phones on when we walked by a few times which didn't feel very welcoming or friendly.

The room facing the river was amazing view. Room very spacious. Bed so comfy.

The coffee maker was a little dirty inside.

Wonder staff and a great location!

The location was fabulous....my room was spacious and loved the patio and the deer visiting in the morning. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful and felt so welcome and the kindness for my dog was extra appreciated.

The breakfast - or at least the coffee would have been nice to have that open at 6 instead of 7 for those of us that get up early and head out for the day!

The rooms were spacious, loved that we had a patio, was convenient for our dog to use the grassy area right off patio.Actually had a deer come right up to our patio.

Owners have definitely let the hotel get run down, almost shabby. We have stayed there many times over the years but the rooms have been neglected especially considering the high market prices they are charging.

It was a beautiful hotel. We love that a deer came up to our door and it was so close to everywhere we need to go.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The only issue we had was we asked for maid service and they didn’t show up up until almost 4 and we told her to come back tomorrow and put our sign on the door and she didn’t come so the next morning I got up and went to the front door desk and they had told them that we kept telling her no service. It was resolved and was cleaned tho.

I had a river view room but there were leaks in the ceiling during a thunderstorm. I reported it and was moved to a room without a view.

I was offered a bottle of wine or some lotion for the inconvenience but wasn't given either. The front desk person suggested I might get some money back but I did not hear from management.

We really liked how close it was to the Deshutes River Trail which we walked every day. It was only a 6 min drive to town. Our suite was very large and comfortable and had a nice balcony.

Our room could use some updating but it wasn’t a big deal.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but you will need a car. It's a nice size room-we didn't get the room with a view. Breakfast hours could be extended instead of 7-9am, especially for weekends.

This is my favorite place to stay in Bend and I will keep coming back. :) The view of the sunrise over the river from my room was gorgeous.

I've stayed at the Pine Ridge Inn many times before, but it is going downhill. First, if you would like a refrigerator in your room, be sure to call ahead to confirm that your room has one. Even if you reserve a room that says it has a fridge, you might not get one. Apparently, they are replacing some of the fridges with "eco coolers" which shut off every two hours. Yes, you read that correctly. It looks like a hotel fridge, so I thought it was broken the first night. Ginny at the front desk tried to help me, but there were no other rooms available for my length of stay, so she said I could put my food in the room across the hall for that night, but I'd have to move it in the morning. When I went to move it as promised, it wasn't there. A different staff member had already moved it to the hotel kitchen fridge without my permission. And she told me that there was nothing wrong with my "fridge", I would just need to push the button EVERY TWO HOURS. But even when you do that, it's not a food safe temperature. It's more for if you have a few cans of soda or something. And, here's what I discovered, you could push the button at 11pm and get up at 5am to push it again, and your food will already not be safe to eat. It's ridiculous. I ended up having to throw away a bunch of food I had prepped for the trip. So, the moral of the story is, if you have food or medication you need to keep cold, get it in writing that you will have a room with an actual fridge. Also, if you want a hot shower, turn the water on at least 20 minutes before you actually want to shower, and by then the water might just be warm enough. I've always loved this place, but between the fridge and hot water and some attitude from a newer staff member, this was a very disappointing experience. We got a free upgrade to a suite with a king bed in one room and murphy bed in another, just because they realized we’re travelling with kids. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. The finishes in the suite looked like taken from a luxury estate magazine. They texted us when our room was ready for check in, which was well before the regular check in time. The bathroom was actually three separate rooms: one was for the toilet, one with sink, and another one with jacuzzi and the standing shower. Soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotions were sourced from a local natural cosmetic shop. These are retailing for $20+ a package, and I can vouch these are well worth the price. Hands down the best cosmetics I’ve tried in any hotel in North America and Europe. Complimentary breakfast was great. Not a big variety of breakfast items, but definitely a great choice of high quality food.

We always love staying at Pine Ridge Inn! It is in a great location close to both college campuses. Its nice and small and overlooks the river. We always feel safe and comfortable here and will definitely be back.

I've stayed here several times before and will definitely be back. The rooms are large but also so cozy with the fireplace and separate sitting area. The staff are always friendly and it's in a great location. Highly recommend!

I loved the room it was big. The bed was comfortable and they gave a complimentary drink which I thought was amazing. Breakfast was good too.

Hotel was in a very nice location, and the view of the river is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable and the walls were thick enough that we couldn't hear our next-door neighbor. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, and we liked being able to put our food on a tray to take it to our room to enjoy on the patio. Would certainly stay here again!

We stayed for six nights and our room wasn’t cleaned. One time, clean towels were left by our door. If not for this, they would’ve had the highest rating from me.

The rooms are big! They are so clean and well furnished. The atmosphere in the hotel is so cozy just like home. We loved the fireplace in our room and the balcony. They prepared everything for our dog: the dogs bed, the treats and the bowls for food and water.

Everything about the Pine Ridge Inn was great. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice fireplace, balcony, and tub. The staff were wonderful, kind, and efficient. The breakfast had a lot of variety and choices. The price was amazing. Being so close to the Riverwalk was an additional boost that we took advantage of our first morning. It was less than 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor. Perfect three day stay.

I would have given a 10 but when we pulled out the hide a bed there was cereal stuck to the bottom of the mattress and it wasn’t very clean, some stains. More options for breakfast

I love staying here the rooms are spacious and clean it feels more like a small apartment than a hotel room The staff is great. We asked for a Christmas tree to decorate in the room since we were visiting my daughter for Christmas and they happily provided one with lights.! It was a really good visit all around

We did get locked out one night when the key card stopped working and had to call for assistance but they came right away and let us in and gave us new cards.

A very comfortable and attractive room, We received a complimentary upgrade to a room with a fireplace overlooking the river - gorgeous. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional.

The bath is a little deep under the shower - anyone with balance or mobility issues might have difficulty but there is a good handrail which everyone should probably use.

The place was quiet. Amazing staff and near the Deschutes river.

No staff in the evening past 9pm. One night my room key didn't work so I got stuck outside for an hour before security was able to get me inside the lobby. Once inside the lobby, security had trouble getting access to my room. Finally I was able to get in around 20 minutes later.

I've stayed at this Inn many times over the years and have always thought it was a comfy, cozy place to stay. The location is great-close to town but in the trees and above the Deschutes so it felt quiet and peaceful.

The Inn is getting old and the big issue for me was the difficulty in getting hot water for a shower. The staff said the boiler is over 30 years old and the owners aren't putting anything into the building since they plan on demolishing the place next year and building a huge complex of shops, restaurants, rooms, etc. on the property. SAD! It seems that Bend has just been over run with huge hotel/motel complexes/shops/etc and has changed the character of the area. It's not a go-to place for me so much anymore.

Location was good for walkable access to the Old Mill District and River Walk. Felt safe and was dog-friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the jet tub. Nice to have a balcony.

The room lighting was a little off - too dark or too light. Furnishings were a bit dated and rough. Room was smaller than the online images indicated.

Absolutely beautiful property--small and intimate like a quaint inn but yet close to wonderful food options and city activities. The holiday decor was just like in a Hallmark movie!

The room was very nice.

The spa tub was of no use because there was very little hot water. We would turn on only the hot water for the shower or tub and it would be warm only without any cold water added. The room had only two paper coffee cups- no cups for the bathroom sinks. The staff was pleasant but the office is not open or staffed in the evenings. I left a message once but never received a call back. We have stayed at PRI several times and were very impressed and worth the price but this time we were very disappointed. It was not worth the cost.

The whole staff experience from check in to daily interactions was wonderful. Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet.

Breakfast was just OK. What we had was good, just not much selection. It was sufficient for our needs and the breakfast room was sunny and cozy.

What an unexpected delight! Tammy called me to let me know my room would be ready for me if i wanted to arrive earlier than the check in time. When i arrived, i was greeted by a sweet lady at the front desk. My room was so inviting with the fireplace on and jazz misic on the tv. The bed was sooooo comfortable! The toiletries in the bathroom were so nice! The brand they brought in is great! I loved the lotion so much i had to get some to take with me! Breakfast was also great! A simple but delicious continental breakfast with a spinach and cheese egg bite, yogurt with house made berry compote, treats from a local bakery, among other things. Each staff member i encountered was kind and intent on ensuring their guests felt welcomed and comfortable. The property is situated above the deschutes river and i enjoyed the view from the dining room. The last little treat was a dear that came to the lawn in front of my patio! Next time i come to Bend, I'm definitely coming back to this property!

The room was huge and the pull down bed was made up and the fireplace burning when we arrived. Very welcoming.

The staff are not there full time and the breakfast was good but a little sparse.

The property is old parking lot rough and uneven. Parking lot lights not working very dark and some what dangerous. I stumbled several times walking in the dark and this rough and in terrible shape parking lot. Would not stay there again
