Booked what should have been one of the better rooms based on price and description. Was not given the room I booked, which will be discussed with the hotel. It is seemingly an older hotel, has both a 13th and 14th floor which seems less common in China as 4 is considered unlucky and I was given 1404, maybe as I am a westerner. Frustrating that hotels choose to treat guests like they will not know any better and effectively downgrade you. More surprising given my lifetime status. I will not go back, too many other hotels to choose from. Breakfast is like most others - buffet style nothing special and everything at the same lukewarm temperature. Lounge has nice river view, but very open and as nobody has ear/headphones it seems, plenty of noise you might not want to listen to. Chinese restaurant on 4th floor was nice and we enjoyed the food we had for dinner. There area around the hotel is decent, shops restaurants, places to walk. The nearest metro line is a short car/taxi/Didi drive away.

The location was remote with no amenities around. The hotel is a bit outdated.

Les toilettes collées face au mur avec très peu d espace pour les jambes Surtout n allez pas au spa qui n est vraiment pas digne d 1 sheraton elles ne savent pas masser rien de professionnel pas de boissons chaudes offertes....la propreté des serviettes laisse à désirer Seul le prix était digne du Sheraton et vous ne pouvez rien dire car elles ne comprennent pas l anglais et quand vous allez à la réception on vous dit que le spa ne fait pas partie de l hôtel..... L emplacement loin de tout

Fantastic location overlooking peaceful river - great for walks or exercises on promenade. Hotel service was nice and staff very helpful. They upgraded us to a better room with river view. Hôtel provides pamphlets on where to eat and sightseeing - most useful.

The hotel is dated and cleaning of the room was not the usual 5-star meticulous standard. We were in and out everyday and didn’t bother to complain.

- Pas grand chose à faire autour de l'hôtel, mais il suffit de prendre un taxi pour aller plus près du centre pour trouver ce qu'il y a d'intéressant à faire à Shunde - nourriture au restaurant chinois de l'établissement assez moyenne

La habitación es realmente amplia. El diseño de todo, muy funcional. El staff, muy amable y resolutivo. El buffet desayuno muy completo y variado

The G4Fun group spent the last three nights of our 9D/8N golf itinery at this first 5 star hotel in Shunde. This hotel stands out at the Pearl River Delta region. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast spread is good. My room on the 13th floor, #1361, had a good view of the surrounding area. Directly opposite was a major building,either government or a major name. The mrt station was at 1o'clock direction. Enjoyed the stay, especially the breakfast spread.

A lot of sitting areas in the lobby for friends to get together . Breakfast reasonably quite ok. Can see beautiful sunrise from the river view room or easy walk along the river

Room too dark for me, can’t do reading. Not much to get for a drink after dinner while hanging out with friends at lobby or lounge. The bed in my room is long overdue for replacement

Excellent stay with nice amenities. The staffs are friendly, helpful and polite especially Gavin Zhao who is also very approachable.

Hard to find something to remember we liked

Tired hotel in need of a total renovation. Furniture is tired and over used, facilities are in mediocre condition. The Chinese restaurant is ok but very old style, the western restaurant is lame. Staff does not speak English in most cases but it’s normal in china, thou there is no empathy. We tried desperately to order something not in the menu but really simple, like scrambled eggs after breakfast time was gone, to keep the diet going, as the all day menu is terrible, but it was impossible. A very kind person in the staff offered us some free fruit.

The breakfast was good with a large spread.

The hair conditioner was not refilled and the used mugs were not been washed.

The hotel needs a lot of updates, everything things were aged, breakfast was very bad compared to other hotels that I have stayed on this trip.

雖然是落成了一段時間的酒店，但確是氣勢磅礡的建築。在陽台飽覽順德江河美景，非常遼闊，心曠神怡，美不勝收。前台職員Jason Chen 服務態度積極主動，感謝他upgrade 我們到江景房間，令旅程更添色彩。另熱心指導酒店設施，問到去哪裏吃地道順德菜，他介紹了酒店內一間私廚，初初以為酒店內的很貴，但吃起來食品非常出色，也不貴。

I like the staff very help full

Excellent service hotel. We extend one More night after one day stay. Hotel service impressed me. As elite member they upgrade to nice cannel view room to us. Variety food choice at lounge , less crowded we can nicely enjoy our time here. Hotel breakfast with lot of local shunde food . Overall satisfied for the stay.

Lounge staffs are very nice, polite and helpful when I need help every time. Hot and cold food as well as desserts are offerred. Even though it's not like a normal buffet, it's a good place to have it there. There are various kinds of wines you can try and taste.

The lounge is served par excellent by Thea and her team. The food is adequate for business travelling nary a worry of what for dinner. After a relaxing walk by the park a stone throw away. A quite quaint place to layover for business. Highly recommended.

Too Dark! No atmosphere, seem desolate!

It's a grand hotel over a terrace overlooking DeSheng River. We got upgraded to a river view room with Lounge access. The hotel was nicely maintained and cleaner than my expectations given its age. The lounge was a nice place to relax. There you got the nice view facing RongQi harbour on the opposite river bank and you got nice food during evening hours as well. Our room was on the floor below the lounge with the nice view as well. The staff was helpful. Especially Chen Xiaoyang who responded quickly to our requests. She gave us a restaurant guide to the Shunde area when we had no idea where to go. The house keeper FangXuJun also did a great job throughout our 4-night stay. Breakfast was ok. We accidentally left behind a mobile phone charger-line and guess it's Fang who found it and sent it to the conceirge for us to collect. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

Excellent service and nice experience. I stayed four days and it's easy to use the facility in the hotel. Very helpful staffs and comfortable stay. Highly recommended for those travel for business or for personal. Family friendly hotel as well.

Rooms were clean and comfy

There was nobody in the entire hotel who speaks English and I was lucky to travel with my colleague from HK who speaks the local language otherwise was unable to order food, drinks and answers on my Questions. I saw many other foreign guests struggling and unable to order drinks and food. I find it amazing that an international Hotel has no English speaking staff and next time will not book this hotel anymore.

Stayed in a suite with free upgrade due to status. Great room, although location is in a quiet area. There are a row of coffee shops & restaurants across the road though no 7/11 or similar close by. Breakfast is decent, not 5 star quality but fresh rice rolls was really good. It did get busy at 9am, club bfast v quiet but also v limited bfast

Amazing huge hotel with big drive in and big lobby. Friendly staff. If possible, take rooms on top floors, as then you have opportunity for using a business lobby on top, where yoi can work, drink for free, have also a brrakfast. A bit less to offer as breakfast on the ground floor, but still great. You can also check out here on the top. More peacefull, less people.

Great place to stay! Good tidy rooms and friendly staff. Located amongst great parks alongside the river. Shops and transport options a short walk away. Restaurant has a good selection of all types of food. Could do with a refresh in places but a comfortable stay

Everything is designed as it must be, very calm and peaceful. Breakfast was good but mostly Chinese food. The beds are comfortable and the river view is so nice. Crystal clear and helpful staff. I am sure it would be my choice in the next visits.

Staff where good as they managed to serve me a drink when the bar closed earlier than they planed.

Overall it's a great stay in this hotel with its convenient location next to the river while you can take a really nice walk after dinner

I have stayed at least once a year at the Sheraton Shunde since 2019 for business. It is always a great experience from the checkin to the checkout. Personnel is super friendly and efficient. Room are spacious, bed are comfortable. The gym and the swimming pool are great.
