Dusche in der Badewanne mit Vorhang. Einzeldusche wäre mir lieber. Badewanne braucht kein Mensch in so einem Land. Die Guckfenster vom Waschraum zur Toilette.

This place is great spread over a large property,quiet,comfortable 2 big pools ,be great for kids us big kids loved it,good gym there to work off those huge awesome breakfasts,the staff were just great ,helpfull and friendly. Will stay there again

Por decir algo, la ducha/bañera necesitaría una cierta renovación, y estaría bien tener algo más de luz artificial en la habitación.

Craft activities at Centara are so fun! Girls from stuff are amazing: friendly, helpful, sweet! The best! Lots of varieties were suggested so we did figure painting, banana leaves hat craft, mosaic, gel candles, and looking forward for something else cause we have another several days here All goods we did were packed perfectly for further transportation, which is pretty thoughtful 😊 Thanks for perfect service and communication!

Very traditional Thai, if you want to get that style. The grounds are very tropical and great location to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Kids pool area with slide, gym and staff friendly

I’ve stayed at this hotel every time I visit Koh Chang, but unfortunately this recent stay was very disappointing. We stayed in the Deluxe Cabana room with the outdoor shower. I honestly don’t think the room was cleaned properly. The furniture, wardrobe, bathtub, shower curtain, and even the window blinds were covered in dust, which immediately made the room feel neglected and unhygienic. The hot water situation was also frustrating. There was no proper hot shower unless you drained the bathtub for around 15 minutes first before the hot water finally started working. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel charging premium prices. Breakfast was another letdown. The food was tasteless, repetitive, and far below the standard you would expect from a quality hotel. The breakfast area itself felt very disorganised, and the staff clearly need better training and management. If Centara Hotels & Resorts considers this property to be a 4- or 5-star hotel, I would personally rate it closer to 2 stars. The hotel feels very old, tired, and poorly maintained. Paying top prices for this level of quality and service is extremely disappointing. It honestly makes me question what the standards are like at other Centara Hotels & Resorts properties.

I had such a wonderful stay at Centara Koh Chang. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature — it truly feels like staying in the middle of a tropical forest. The atmosphere is so fresh, relaxing, and calming. All of the staff were very warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and honestly, there’s no need to go outside because the resort has everything you need. It was a perfect place to relax and recharge. I would definitely love to come back again!

The rooms were really stunning for such amazing value! It was also conveniently located a short walk from town or you could rent a scooter on site.

The restaurant for dinner wasn't exceptional for the price the food was. The gym was also so warm with no A/C we couldn't use it.

We are long time members of the Centara group and this might be their worst hotel… The hotel is very old and outdated… We had 3 rooms - ours was stink and dirty - other 2 rooms were just old…. Reception was slow and not friendly while other service staff were nice… Breakfast is ok… Beach in general - Klong Prao beach is not nice and rocky. Pool is nice. Price value is reasonable

The resort is somewhat outdated. The pools could do with a good clean. The bathrooms had mould. There was a heavy odour of what we thought was sewerage throughout the resort.

Die Anlage ist leider stark in die Jahre gekommen. Mehrere Holzbretter am Boden waren beschädigt, teilweise mit Löchern, und viele Schrauben standen nach oben – eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr. Unser sechsjähriger Sohn ist am Poolrand mit dem Fuss in ein Loch in einem Holzbrett getreten und hat sich dabei leicht verletzt.

Great hotel in a very central location. The rooms are a bit outdated but they still have charm. Very friendly staff.

Terrible experience at Centara Tropicana on Koh Chang. We’ve already been waiting for check-in for an hour, and it’s not even that busy. The staff keeps apologizing and saying the rooms aren’t ready because of late check-outs. Seriously? How is that my problem? This is absolutely unacceptable. This has already ruined the rest of our stay

Really disappointed. We came today and still waiting for check in 😭 now is 16.20, reception say - we had too many late check out today! And our family can not to get the room at 16.20!!! We have kids, we drive many hours. Reception is very friendly, and say that they are sorry, but those sorry do not make we the rest.

Strand sehr gut, Zimmer Groß und Geräumig (219), Bein Frühstück gab es letztes Jahr etwas mehr Auswahl. Ich liebe die Thai Suppe zum Frühstück und den Thai Kaffee

Lage direkt am Strand. Traumhafter Garten. Fantastisches, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Außergewöhnlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Einige Dinge gehörten mal wieder renoviert. Dächer z. B., besonders das Restaurant. Preise etwas zu hoch. Trotzdem würden wir sofort wieder buchen.

Eftersom vi reste med två små barn så tyckte vi extra mycket om poolen med rutschkana samt att området var så stort, fanns mycket att utforska. Vi reste med både små barn och två pensionärer, det passade alla oss jättebra. Det var även gångavstånd till huvudgatan där det finns några bra restauranger och butiker.

Air-condition fläkten på rummet var ganska högljudd.

Wir hatten cabana ocean view gebucht ubd vorab bezahlt. 1. Der in der beschreibung angegebene whirlpool gibt es nicht. 2. Als wir zum zimmer gebracht wurden wurde uns nitgeteilt das die klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Daraufhin wollten wir ein anderes zimmer was nicht moeglich war.man brachte ein portables klimageraet was mehr laerm als kaelte lieferte. Man brauchte 3 tage um die vorhandene klimaanlage zu reparieren. 3. I'm ganzen zimmer gibt es nur 2 steckdose wobei die eine vom klimageraet belegt war.

Abgewohnt. Nicht wirklich sauber. Zimmerservice mit kleinen schwächen. Renovierung wäre im ganzen Hotelbereich mal notwendig.

Alles Super, das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Super schön im grünen eingebettet. Wir würden wieder kommen. Das Personal war stehts sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Die Bungalows sind super geräumig und erfüllte unsere Erwartungen.

Die Liegestühle sind unbequem, die Matrazen sollten weicher sein. Auch die Betten waren uns eher zu hart. Das Restaurant ist nicht so gut und viel zu teuer, schade da es eine Top Lage hätte. Das Personal ist jedoch super freundlich.

Das Resort, die Architektur in Kombination mit der Natur einfach super schön. Wir hatten ein riesen Bungalow, super riesen Bett, eine Aussendusche und es war mega geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstücks-Büffet war super und vor allem das Personal. Alle waren stets bemüht, konnten gutes Englisch.

A klimaberendezés elképesztően zajos, csak füldugóval lehetett aludni. A kültéri egységet ki is kellett cserélni, mert elviselhetetlen zajos, zörgő, elavult, rozsdás volt. Ez sajnos több bungallónál így volt. A szobában erős dohos szag volt végig. A reggeli egyhangú, európaiaknak nem való csípős curry, mizó leves stb., így maradt a tojás, minden egyes nap némi zöldséggel. Unalmas, gyenge választék. A partot olcsó szétrohadt műanyag zsákokkal védik a hullámoktól, mely elég lehangoló látvány volt a pálmafák alatt. Szomszéd hotelek megoldották másképp. A napozó ágyak matracai koszosak, foltosak voltak, elég gusztustalan némelyik.

Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä sijainti rannalla. Viihtyisä ympäristö. Huone oli hyvä.

Hotellin ravintola erittäin kallis, mutta rannan molemmin puolin löytyy kivoja paikkoja, joissa tavalliset hinnat.

Unterkunft deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, müsste dringend saniert werden. Publikum ist auch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Restaurant sehr teuer, Frühstück sehr (!) übersichtlich.

It's not the worst but it's certainly not at all great. The positives, The location is good and it's very easy to walk onto the beach and find places to drink and eat (more on that in a minute). Great views for sunset. WiFi was decent quality. Most of the staff were very lovely and friendly. The negatives, The restaurant food isn't good, breakfast is poor for a hotel of this size. The lunch and dinner options are hugely expensive especially when you consider the quality you can get just by getting out of the resort. Drinks are poor too unless you're having a draught or bottled Chang. A cocktail or a g&t are not at all good and extremely overpriced. The baht booster sounds like a great scheme but it's pointless, just leave the resort and get better food and drink for much less. Keep your money in your wallet. The booster also isn't valid at the specific times during the day when you're likely wanting to eat and drink, 13:00-14:00 and 16:00-18:00. Why not? The pool, it's chilly but you get used to it but the towel issue needs to be sorted. We watched on multiple days a couple who had put a towel down to 'reserve' a sunbed not appear for 3 - 5 hours and on a couple of occasions they turned up for 10 minutes and then disappeared again. This meant some good location sunbeds were unavailable for effectively the whole day due to some selfish guests. This issue needs better management. The cabana room we had was a good size but the wood was in need of repair, the Aircon wasn't remote so you had to get out of bed to change it which isn't fun in 2026 when every other hotel had a remote control.

You cant find better Resort than This! Everything was perfect, we extend for another few days because was too good there!!!

We had great time in the resort. Workers are super kind (best one is SHEIN). Hotel is very clean and confortable; great the position with the restaurant just right the beach. Beautiful the pool immediately close to the beach. Room was also very clean.

From manager Dao to trainee SomSom, the entire team showed outstanding professionalism, kindness and genuine warmth. Special thanks to Bas, Sky, Shein and Sannie for making my stay truly exceptional. My original plan was to stay for two days, but thanks to them I ended up staying six days — which says everything. Congratulations as well to the Human Resources department for the excellent staff selection. This group of young professionals has made my stay at Centara one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Beyond the staff, the hotel itself is spectacular: beautiful facilities, excellent breakfast, great amenities, very comfortable rooms and an outstanding housekeeping service. Everything is perfectly taken care of. Centara is definitely an excellent choice in Koh Chang, and the GSA team plays a key role in making the experience so special. From the very first moment, you are welcomed with a smile — and that is truly priceless.

Very nice resort on the beach. We had a Cabana garden view, big room near the beach pool and sea. Staff was very friendly all the time, breakfast fine. There were theme evenings with buffet also. I can recommend this place to everybody.

The room was very nice and spacious. Happy hours good. Great to watch the sunset on the beach with discount drinks! Plenty of sun lounges. There are many good restaurants to the left on the beach. 2 good pools.

There are 2 showers, one outside and cold, one over a bath and the shower head is chest height. A bit of a walk to the main road, a shuttle would be nice! Very hard to swim in the ocean due to shallowness. Most massage places around the Main Street had no one sitting outside of them.

Obwohl man eine karte hatte mit „my green day“ die man vor die tür hängen konnte und somit einen gratis drink bekam, hatten sie dass mit den dusch- und pooltüchern nicht im griff! Entweder man hatte zuviele oder gar keine!

We booked a beach villa for six people (Room 239), but upon arrival it was obvious that the villa only accommodates a maximum of four. After lengthy discussions, we were unexpectedly given an additional villa at no extra cost, which at least solved the sleeping situation. Unfortunately, the hotel is in very poor condition. Wood is rotting, fabrics are torn and worn, and during my twelve trips to Thailand I have never experienced so many insect bites. We had ants and mosquitoes in our room, and there was often a strong sewage smell coming from the toilets. We also found cigarette butts in the shower. We tried several times to book spa treatments, but the appointment times were constantly changed, so it never happened. Breakfast was of very low quality and lacked flavor, and the restaurant food was a complete disaster. The bar service was unacceptable. The bar staff, especially the young, slim guy, was bad at making drinks, careless when serving them, and rarely even said hello. During our ten-day stay, it felt like almost no staff greeted us at all. We repeatedly requested a refund in order to change hotels, but this was refused, forcing us to book another hotel just to be able to shower properly and get some sleep. In our opinion, the hotel should have allowed us to check out immediately when it was clear that the accommodation did not match what we had booked. Positive notes: The hotel is located directly on the beach, and there are several restaurants within a 10–15 minute walk. The massage was excellent — 600 baht for one hour and worth every baht. The reception manager was polite and professional, even though no refund was given. I sincerely hope that Centara head office reviews our case and refunds our money. This stay was not worth a single baht, and I would neither return to nor recommend this hotel to anyone!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location cannot be better. The beach is stunning, the grounds of the hotel gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious The staff were attentive, kind, helpful I would love to be back!

The beds could be a bit better, and we needed to request softer pillows, but this wasn’t something that spoiled our stay. The prices at the restaurant even after their ‘special offers and happy hours’ are still steep compared to the hotel next door or the restaurants along the beach.

Wir waren schon das zweite Mal hier und lieben den wunderschönen tropischen Garten, der mit viel Hingabe gepflegt wird und die Lage am Strand, der auch sehr schön ist. Sogar Rauchverbot am Strand. Gutes Fitnessstudio.

Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt, mussten das Zimmer wechseln, da die AC defekt war und das Zimmer sehr muffig war.

朝食は種類が多く、美味しく、のんびりと食事が出来た。 ロケーションが良く、良い雰囲気。

部屋の外にあるシャワーが付いているが、外から直接行ければ使い勝手が良いが、部屋からしか行けないので使う事は無かった。また、無駄なスペースがあり勿体無いと感じた。 アメニティで綿棒・コットン・爪ヤスリがセットになっているが、使うのは綿棒だけで他は捨ててしまうだけなので勿体無い。
