NO VAYÁIS JAMÁS. Nuestra experiencia ha sido lamentable. Los bungalows están bastante deteriorados y necesitan una renovación urgente. Además, el chico de recepción estaba prácticamente todo el día en pijama, algo que da una imagen bastante poco profesional. Lo más lamentable de todo es que no nos hicieron la habitación, no nos cambiaron las sábanas, ni nos dejaron toallas limpias ni vasos para el café. También contratamos el desayuno en recepción y, aun así, tuvieron problemas para reconocerlo. Para colmo, tardaron unos 30 minutos en traer el desayuno. He estado cinco veces en Tailandia y puedo decir que este ha sido el peor hotel con diferencia de todos en los que me he alojado. Lamentable. 1/10. No lo recomendaría en absoluto.

The area is nice, the staff are kind and friendly. They didn't charge me yet... and we didnt stay. Room is okay.

The kitchen and restaurant so badly in disrepair completely unmanned,the decking needs redoing. The place needs a major refit and the staff hasn't been trained which is either a management or owner problem. The main pool was dirty the pool bar was non existent, the price is a total over charge, 300baht a night would be reasonable, if the site gets a major refurnished we would happily stay there. But right now its not in a good way at all. When we arrived my wife was unhappy then we saw the kitchens one messy and under equipped smelled badl, the restaurant didn't exist, the bathroom need a refit, its all just not good. So I took her some22where else to stay, then came back by about 6pm where the office was empty so I message the resorts what's app no answers so I let them know we won't stay and left the key in the key drop off wonder if they will complain i didnt pay because they couldnt take our payment when we arrived and no one answered my messages, haven't heard back from them.

Die Lage, der Pool vor der Tür, das Personal ist super nett. Smart TV .

Die abgenutzte Wohnung, Abfluss verstopft bzw. Kein Wasser da. Dusche läuft nicht ab sondern überflutet das Bad. Die Unterkunft hat Potenzial nur typisch Thai lassen sie es verkommmen.

At man hadde en hytte for seg selv var veldig fint. Det var fint ved stranden, så beliggenheten var fin med tanke på naturen. Enkelt å parkere scooter.

Frokosten er mangelfull så vi endte med å kjøpe ting som skinke for å ha med oss. Det var ikke renhold på rommet de første dagene. Ikke varmt vann i dusjen. Hotellet ligger langt fra alt, så du er nødt til å ha scooter eller bruke en del på taxi.

The facilities were not in acceptable condition for this type of booking. The private pool was not usable, and maintenance work was carried out inside the accommodation during the stay, which affected comfort, cleanliness, and privacy. The experience did not match what was advertised

J'ai eu la chance d'avoir la plus belle vue. Mais les autres je les plein.

Personnel incompétent. Les extérieurs à l' abondant . Le ménage n'est pas fait pendant plusieurs jours. Au qu'une propreté. Quand je suis arrivé piscine pas accessible. Et j'en passe.

Os funcionários antipáticos, sem saber gerir ou acolher os clientes. Reservei um quarto com uma pequena piscina privada e quando chegámos, tinha um palmo de água suja lá dentro. Não tínhamos água corrente nas torneiras. Havia buracos nas paredes e nada estava muito limpo. O pequeno almoço não era apropriado e cobraram-nos o dinheiro na mesma, depois de termos dito que não queríamos. Tentámos encontrar uma solução para mudar de quarto mas nada foi feito. Más condições nos acabamentos. Valeu pela ilha mas de resto, só problemas

Het bed was wel comfortabel om op te slapen.

Dit was echt niet normaal. De medewerkers zijn er bijna nooit ik heb er 3 dagen verbleven en alle 3 de dagen is mijn kamer niet opgeruimd en heb ik ook niet mijn 2 flessen water gekregen. Er was soms wel warm water en soms niet en de laatste 1.5 dag dat ik daar verbleef kleurde het water geel/bruin en uiteindelijk de laatste dag was er echt helemaal geen water meer. En kleurde het water van de toilet ook helemaal geel bruin. De zwembaden stonden leeg met allemaal troep erin. Er zaten allerlei kleine barsten en scheuren in de muren. Het enige wat comfortabel was dat was het bed daar was prima op te slapen. Verder was alles zeer slecht onderhouden. Ik heb meerdere keren vastgezeten in verschillende gevangenissen en elke gevangenis waar ik heb gezeten was nog beter dan dit verblijf. Zelfs in de gevangenis heb je schoon douche water.

Private pool was lovely the hotel shared pool was not useable and brown.. there was zero facilities nowhere is even buy supplies or water.

After viewing the property online through Expedia, it looked great when we arrived and we’re showing our room not so great anymore mould on every window inside and the frames bathroom mould all over the bathtub wouldn’t even bathe the dog in that tub. The grounds were in such disarray. I don’t think they’ve cleaned this place up in 10 years. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. I wish I could throw some pictures in here to show. We were told by the hotel after we left the first night that we would get a full refund hasn’t happened not happy never again.

In some respects it’s a perfect location. Lovely easy walk to a private beach. The bathroom in he bungalow I was in was old and neeeds ripping out and replacing. Through conversation many are the sales. It also states a restaurant, but this must have been closed over a year ago. There is a small roadside diner a 5 min walk away which is good. But you can’t relax with a beer watching the see as I assumed from the Expedia description: It feels the site is a poor reflection of its former glory. I imagine one it was amazing but has maybe changed hands or no longer being run very well. Such a sham as I truly has potential

What you see in the pictures is definitely not what you get. It is disgusting unkept facility. Nobody has taken care of this place for at least 10 years

Nous devions à partir de 15h, nous sommes arriver à 23h, sur les 3 chambres commandées avec vous, 2 n’étaient pas prêtes. Dont une insalubre et qui ne fermaient pas, une autre pas nettoyer et pour finir, nous avions demandé les chambres cotées à cotées et nous étions tous dispatches sur le site. On a mis 2 heures 30 à vouloir nous donner une autre chambre, j’ai du demander à la responsable de bien vouloir venir avec moi, pour qu’elle constate par elle-même, et à ce moment là, elle a vu et décider de nous changer 2 chambres sur le 3. La piscine n’étaient pas prêtes, elle étaient vertes pleines d’algue. Pas 2 piscines mais une piscine avec à proximité un petit bassin une extension de la première, mais rien n’était prêt, sauf ce matin à notre départ, elle était enfin nettoyer. Lendemain, nous constatons que la 3 eme chambre a elle accès au wifi contrairement aux 2 autres, mais la climatisation, ainsi que l’eau chaude ne fonctionne pas. Le surlendemain, toujours pas de clés pour la chambre qu’elle nous avait donné, jusqu’à départ ce jour, mais aussi pas d’eau chaude et pas d’internet. Il fallait aller chercher les femmes de chambres, car sinon notre chambre n’étaient pas nettoyés, et à chaque fois que nous évoquions les problèmes, on nous proposait de les régler le lendemain, ce qui n’était jamais fait. Sans parler de l’accueil déplorable, des fuites du toit dans les chambres jours de pluies, de la salle de bain ou l’eau fuit dès la baignoire et des wc…

Breakfast was not that bad

Our stay at The Bay Samui was extremely disappointing. We encountered numerous issues that completely ruined our vacation: 1. No WiFi or hot water in the room upon arrival. 2. For three days, the beach in front of the hotel was covered in garbage (plastic, shoes, debris), while nearby beaches were clean. 3. The hotel’s grounds were filthy, with garbage everywhere. 4. Room cleaning was inconsistent and only provided after repeated requests. 5. On New Year’s Eve, the electricity went out—no air-conditioning, unbearable heat, and mosquito bites all night. 6. No mosquito nets on the windows, which is standard in Thailand. 7. Window locks were broken, compromising security. 8. The private pool we paid for was non-functional for almost the entire stay. In addition, the hotel manager was extremely unprofessional and showed no understanding of how to welcome guests. She seemed unaware of what is important for people who traveled from another continent to spend their precious vacation days in her country. This was unacceptable for the price paid and far from the standards advertised. I do not recommend this property.

Sieht auf den Bilder deutlich besser aus als es ist. Ebenso hatten wir das 2 Tage lang nur kaltes Wasser und einen schmutzigen Pool.

O hotel estava totalmente descuidado , sem funcionários apenas uma gentil e jovem recepcionista quem tambem assumiu o papel de motorista de taxi na hora de eu ir embora... A tv nao funciona . A internet é cortada a noite. O hotel fica longe de tudo..eramos 2 o 3 clientes no maximo. Eu aluguei uma moto na chegada ainda bem. Restaurante fechado também. Carrisimo pra o que é.

Definitely not as advertised. Pictures looked amazing, but once there...Overgrown foliage everywhere, pools not maintained (not sure if individual's responsibility). The access to our unit is an ankle sprain waiting to happen. The stepping stones were hard to walk on, I can't imagine negotiating them at night! The room was ok, but outdated. An odd odour to the room as well. Definitely isolated from some of the shopping & cafes as well. We checked out within 30min of arrival, and got no refund. I definitely do not recommend this property.

The wifi was not working and asked them many times for help but did nothing

The staff were amazing, very friendly. The facilities were clean and the location was amazing.

The family that runs this is outstanding they made us a couple of family dishes that were not on the menu. Food is amazing! The bay itself is gorgeous. It’s out of town a ways so no shopping. Very spacious rooms with decks, some have pools. It needs some grounds work,but we love our stay. You can take a cab into town. There is also a store across the street that does laundry. Loved it here. You won’t find that care at a big resort. Keep in mind it’s not the Ritz but you’re not paying Ritz prices. Has all you need.

the front desk person was not qualified to do her job. No taxi except to pier. cannot get taxi down town. rental of motorcycle or scooter requires them to keep passport. I will never ever let someone have my passport to keep for a week.

Despite a charming and dedicated team, this post-covid hotel is closer to a ghost resort than a former 4-star establishment. With half of the abandoned bungalows with their greenish private swimming pools, a dump beach and a deserted terrace restaurant, you will absolutely have to rent a scooter to find your leisure elsewhere..

We didn't try the breakfast here.

The beach and pool were dirty and weren't maintained well. The private beach was a particular low point as it was full of rubbish. Would have loved to spend some time there but instead travelled to nearby, well maintained beaches. Really ruined the experience of staying at 'The Bay'. Being that we were there in January (high season) we would have expected that the place was ready for visitors but it felt unloved.

Overall I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. Special mention about the friendliness and assistance by Mr. Chalong at the reception desk.

Rooms were really comfortable and clean. Bathroom ok but tired, and grouting needs attention. Staff were really friendly and apologetic for a place that has come out of mothballs after covid.

Not at all like the description. No restaurant or bar. Second pool was a mosquito haven. Main pool was clean but loungers old, sodden and dirty. Whole site very tired and on need of updating.

The hotel manager, Air, was super friendly, welcoming and spoke very good English. She helped us arrange further traveling. All the staff were very helpful.

Skønt, fredeligt og hyggeligt ophold i 10 dage. Dog blev vi meget forundret da vi ankom, for vores reservation var forsvundet. Heldigvis havde vi vores bevis med og vi blev opgraderet, så alt endte på bedste vis. Området ligger ret afsides, så hvis man vil f.eks på en anden restaurant end den ene, der er på stedet, må man leje scooter for at komme lidt væk. Der er dog også fri transport til Chaweng Beach hver dag kl 11 og tilbage igen kl 17. Det er et sted vi absolut vil komme tilbage til, især når vi søger nogle dage i fred og ro.
