Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach

Great hotel. Location perfect, staff all exceptionally friendly with genuine hospitality at the front of everything they do. Would recommend.

What can I say? The 6th time we have stayed here tells you all you need to know about his hotel. The food, the pool, the rooms, the gyms, sauna and steam room. All perfect especially for children too. Very good area with easy transport links via the tram and metro. The ultimate reason for returning is the staff, special mention for Irene, Araf the lifeguard and Elizabeth in reception. All other staff are friendly, kind and approachable. A testament to Movenpick and the reason we are keep returning.

The partial view is exactly per the photos on their website, so don’t expect great views. The hotel itself is very nice and location is excellent. Great value for $.

Let me just say the warm welcome I got at the front desk from Oyatullo and his professionalism is just amazing. Movenpick are lucky to have such an asset

Such a wonderful place to stay, room was lovely with a beautiful view near the Marina.

Movenpick is an excellent place to stay when at Jumeirah beach. 35 to 45 min from DXB or Downtown Dubai/mall by car. Dubai marina and The Palm is a 15 min drive. Excellent rooms and facilities, close to the beach and many restaurants/cafes. Check-in was our biggest negative waiting for 35 minutes even though our flight was delayed and we got there at 5pm with no reason or upgrade.

Great location. Friendly staff.

The staff were exceptional. Oak the chef, Irene, Julia and Isabella were fantastic, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. They totally made my stay.... I always looked forward to breakfast because Oak was a very friendly and made my eggs just the way I liked it.

The staff were excellent. My flight arrival and departure times were at odd times and the staff accommodated me.

The location of property is very good. Lots of restaurants and shops aground but very expensive. Beach is only fewer minutes walk. Whole staff is very friendly. Breakfast is not good. Have not much choice. You get frustrated eating similar Breakfast everyday day. Over all not bad to stay in the hotel. Possibly stay next time in the same hotel.

One of the best locations on JBR. If you use the BackDoor gate you go on to a plaza that has all sorts of small shops,'a small supermarket, a pharmacy and even a clinic all within 100m of the back of the building. There is also easy access to the tram from there. I only wished they left the back door open all day. While this is not a beach front property it has a great pool that is on a bridge over the road. You are swimming above moving cars. Since Dubai is hot the property not being beach front is actually a good thing. The buildings shade the pool so you can easily use it most of the day without direct sun. I was there in June and between 11:30 to 2:00 is the time you will be in direct sun. The location is close to everything JBR walk has to offer and really close to the Marina walk as well. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a quick stay for the Eid. I really enjoyed it. The hotel is well located and the staff is very helpful especially the lady that did my check-in (I forgot her name). I will come back for sure!

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is doing a lot on sustainability (refillable glass water bottles rather than plastic, for example) but they are letting themselves down in other ways. I always remove the card and turn off lights when leaving the room so that lights and aircon don't stay on all day but every day, I came back to find the housekeeping staff had left it in and turned all of the lights back on.

Room was not ready and I had to complain in order to get a room. A/C system was stuck and not working. I will think twice before I stay there again.

Our stay was amazing! Many thanks to Julie on front desk and her supervisor (unfortunately I forgot her name) for the great care of us! It was a pleasure to chat with both girls on reception. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty, big choices. Definitely will recommend to others!

We booked through Hotels.com went to the hotel explained to them. I am a Gold member and see if they can provide us an upgrade and prior E late checkout, they explained to us that they don’t do that through Hotels.com and they only do it through their own system called accor

Excellent hotel on the JBR and 5 mins walk away from the beach. Concierge staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities included a pool, spa, sauna, steam room and a few restaurants. Breakfast was included in my booking and staff fulfilled my request for eggless pancakes and dosa/paratha for breakfast. JBR has many cuisine options for lunch/dinner for a reasonable price (approx £20-30pp per meal). They provide a beach bag containing towels and a parasol free of charge which can be used on the public beach. Unfortunately this hotel doesnt have a private beach. The JBR is congested with cars most of the time which is something to bear in mind if you want a quiet environment. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to JBR and the beach and doesnt mind traffic.

Very friendly and helpful staff, special mention to Irene and Rabin. Very good high quality selection of food at all meal times. Hotel clean, pool clean, room very comfortable. Gym very good too. Would recommend for children.

Good hotel, but a bit outdated. AC temperature is controlled by the hotel which in the Dubai summer is not convenient. That being said the rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are helpful.

Hello there! 🙋‍♂️ This marks my sixth visit to glitzy Dubai 🌃 & I usually opt for accommodations within the Marina JBR areas. This time round, a slight change, I decided to try out the Movenpick at JBR for the first time.🏨 Brought along my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and friends that formed two big happy units. We decided to book half-board trips for both families and dove headfirst into 10 days of supposed luxury and relaxation. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't quite live up to expectations. Breakfast and dinner came out bland and were a sort of let down, not the culinary experience I was hoping for. 🥗🥘 As a result, much to our dismay, we had to seek taste outside for nine days, incurring additional costs which was unsavoury. Not to mention the lack of cordiality when approached for something as simple as apple and orange juice for the kids while dining in. The restaurant staff even went as far as to say that soft drinks were not included! 🙄🍹 On a brighter note, the reception and cleaning team were wonderful, especially the dedicated folks at the swimming pool. The lifeguards were extraordinarily helpful which made my day every time. 🏊‍♂️👍 One hiccup was the fact that despite having a scenic balcony view, the noise from horns and exhausts made sleep an impossible task 😴🚘🔊. Would I recommend the hotel? Yes, mainly due to its fantastic location! 👌 But I wouldn't say the same about the on-site restaurant. If you can take your meals outside, I suggest you

Really enjoyed my stay at Movenpick. Staff are very professional, friendly and courteous and a special shout out to the pool attendant and bartender. Hotel is very well situated to bars, restaurant and beach. Will definitely stay again when I next visit Dubai.

One of the older hotels so don’t expect too much… pool hardly gets any sun and the main lobby smells of smoke… oh and you can hear outside noise when in the room.

Always a pleasure staying at Mövenpick. They looked after me so well considering I’m pregnant. Will definitely be going back!

I chose the hotel for I knew the brand (Movenpick) and the location but for sure Movinpick should reconsider their current management & staff knowledge and understanding! on early morning around 2:30 AM some guests were partying disco style and much to my surprise after almost 30 mins I had to call the reception to report the incident.

A Big Thank you to Gaurav, Asim and Donia Mohammed for their amazing hospitality and support during a very challenging event we held in the Movenpick hotel. Food was delicious and everything went as expected.

It's a nice hotel, but not more than you would expect from five stars. The room layout was a little odd with an opening to the bathroom. But we really appreciated the late checkout given to us on account of being premium Hotels.com members. The staff was overall exceptional which is the primary reason I am submitting this review.

Stayed for 2 weeks with family, staff were all very nice and professional, we had the electricity stop working in our room and they attended and fixed it and also followed up, unfortunately there was some insects in our room and I was being bitten, I let the guest services know they changed the bedsheets daily but the problem remained and was extremely uncomfortable. Also the lobby smells very much of heavy cigarettes as the bar door is kept open - it was difficult as I was effected and my little child

One of the nicer hotels on JBR. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Chocolate hour isn’t to be missed! Very conveniently located.

Superb location and lovely front office staff, extremely convenient and value for money. Bathroom shower flooded from the shower cubicle everytime we used it. Didn’t bother us too much as we were just using it as a base to sleep. Another minor annoyance was being hassled by the perfume and property sales people in the lobby shops everytime we walked past to and from the elevator.

Lovely hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant. Can be a little too noisy, located in a very busy area, always a traffic build up outside.

In desperate need for an update. For one of the more premium hotels it’s disappointing. The aircon in the room didn’t work properly and couldn’t get below 24.5 degrees which is very annoying when it’s so hot and you go to the room to cool down. They tried to fix it twice but couldn’t. The drains smelt really bad to I actually thought someone had pee’d on the floor and the cleaner missed it!

Very helpful as soon as we went to check in. Ariz gave us an early check in as my fiance is pregnant and also put us on a high floor with a sea view, he was exactly what you would want as a 1st impression if it was your own business. This level of service continued throughout the holiday, food was amazing and was only topped by the restaurant staff. Thank you for making our last holiday as a 2 so memorable.

Not only were the staff incredibly attentive but an extra shout out to both Rita at the cafe (for making me feel at home and providing great service) and also to Ying Lyu especially for making everything extra special and solving all my issues and making my stay memorable

Nice hotel and friendly reception staff. Buffet breakfast and dinner staff were very slow at drinking even water and coffee from their station (excluding the self service coffee) and removing dirty plates from the tables.

Excellent hotel, will definitely visit again!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Lovely staff. Upgraded me to a semi sea view room. My only criticism is the noise coming from the road, I could hear it in the room. The window insulation isn’t great. Also upstairs room were moving furniture every morning, it woke me up and sounds of banging of cleaners outside.

Property is in a good location. Close to other shops and the beach. Food wise - breakfast buffet has plenty of choice but the food is average. Sheesha place doesnt open until 5.30pm and could do with being open all day like other hotels on the same stretch. Staff are all extrmerly respectfull and helpfull.

Service from all pool guys was exceptional especially Arief. They were welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We had lounge access and Girly and Joy were lovely and efficient. The bar pool guy (no name sorry) was great too. Room was v clean and water supplied daily. A lovely stay again!

The pillows were the best. I'd like to buy some. The mattress was perfect. The staff were beyond reproach. Con: I slipped on the bathroom floor, wet from shower and bathmat moved over, broke a toe. The design of the bathroom with the shower right by the door could be improved in future by having the toilet and shower locations reversed.

Hotel is very nice a and well located. Easy access to the walk. However there are two downsizes : - windows do not reduce enough noise from the street - hotel doesn't have private beach as majority of hotels that are next to beach. They recommend public beach but it's crowdy and not that clean as private beaches that belong to other hotels. It's a certain downsize for hotel location which is very close to sea. So you may expect nice beach experience. I know that other Movenpicks in Dubai offer vouchers for commercial beaches so maybe that is something that this Movenpick should also think of ?

The staff and service were excellet the pool area was shaded by buildings which may suit some. There is exstensive building works opposite which is noisy but in Dubai building everywhere. Beach area is good but infront of hotel also suffers from building works. Not of course the hotels fault so i havent downgraded the raiting. Breakfast was varied with all cultures catered for. Breakfast staff were particularly nice and super helpful

Made to feel like a thief as accused of not paying tourism tax on day one. Harassed for two days till they realised it was there mistake, otherwise clean hotel and nice area

Stayed at this hotel a few times previously but this was our first time in an Executive room. We enjoyed the lounge access and food/drink offerings and stayed in a room on one of the top levels which was great because it was quieter than the lower floors we'd stayed on before. We picked the hotel due to its location (jumeirah beach).

Poor pool, not clean rooms. I had a friend came and they kept disturbing me in my room by ringing and asking.

This is a tired and outdated property that needs a complete refurbishment. No beach access due to a large construction site next door. The complimentary breakfast is substandard and haphazard. The Chocolate Hour was a server handing guests small cubes of brownie on a napkin. All employees are lovely - the hotel needs a makeover.

There was basically nightclub next door started at 5am, music, shouting, you name it!. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel!!!. Noise from 24 hour on going construction works nearby.
