The rooms and the atmosphere is good but the security here is awful they are literally trying to find any reason to stop or kick someone out somehow a small purse same size as my bag is allowed but not the bag what kind of sexist thing is that only allowing women to carry bags and only women get free drinks night
The Stay and Play was great, went to see the Bands at Rawhide Lacey Rashea played, Jon Kinsey the drummer, rocks
Perfect location close to outlet mall … walking distance or shuttle to the outlet mall.
I recently stayed in a suite at Gila River Resorts & Casinos and it was an absolute five-star experience from start to finish. The suite was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless. The modern décor, plush bedding, and floor-to-ceiling windows made it feel both luxurious and comfortable. The amenities were top-notch — from the oversized bathroom and soaking tub to the separate living area that was perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Every detail felt thoughtfully done. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire stay seamless. Between the great dining options, lively casino atmosphere, and relaxing vibe of the suite, it truly felt like a getaway. I can’t wait to come back — highly recommend upgrading to a suite for the full experience!
I recently stayed at the Gila River Resorts- Wild Horse Pass and was blown away by the hospitality. One of the biggest highlights is it's a non-smoking casino which makes such a difference. It's also convenient to get to as it's only about 15 minutes from the airport. The resort has a variety of food and things to do including a spa! What truly sets it apart is the friendliness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend it for a business destination as it has great meeting space or just a fun girls weekend.
Nice rooms, friendly front desk. Toilet broken and took a while to fix properly. Missing item from room service. They did not make up my room today (a Saturday). But, less expensive than the nearby Sheraton Wild Horse Pass.
I went into the show with high expectations, but it was a major disappointment from start to finish. Numerous teleprompters were positioned along the front of the stage, creating a noticeable barrier between the artist and the audience and making the whole performance feel detached and impersonal. The singing was painfully off-key and at times barely resembled singing at all—it sounded more like he was speaking the lyrics rather than performing them. On multiple occasions, he snapped at the band, sharply pointing out mistakes and forcing them to restart songs, which made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. Despite attempting to move around the stage, his stiff, stout presence made the effort feel awkward and strained. He even struggled to bend down to pick up gifts from fans. While it’s admirable to still be performing at 90, the reality is that he no longer seems capable of delivering a quality show. The overall impression was one of self-absorption, with a narcissistic attitude toward the audience that made the entire experience feel disappointing and regrettable.
Nestled away in a quiet secluded location with great Mountain View’s - request sunrise tower for that perfect sunrise! Great and attentive staff
A wonderful experience. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Beautiful hotel and meeting space. Steakhouse is excellent with fabulous views. Highly recommend!
We were immediately greeted by the friendly and smiling valet staff who helped us with our luggage, golf clubs and parking.
Fun time. Hot machines. Free room. Free play. Free food. Nice room. Dealers super helpful and nice. Beautiful pool area.
Loved the tables and the show, unfortunately my bartender named Olivia served so many of her friends at the exclusion of the very long line . 45 minutes to get a glass of wine? She ignored the line for her friends.I will not be back to this casino.
I've always loved the quality of customer service. I sleep soundly, the food is SSSOOO GOOD, and the attention to my wants and needs is unmatched.
Amazing crisp and clean hotel with awesome amenities. Very friendly staff from Valet thru Registration including the room attendants. Here for work but coming back with family!!!!!
FANTASTIC place. GREAT staff and fast check-in.. Loved that the rooms were in the front of the building; you didn't have to walk through a noisy casino. Sometimes that's a little much late at night. Gorgeous rooms, fully appointed, and felt a bit luxurious. The Pool was sensational, so big and connected to a hot tub, it felt like a spa out there. Gorgeous.. Beautiful theatre as well..
great place for a getaway! we will recommend this resort at chandler az. we enjoyed our 2 nights stay, great food, music and staff. overall, we will go back.
Awesome place to visit
Excelent
Room, pool were fine. Casino as expected. Meals however were awful. The prime steakhouse was overpriced, everything alacart. Our steaks were cold and overcooked. The Asian restaurant equally bad food, the firecracker chicken tough, tiny chicken pieces and no flavor.
Clean room with a comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Ling and Louis's food was beyond excellent 👌 Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful and relaxing.
Room excellent!
The room was great, soft firm mattress, clean restroom. Shopping outlets minutes away.
Room & view of desert/mountains was fantastic. Very quiet & clean. Two pools to select from, along with drink & beverage service make this a 5 Star Resort!
Nice
The pool was Nice and casino was great!
Parking, valet was great. Entrance, calm but wild.. Check-in simple and quick. Sweet price for tower room. Room big, clean... beautiful. Staff for event was incredible! Very attentive, friendly, informative, and professional. Will definitely stay here again!
Overall Great place as always….but Housekeeping was banging on the door at 11am saying I was going to be charged a fee even though I got a late checkout. I was already pretty much ready to leave so I just left but not the best feeling after all I spent there in the casino. Bummer to end on a low note.
I am a disabled vet and slow at moving. When I was told that check out was at 11:AM, I informed the clerk that I needed a bit longer to get ready and asked if they could extend the check out to 12, her respond was no unless I was willing to pay an extra fee for staying late. I think that this is a disrespect to disabled vets individuals. Shame on the casino's administration
Enjoyed our one night during the dust & thunder & lightning storm. We are truckers & we love to stay at Gila River if a delivery takes us past Gila River.
I like how friendly and professional the staff was. I attended this establishment for a work trip, however I will be back for vacation.
When I arrived, the valet did not even ask to unload my luggage from my vehicle. I had to do it myself, which is totally unacceptable. I still gave him a generous tip for doing nothing to assist me.
Great staff wins are great
Walls are about as thick as toilet paper; we can hear every breath our neighbors take. The kids playing and screaming right next door is fun for us too!
The room was warm and didn’t cool down. We didn’t even stay. We checked out early and just went home instead.
Clean room, nice view, and great customer service. The housekeeping ladies were very accommodating and gave me extra shampoo, soaps, conditioner.
Very clean
Clean room and great pool! Enjoyed the fantastic steakhouse Prime for the 1st time and the meat was so tender it melted like butter in your mouth! Room service was prompt, bed was comfortable and great choice of slot machines!
I was unhappy due to they weren’t able to serve frozen margaritas
Very nice place, only thing was in room dining was weak, room does not have any free water.
The stay was great. I was very comfortable. I did add an extra for luxury pillows and I don't think I received them but I still slept good. Loved my stay.
We have always had little issues with the rooms or the service on the resort side but brushed it off because we get rooms for free. But this last stay was it for us. We got 4 free nights and booked an upgraded room (paid the difference) for a corner suite. Room is nice. Weirdly appointed because of it being on a corner but it’s good sized. Day one we arrived and went down to the casino which we LOVE. Friendly staff. And we have always been pretty lucky there. Grabbed quick dinner at the food court (burgers, yum) and decided to head to the pool around 6:30pm. We always go to the serenity pool which is 21 plus since we are older and just looking for quiet. Immediately noticed the entire pool deck was a disaster. Old food and drinks everywhere. Birds picking at all the old nachos and left over sandwich bits. This meant food on just about every lounger and literally 50 old drink cups full of bugs. Towels strewn about and all the sitting areas a mess. We found a spot to clean off and sit and entered the pool. After a few minutes I decided to go use the spa. Turn the dial to start the Jets and nothing happened. Must be out of order. But I decided to sit in it anyway for a little bit. With a few minutes two ladies showed up with two toddlers and joined me in the hot tub. First of all toddlers should never be in a hot tub but they certainly shouldn’t be in one that’s marked 21 and over. So much for relaxing. After this I decided to address the issue with the front desk. I’ll let them know what was going on. Someone from security came out and asked the women to use the all ages area which they did. No one addressed the mess and we went back to our rooms. The next day was to be an exciting day because it was my birthday and my wife purchased a cabana for the day in the serenity pool area. It was scheduled for 11 o’clock but we decided to head down at 10:30 to swim for a little. When I entered the pool area I could not believe my eyes. All the same mess from the night before and even more! Nobody had cleaned anything. Even though we weren’t due to Start using the cabana until 11 o’clock we went over and peaked in to find french fries straw wrappers and other junk strewn about the floor. These cabanas are not cheap they’re $350 a day. We would expect much better. This time my wife went to the front desk and let them know what was going on. About 15 minutes later to maintenance people came out and started cleaning up the pool area. They were very nice but did let us know this was not their job. They said there is a pool staff that is supposed to take care of cleaning and maintaining the area. The address the pool area but did not clean the cabana. Just before 11 someone showed up from the cabana team to start setting them up. This did not include cleaning of any kind. This was them bringing us buckets of ice waters and letting us know that a waitress would be around for us. It took a little while but someone finally came to take our drink orders and we let them know what was going on. They couldn’t care less. Another group showed up for their cabana and let us know they were told it was going to be a sold out day for all the cabanas. Which was fine. That is until people started showing up with kids! Ranging in ages from one up to 15. 10 or 12 of them. Before I even got a chance to say anything one of the other groups that had a cabana went to the weight staff and let them know that this was not acceptable. The security person came down spoke to them but did nothing to rectify the situation. We decided we were leaving and we’re not going to pay for the cabana. I spoke to a manager and let them know and we left. Someone reached out to me via email to ask me what happened. I explained to them in detail just like this exactly what happened and received no response. I know this isn’t the Las Vegas strip but if you’re gonna charge people these prices you should at least Have Good service in a clean area.
.
Great service
Two problems. We had a fire alarm go off (which is fine) BUT when it was over we were told its over and then five minutes later awakened again to be told by another voice that it was over. I did not get back to sleep for three hours. Need a place to sit WITHOUT music blaring. I sat on cigarette bench as only quiet place outdoors.
Every one was so nice and the pool was amazing.
Great restaurant and beautiful hotel.
Easily accessible had a lot of food options. Staff was friendly
Fantastic.
Everything was so beautiful and sooo clean!! Great staff met amazing people! Can't wait to come back
When they say "You Do You", they mean it. It is my favorite resort in the Valley.
Fantastic place all the way around! Loved it!
.
Was expecting more for a resort with a resort fee. Food was just OK. Pools were very warm & busy. Price was high and property needs updating.
Everything great
Awesome!
It was great, staff were amazing and food was delicious! Thank you
We booked Wild Horse Pass for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway after my heart surgery, but left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The Friday night Kool & the Gang concert was great, but the resort’s atmosphere overall felt more like a nightclub than a peaceful retreat. Our pool day was ruined when we learned, after arrival and check in, that the pool would close early for a loud DJ party. Worse, our long-anticipated dinner at PRIME was ruined by a loud DJ in the restaurant, inattentive seating next to a loud table, and a lack of dress code enforcement. We left without dining. This resort now seems focused on a younger, party-focused crowd, which wasn’t what we expected or wanted.
I do NOT recommend this hotel if you value customer service. The front staff are rude and inconsiderate. And just to top it off, so is the management. We booked a room for my birthday and had no idea that there was a huge pool party. I was not interested in a pool party with a “crunk” music style. They closed both pools at 2pm. My husband called to inquire about early check-in because we wanted a full day at the pool and they said no problem. If your room isn’t ready, enjoy the pool and check your bags with our valet. No mention of an early closure of the pool. On my clear disappointment at check-in, we got no sympathy. Zero. None. She tried to guilt me about going to a 3rd party site for booking. They booked us a room overlooking the pool so we had crunk music blaring so loud until 11:30 that we had the TV on at almost full volume. We asked a manger to call us so we could vent but she didn’t care either and tried to make us feel guilty for using Hotels.com. I find it so difficult to think that 1.) the hotel couldn’t message guests with bookings that evening to let them know, 2.) have some empathy for us seniors who don’t want that atmosphere, and 3.) have some pride of customer service to acknowledge our complaints and help us think they care. I will never go back there. The room was dirty, the TV unplugged so we thought it was broke, the toiletries weren’t stocked, one of two power cords was shut off so my husband’s phone didn’t charge, and they weren’t friendly.
Great hotel.
My family and I had a lovely stay, room was clean and the outlet is not far from hotel.
Booked the trip for my parents for a concert and so they can get away for a day and night. They had an amazing time
Very nice place to stay, very clean. But there was not a fan in the bathroom, and you really can’t adjust the temp of the room.
Super fast check in friendly staff and clean
I paid $85 extra to upgrade to a room that opens to the pool, I had a 9 yr old with me which was indicated in the reservation. 3 security guards scolded my daughter for being in the pool w/ my aunt and father. Then a waitress came over, same thing.. never asked if anyone wanted anything… just that my child was not allowed in the pool because it was an adult only pool. The sign at the pool says “under 16 must be accompanied by an adult” it says nothing about an adult only pool. There is another pool on the opposite side from our room that kids are allowed. I did not pay extra to be close to a pool that we were not allowed to be in. There were a total of 9 people including the 4 of us. The other guests couldn’t believe they were telling her to get out. My aunt got the manager and she finally conceded if no one complained she could stay. No one complained. The other adults in the pool (strangers) all said they had no issues with her being there. If they want to have an adult only pool it should be clearly marked, not just one movable sign that was at the other end nowhere visible or near where our entrance to the pool was.
Property was nice enough but the casino takes a lot more than they give. The prices are not so reasonable there are no complimentary drinks while playing or anything. It’s a takers resort.
We specifically chose this hotel for their pool party reputation and the music at the pool was so low you could barely hear it. Bars didn't have High Noon which is fine but also didn't have cranberry or pineapple to mix with Tito's. What was supposed to be a fun time for my husband's b day put us to sleep after the pool and losing at slots for hours.
Great hotel! Very clean and spacious!
Staff was very helpful casino was fun pool was nice
Great place to stay, it has it all. Casino, good food, stores near by. The pool is great. Always look forward to staying here. I would always reccomend anyone to stay here. Friendly staff and great ammenities
One of the BEST perks is the ability to get water at the front desk at all times. That is very needed in the desert!
Arrived for a show being put on inside the casino, so stayed overnight everything g was excellent except burning hot concrete around the pool. If you didn’t use shoes or flip flops you would burn your feet!
Concert venue is great. Staff always shows up from the valet to bartneders and this is an awesome venue to see a comcert. Will be back again and again.
Excellent with friendly staff.
Great clean property. Even the pool area
Nice time
The front desk staff world class. John was helpful and knowledgeable all things Wildhorse. The gal saturday morning was very accommodating, I'm sorry i didn't get her name. Where the service lacked was the bar between the hotel and casino across from showroom. The bartender went by 3xs without acknowledgement another patron also said that as well. Had to ask for my tab 2xs
Adam at front desk is terrible in customer service, he insisted what i requested was not available, he didnt check, didn’t confirm Ten minutes later I asked another front desk and without hesitation she said what I wanted was AVAILABLE.
Clean
Plenty of parking and clean
Great property—like a little slice of Vegas!
Everything was perfect. Service food pool rooms. Loved our stay. Golf was great at Whirlwind!
Everything was fine until they charged me $25 for leaving the room at 11:30 instead of 11:00. I thought that was really bad business on their part. They could have explained to me that there is a charge if you go a minute passed checkout time!!!
My four day stay was relaxing. The staff and housekeeping were first rate. Shout out to Ivy and the front desk team. Check in was Quick and efficient. Prime was tasty. Love the robes have been upgraded. The snacks are a good addition. Can’t wait to see you next month.
Food was terrible
It is clean. It is just ok. The casino is just ok.
a
Rooms are always great and comfortable, the option of food is reasonable ,they have a great coffee shop Starbucks, and extremely big pastries especially for the price also fun slot machines to play and great entertainment always scheduled will make this my new hang out since I live in Tucson but prefer this casino they also have a small store that sells beautiful Native American items along with many snack's,soda’s ,gifts ,from Arizona area recommend highly if just needing a relaxing and you time also has a great outdoor pool area
Always a great time at Wild Horse Pass Casino and Resort. Thank to our host Angela Shanley who always goes above and beyond to make our stay great. My friends and I came down from northern Arizona home and it was a perfect getaway at Wild horse pass casino and resort, The food and service at Prime Steak House was excellent and they found out that my nephew was home on leave from the US Air Force and made is dinner extra special and time at WHP speacial, could not ask for a better last night in the US for him. Angela Shanley is amazing and I am so thankful to have her as our host and friend. Even on her days off Angela Shanley checks to make sure our stays are perfect. Also, great time at bet MGM.
The pre checkin process was so easy and convenient. The staff on property were so friendly and helpful. We saw a concert at the showroom - amazing venue! Highly recommend!
It was quiet
The staff at Wildhorse Pass was over the top, attentive and professional. A few days before arrival, I was sent a text message asking me if there was anything I needed that they could prepare for ahead of time. I did correspond back-and-forth regarding early check-in.. I also had some additional questions where the concert venue was going to be. They were absolutely wonderful in responding. I have been to several other casinos in the area and none of them have the customer service that Wildhorse Pass has. The front check-in staff was extremely efficient helpful and friendly, as well as all the other staff we encountered during our stay. The rooms were very nice and pool was lovely. They even have a serenity adult pool, which made it even better. I would definitely stay here again.
Everything was awesome with the exception of some unruly neighbors being loud and obnoxious, if I didn’t have my family with children I wouldn’t have minded, the neighbors were screaming vulgar language and screaming at one another which scared my grandkids. But other than that the stay was excellent.
We loved staying here! The pool with dj is awesome! Her music is great! The view at the roof top is fantastic! And of course food is always delicious:)
M
Really great resort. The room was fantastic balcony tower. Saw a great concert here at their showroom. Shula’s Prime restaurant good food too. Did not use pool but the area looked amazing. Would definitely come back. Keep those concerts coming!
Very nice staff
Getting a drink downstairs when it was busy was quite difficult and the bartenders were not the friendliest
Room was a bit smaller than I expected, but it was very clean. They clean the room daily. Comfortable beds. I will go back.
Great place!!
