The property location is awesome. it is very close to nature and it overlooks the bigger stretch of Vambanad lake. i would like to mention specially about Mr.Rafique from the reception desk that he is very cordial and nice human being. He is the go to person on the resort and he will help you in everything. All the staffs are very cordial and food is also very good. please abide by the rules of the property and please maintain silence.

The location was good. The stand out was the service. It made our stay pleasant and memorable. I would like to highlight Rafeeque. He was very polite, helpful and professional.

We had some issues with the AC. Make sure you check if the WiFi is working properly before it gets too late.Especially if you have apple devices.

Rafeeque was very helpful. Helped me book cab on the spot at early 5:30 in the morning. The entire resort was dreamy and beautiful 🥰✌️

The villa was stunning . Staff was very accommodating! Shout out to Rafeeque who really went above and beyond our expectations! Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort!

The behaviour of the whole team in the Abad.. special mention for Mr.Rafeeq and ms Gopika .The property is situated in a beautiful saroundings and very apt for family's..and very good scenic view around the property from check in to check out all faster done by Ms Gopika , She welcomed us and made the process very easy and fast , then she invited us to have a Onam sadya that was a big plus in our stay and she detailed every aspect and activities they have in this beautiful property.after her duty time is over here comes Mr. Rafeeq..he is a gem , we had a problem with their wifi and he set the personal property wifi to use ..and after placing the order for extra bed he called on phone and asked whether we want a matres or pillow extra , then in the morning he arranged a cab for our return journey.. every time he asked whether we r comfortable with the arrangements or not..a very friendly and.good behaviour guy..thanks for making our stay a memorable one..

The front office staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay, and the food was also very nice. A special thanks to Jancy from the front office, who was particularly kind and helpful. As we were recently married, the team surprised us with a complimentary cake, which made our stay even more special. Thank you so much to both the front office and kitchen teams for the lovely gesture. We really appreciated it and had a wonderful stay

The Location is perfect, the restaurant serving a wide range of fresh meals , and the warm welcoming and helpful team ( special mention to Rafik ) .

Our bedroom was very confortable and clean but we suggest you change the mattress, which was old and a bit hard.

Staffs were very cooperative. We had a good time.

Exceptional staff and nice place

The views from property is breathtaking during the monsoon: Vembanad lake at your doorstep, the rains and a being surrounded by nature genuinely refreshes you. Rooms were neat, clean and full of traditional Kerala charm. Bedding was ok - no complaints. Bathrooms :clean n functional. Recreational activities on site : Bicycles, Carrom board, Badminton, table tennis. Entertainment: Live soulful instrumental music played in the evenings Thankfully the heavy monsoon rains didn’t impact our stay and the longer route from Kottayam to the Kumarakom via Kallara was good and not waterlogged . The Kerala cuisine was absolutely delicious: authentic, fresh and prepared with real care. I didn’t try other items to be frank. The Pearl Spot /fish moilee and appam was my favorite. What made this stay truly exceptional was the **people.** The Front Desk personnel -Jansi, Rafeeque,, the GM -Sreejith, the Chef and every single staff member were warm, attentive and genuinely went out of their way to make our Mom’s bday celebration feel special and seen.

They only have one dining outlet. Having another option will give a variety for long stay guests.

The property location and ambience are great, well blended with nature and it was exotic especially in the rainy evening. Live instrumental music was good and could enjoy it on a rainy night. The front desk staff were excellent, courteous, ever ready to help and always presented with a pleasant smile. We would like to mention3 of them especially, Gopika, Rafeeq and Amal. They were exceptionally good. Food was mediocre. The beef steak and grilled chicken which we had for dinner were tasty, but not exceptional. The breakfast spread was very good. Abhijith, one of the chefs needs special mention for his helpful attitude. The room was good and comfortable, had a partially open bathroom which was great experience, especially in the Kerala monsoon. Overall, we loved the stay, short and sweet.....

Dinner was mediocre. Seafood seemed to be very good. But we chose meat and chicken steaks which were not that great. Probably, next time we would be trying grilled prawns:-) Breakfast spread was very good.....

Le site est beau et paisible. La piscine est très agréable. Nourriture de qualité et personnel très attentionné.

Durant la nuit, la pluie a inondé notre bungalow. Quelques activités supplémentaires seraient bienvenues car il n'y a pas grand chose à faire ( ex : yoga, volley-ball ). Quelques options continentales supplémentaires pourraîent proposées au petit-déjeuner ( ex : pancakes, yaourt etc).

The design of the place is great... You can see the lake and the pool from the open lobby... I loved that... The buffet was lovely too... With some good options

No body told us that we have to ask for room cleaning... It was annoying to come at the end of the day to see the garbage still full and sheets are untouched!!!!... Also, the toilet in the room has some old dark stains that should be removed by some strong cleaners...

Great location, amazing food, and wonderful service.

The only downside is the overwhelming amount of flies and mosquitoes in the evening. We couldn't even enjoy the outdoor space of our lake-view villa at night because of them.

In all we had a wonderful stay at Abad. The staff were fantastic, from the reception, house keeping and restaurant. They helped with all sort of things, from checking that the food wasn't too spicy for us, to helping with my Sangeeth outfit, ordering auto rickshaws etc. Could not have done more. The room was very good and big enough for an extra bed for our adult son. We got a room with lake view which was much appreciated.

If it wasn't for the World Cup I probably wouldn't have thought about it, but the TV was a bit small for the size of the room.

The stay was beautiful and serene. As we had our flight early in the morning. They packed us sandwiches and muffins for the go. That gesture meant so much ❤️

One area that could be improved is the furniture, as some pieces feel dated and could benefit from refurbishment or modernization. overall, the great food, warm atmosphere, and scenic setting make for a very enjoyable stay.

The front desk staff were exceptionally good.Ms.Gopika took us through the check in process politely and in a breeze. Stay was good and geriatric friendly as I was travelling with my aged parents,family & kids.The chef in charge was kind enough to keep tables booked for the dinner and served a sumptuous dinner. Keep up the good work.

Everything was fine at the accommodation. But I tried to get help with taxi booking before arrival and the person who replied to messages at booking dot com app was not helpful at all. I was pretty stressed as they were reluctant to help me.

The staff was extremely helpful, the property is at a scenic location. The property was clean and rooms were very nice.

The buffet dinner could have been better. There is no sauna/jacuzzi etc which is typical for a 4* hotel

The resort was below average and felt over priced. I stayed on 19/05/26 with my family of 7 members. The rooms were ok. But in night there is a lot of small pests everywhere and even in the restaurant. It was hard to keep them away from food. The pool was nice. Staff were nice. Location average. I will not recommend

The only area that needs better designing is the shower area that somehow has you feel a little insecure on account of the transparent net and the hot water is not as warm as the service

It was open and friendly. Rooms were individual chalets. Mine overlooked the water.

Once the got me the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially sanil on reception. It was great that I could use their Abud Turtle Beach facilities for free.
