We are happy with our stay even just 1 night, the one in receptionist, I’m sorry I forgot his name, but his english is excellent (which is rare to find) he’s very helpful and kind. The hotel arranged our shuttle to bus station even we noticed them in a short time. Best service ever!!! Thank you so much🙏

The staff were amazing and the facilities were great. It was also central to the ski resorts.

It's advertised as ski-in/ski-out. I was there in spring, but I highly doubt you could ski up to the accommodation in winter as there are multiple roads you would have to cross.

Location and facilities

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The shuttle pick up is efficient and we were able to get from the station to the hotel with ease. The rooms are spacious with clean bathrooms, and the lockers for skis / snowboards were helpful.

The property is a bit far from restaurants in the evening (10-15 minute walk in the snow) so be prepared to use a taxi or walk. Breakfast was ok, but could do with some more western options and allergy information.

The staff were incredibly helpful from way before our arrival helping us plan the best route there from Tokyo and even afterwards helping me in finding a missing item I left on a bus in the area. They went above and beyond. The rooms were spacious, quiet and clean and they had shuttles to the ski lifts which were very easy to use and not too far from the town for restaurants.

The beds were a bit hard however I’ve found this everywhere in Japan so this may just be my problem. The restaurant didn’t have a huge choice and required preordering meal by 11am that day which wasn’t ideal. However breakfast was good.

We loved this hotel. Our room / suite was roomy and comfortable. The onsen was wonderful before and after a day of skiing. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The shuttle made it easy to get to the slopes and various mountains around Hakuba. The location was a 10 minute walk to “town” where there were many restaurants to choose from. The staff were helpful and warm.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for a three star hotel. The staff are lovely and the rooms overlooking the park are great (only a little dated). It’s great having the restaurants and shop on property. The lodge had yummy food and the shop had some great brands, including North Face. It was good having a laundry available to use onsite too.

We did the equipment rental at the hotel - all went smoothly and was convenient having the service there. However my husbands skis were so sticky he could face down the mountain head on and not move! He had to return them in the middle of the private lesson and get a replacement - wasting hundreds in lesson dollars. I also saw others having the same issue and instructors saying they had never seen it so bad before. I recommend asking for a fresh wax before hiring.

Great location down the street from Rythum for snow rental equipment and they pick up directly from hotel. Big room and very helpful staff, highly recommend when in Hakuba. They'll help call a taxi and provide ride service to and from bus station

Location is great for access to all the ski resorts - just a short drive.

Teenage boys wanted Netflix or at least an English movie channel but there was nothing.

Everything was so clean and well kept. Huge range of toiletries provided and amenities including free coffee and an ice machine. Daily housekeeping was also provided. Hotel breakfast was amazing and especially convenient for early mornings before hitting the slopes. To top it all off, all of the staff were extremely helpful with anything we asked of them, from ski gear rental to booking taxis on our behalf.

Bad value for money. No hotel own shuttle. Limited food options at only one restaurant. Staff generally good but one staff at the reception desk was not helpful and seemed clueless with things

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, good location, room size was great, hourly free ski shuttle bus picks up from the hotel, great buffet breakfast, ski hire from the hotel itself was super easy and they were great with changing boots. There were a number of places to eat nearby and I would recommended ‘The Pub’ for great variety and value for money (you can’t book and the wait was around half hour) Also recommend Morino Pizza delivery (order through WhatsApp and they deliver to your room in the hotel with cash or card payment via WhatsApp phone call - large and yummy pizzas)

The beds and pillows were very hard. Sleeping on top of a doona helped. Also the evening dining options in both the restaurant and Lodge were expensive but other dinning options were available nearby.

Love the hotel . Easy rental ski equipment.

Want more laundromat especially the drying machine

Location is good, and they provide food facilities like hot springs. You should try the spa, Lily is really good!

It’s setting and the helpful staff.

We bought Sunday brunch for friends who live nearby . We told them to arrive at 9 since we were told we could be there ( and getting good from the buffet ) until 10. At 9:40 they told us it would be over and began removing food . We had a toddler and 5 year old in our group and the parents had to tend to them which made it tough for them to get their food in that time . We had an ugly view from our window of the destruction of the earth with prep for new onsen.

This is an older hotel built before the Winter Olympics of 1998 (??). Tokyu has done an excellent job of remodeling and maintaining the facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

スキー場が近くにあり、雪の白馬三山もお部屋から見る事も出来、丁度桜満開。近隣の環境も抜群。 ホテルの従業員のサービスは、素晴らしく。温泉の温質も良いし、広い。お部屋も清潔で、とても良い休暇がとれました。リピーターとなっている。

Stayed here for a week for a late March ski holiday . The hotel is very comfortable and spacious. staff is very friendly and helpful . The small downside is the service and food options were limited maybe due to towards the end of season . But overall enjoy the staying a lot .

We had an amazing time at the Tokyu in Hakuba. Location is perfect for Happo One, the room was spacious and loved to have an Onsen at the end of a day skiing. The staff was excellent and very informative and organised a pick up from Hakuba station both on arrival and departure. At the hotel there is an automatic return for ski rental which was also very handy. The breakfast buffet was delicious and perfect for a day on the slopes. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we are keen to come back again other times. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel, we had a wonderful stay.

2 single beds in all rooms, we just pushed together they where very comfy.

Excellent and friendly staff, always eager to help with any questions. Shuttle is great. Loved that the ski rental shop is right in the hotel. I wish the hot springs was a bit bigger and had more amenities but it was a nice way to relax after a day of skiing. The bar and restaurant is not open during the day which we didn’t realize. All in all a great hotel though.

Had transfer buses running from the hotel each morning for snowboarding Ski rental and serprate entry from the hotel was easy Onsen was nice aswell

The hotel Onsens are amazing, the room was super clean and just perfect in every way. The staff were absolutely lovely and it is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at.

A little old-school style

The hotel is across the street from Rhythm Wadano, which was convenient for renting our skis and was the pick-up point for our day tour to the snow monkeys. The hotel must have been prestigious when it was built, the rooms are very clean and of a very good size with a large bathroom (with a separate room for the toilet), the lobby area is huge and there are 3 restaurants on site (one seems to have closed). The service standards reflect the prestige, too, with gentlemen supervisors making sure that each team abide by their high standards. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of food of good quality and preparation. The onsen was very clean and had an indoor and outdoor pool.

It is an old property, so some people would find it dated. Because it is very well maintained, I would say it's "vintage". We had a problem looking for where to have dinner. You need to reserve your table with the reception ahead of time and some nights, there was no available table for us. On our first night we made do with pizza at their bar. Luckily, we found a pub behind Rhythm Wadano across the street. And on Christmas eve, we scored a table at Mimi's Restaurant next door. The nearest convenience stores were in the middle of "town", a good 20-30 minutes walk away (in the snow).

Spacious, with good ski storage facilities. Outside Onsen is a must.

Limited shuttle bus access, staff not as helpful or accomodating as other places we stayed in Japan.

The property was beautiful and the rooms spacious, even with a 3rd bed added. The staff were fantastic.

We arrived and were told there was no room service and we had missed the cut off for booking the restaurant for that night. To get into the town or to another restaurant required a taxi, and there was really nothing much on site. We had our snowboard gear fitted at the hotel only to find out 2 of the boards weren’t waxed properly. The beds were extremely hard, like sleeping on an ensemble base without the mattress. The potential for the hotel is huge, but they have missed key opportunities, like being able to order a coffee and sit and watch the snow.

Loves the out door spa. See snow falling down as you soak in the hot water. The place is wonderful. Pricing is very reasnable.

Great hotel with great facilities. Free shuttles available to and from the slopes. Individual locker’s provided if you are bringing your own snowboards/skis. Drying room you can use. Self laundry/dryer facilities available to use. Onsen free to use after each day on the slope. We also booked a massage with Lily for last night and she was fantastic together with an aromatherapy treatment. They also provide Yamato Black cat service from the hotel so I can send your bulky snowbag straight to the airport so you don’t have to lug it around whilst you continue exploring other parts of Japan.
