We verbleven hier met onze 3-jarige dochter. Het was echt perfect, ons leukste verblijf in Mexico! Het hotel heeft 2 zwembaden, 1 bij de kamer en 1 bij het strand. De sfeer is erg gezellig en je komt makkelijk in contact met andere gasten. Super ontbijt, hele vriendelijke medewerkers. Special thanks to Leonel, Lupita, Alexandra & all the rest off the staff :)

La posizione è meravigliosa, direttamente sul mare ma vicina al centro. La struttura è molto curata e accogliente, le camere spaziose. Colazione internazionale abbastanza curata. Beach bar con personale gentile.

Lo staff è stato accogliente e gentile tranne in reception dove i modi non sono stati altrettanto accoglienti. Unico difetto della camera fronte mare sono le tende scure che rendono la stanza buia, impossibile non tirarle perché sulla strada di passaggio.

El desayuno no ofrecía la variedad que esperábamos: tomates,quesos,embutidos, variedad en productos de panadería, el jugo de naranja artificial y desabrido..Cena de la primera noche, el plata que incluía fish and chips: la tempura era gomosa y los chips de procedencia congelada frias y crudas.

Es la segunda vez que me alojo en este hotel. Me encanta la ubicación cerca del centro pero a primera linea de mar. Entorno muy agradable, dos piscinas y la playa con las tumbonas y opción de sombra. Atardeceres fantásticos.

Excelente estancia! La ubicación es muy buena, la atención del personal impecable y las instalaciones muy cómodas y limpias. Sin duda regresaría.

Le ménage n’est pas parfait .

L’emplacement sur la plage est exceptionnel. L’hôtel est également à deux pas de toutes les boutiques et restaurants du centre-ville. Nous avions un appartement avec une cuisine, très grand, avec deux chambres et un autre coin avec des lits dans la pièce principale. Le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins . Les cocktails sont absolument délicieux! Nous n’avons pas testé le restaurant car il ferme très tôt.

La experiencia general en Holbox Dream fue excelente. Destaco totalmente la ubicación del hotel, ya que estar tan cerca del mar facilita relajarse a cualquier hora. La zona de la piscina es hermosa y cuenta con una vista privilegiada frente a la playa, perfecta para descansar al atardecer. Además, el servicio por parte del personal fue muy atento y amable en todo momento, y los desayunos estuvieron frescos, variados y muy bien servidos.

La verdad es que nos quedamos con ganas de más. Lo único negativo de la estancia fue habernos quedado muy poco tiempo y no disponer de más días para disfrutar al máximo de las instalaciones y del ambiente del hotel. Se nos hizo una estancia muy corta, así que definitivamente la próxima vez planificaremos un viaje más largo.

I lettini sono tutti molto vicini tra loro, e c'è poca elasticità nel check out ( volevano farci pagare un supplemento per un check out di 45 minuti tardivo, era certo nelle regole ma si chiede solo un po' di elasticità)

Abbiamo speso circa 100 euro a notte ( che in Messico è veramente tanto) per non avere acqua calda nessuni dei tre giorni che siamo stati lì. Il primo giorno c’è stato detto che era normale , che tutta l’isola era così ( dubito che uno spenda 300 euro per tre notti e non si lamenti senza poter fare la doccia), il secondo giorno abbiamo fatto la doccia nella stanza della manager che aveva acqua calda (quindi non era un problema di tutta l’isola), e il terzo una bella doccia gelata. L’ultimo giorno non ci siamo trovati degli euri che avevamo nei portafogli dentro alle borse, quindi state attenti a mettere tutto in cassaforte. Al bar hanno prezzo nettamente più alti rispetto altri posti, lo stesso vale per massaggi e tour. Al mio insistere per non voler mettere la propina oltre al conto del bar il cameriere ha insistito parecchio. La camera penosa, un loculo con lavandino in camera e bagno semiaperto.Insomma se dovete spendere i vostri soldi ad holbox non spendeteli qua!!!!

The management of this hotel is completely unscathed - instead of being attentive to their guests or listen when there are issues, they blackmail and mistreats their staff instead of taking responsibility. Certainly not recommending to stay here. They don’t understand business

Bellissimo hotel, molto particolare, dotato di ogni comfort. Camere ampie e dotate di ogni necessità. Colazione ottima e con ampia scelta, sia di dolce che di salato. Bonus la presenza di due piscine e della spiaggia privata dell’hotel. Personale disponibile e gentile!

Good location, very close to the center of the island, with lots of cute shops , cafes, rataurants, a supermarket...Pretty hotel, lots of racoons, this was amazing for the kids, great and kind staff at the reception, nice cleaning staff. We rented bikes very close to the hotel and had lots of fun we were able to explore the island, reach long, nice beaches and even Punta Cocos early in the morning where you can spot flamingos in the wild.

The staff in charge of the breakfast urgently needs customer service training, particularly a young girl. She would try to rush us, take our plates before we were done eating, would not allow our kids to take drink yoghurt or refill the fridge. Not gentle, kind or understanding. More like an upset teacher at an orphanage from a children book. (The food itself was good) More shower/ low showers need to be installed between the beach and the entrance of the hotel It was difficult to rinse sand off (only 1 hidden shower behind the spa area and 1 area to rinse feet kind of hidden and further inside the hotel by room 8). The water in the swimming pool did not look clear (is it by design, to give a rustic look ?) The beach at the hotel is quite short, though if you walk a bit you will find other areas with long stretches of beach area.

À notre arrivée on nous a proposé une chambre qui n’était pas la chambre réservé. Nous avons reçu une compensation. La piscine était en travaux sans que l’on soit prévenu. Je suis restée sur une mauvaise impression mais l’île est somptueuse.

The staff were very attentive throughout the hotel. The location is amazing. Bed and aircon were great.

Evening bar menu wasn’t as good as the daytime menu so we opted to go out.

L’emplacement était exceptionnel, très belle vue sur la plage depuis la piscine. Proche du centre pour tout faire à pieds . Personnel sympathique.

Nourriture très chère donc ce n’était pas possible de manger sur place tous les jours.

Wij sliepen in het appartement maar die zou ik nooit meer boeken. Om 7 uur in de ochtend gaat de afzuiging in de keuken onder het appartement aan en dat geeft een enorm kabaal. Ik word echt van mijn bed getild. Ook in de avond staat deze aan. Schandalig dat je dit je gasten aan doet. We hebben om een alternatief gevraagd. En zogenaamd kijken ze in hun computer en geven het door aan de reservering maar ze komen niet met een oplossing. Dus NIET het appartement boeken. Inventaris is ook waardeloos. Je eet van campingborden. Verder een klein kookpannetje en een paar koekenpannen. Geen koffieapparaat of waterkoker. Kraan is gammel. Ook in de keuken is er veel herrie van de afzuiging beneden. Niet relaxed.

Aan verbouwen toe. Oud. Slechte zonnebedden, met vieze matrassen. Geen warmwater kraan in badkamer. Geen idee wat een De Luxe Kamer behelst, dit is zo standaard als het maar zijn kan. Je kijkt op de vuilnis van de buren.

Très joli petit hôtel familial. L'endroit est calme et donc idéal pour une famille. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Les 2 piscines sont très agréables. L'hôtel est au bord d'une plage privée avec des fauteuils de plage très confortables. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour ici. Les chambres sont malgré tout un peu petites. Hormis, tout est très bien.

I was dissatisfied with the lack of electricity for nearly the entire day, which coincided with a scheduled game day. I had planned to watch the game at a bar. Additionally, there was no water supply, likely due to the power outage.

It was perfect for our needs. Location pool beachclub even the breakfast.

L'homme présent en fin de journée désagréable et incompétent. Le savon de la douche avait une odeur d'oeufs pourris. Nous lui avons fait remarquer, et il a nous la changer au bout de trois jours!!! C'est inadmissible pour un établissement comme celui-là (170euros la nuit)!!!! De plus les serviettes de plages et de douche sont vieillissantes (troué et effiloché) une fois de plus, pas à la hauteur du prix! Aucune fontaine à eau disponible en libre service, certains établissements bien moins chic ont ça! À 9h30 heure, pour le petit-déjeuner le personnel grimace pour refaire du café !! Le taxi qui vous emmènera à l'hôtel n'est pas de 100pesos comme indiqué!

Goede ligging van het hotel: op wandelafstand van het centrum (restaurants, markt, supermarkt), direct aan het strand. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet inbegrepen. Kamers waren niet luxueus, maar wel in orde. WIFI was ok, airco was goed. Ik zou hier opnieuw boeken bij een volgend verblijf in Holbox.

Niet ivm accomodatie, maar algemeen: hou ermee rekening dat de straten in Holbox vaak modderpoelen zijn, dus niet zo handig om te fietsen.

Super ligging. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt. Ideaal voor een relax vakantie voor een aantal dagen.

The room was nice and the bed comfy. The aircon did not blow on the main bed (but on the second one yes), and it was possible to adjust it.

It seems that the "Mexican rule" is not to give the room before the scheduled check-in time (I have such experience also from five starts hotel) - OK, this is also the choice. The beach is small and crowded, the see very shallow, nice swimming impossible - but for leasure OK, especially if you get a sunbed. My room was just opposite the pool and close to the beach bar, noice till 12 pm, rooms are not at all soundproof. The breakfast is rather simple, and started almost ten minutes later compared to the scheduled time (8am only). The reception does not work early morning, if you plan to leave early, you have to check out in the evening before.

Mooi hotel en ligt goed. De strand bar met ligbedjes is heel relaxed ondanks de hoge prijzen voor drankjes en eten.

Altijd een lange rij bij de receptie. Ver van de ferry, je moet met een taxi als je grote koffers hebt. De handdoeken voor het strand en zwembad zijn oud en gerafeld.

Je waant je in een klein paradijs, fantastisch aangekleed waar de Caribische sfeer compleet tot zijn recht komt. Ook de ligging is perfect, net buiten het gezellige dorpscentrum maar binnen een loopafstand van enkele minuten zit je zo weer in het levendige centrum. Ook de ligging direct aan het strand met genoeg luxe strandbedden en zitplaatsen is alles wat je je maar kunt toewensen. Het ontbijt was prima, en ook erg vriendelijke medewerkers in het hotel.

Ze hebben een mooie beachbar, maar door de prijzen die hier gehanteerd worden jaag je iedereen weg naar de andere strand tenten die hier maar wat graag op inspelen. Erg jammer, want met concurende prijzen zou iedereen graag blijven zitten.

Het was fantastisch! Alles was perfect! Gezellige beach vibe in de kamer.

Een tip: wat haakjes in de badkamer en kamer om iets op te hangen

Really nice room with a balcony, cute decorations and comfy bed. The aircon was good. The place by the beach is stunning! If you get a beach bed ( they are a bit few and people are putting ”dibs” on them from early morning with the beach towels) it’s a lovely place to stay with the white sand, turquoise water and lush palm trees. The bar makes good drinks if even a bit pricey. It’s close to the center but not too busy. I read some had music from the bar into their room. I emailed and asked about it and they gave me a room with peace and quiet. Very sweet. The little pool was clean and nice. The big one was on restauration They helped me get a taxi to the ferry and you can get fresh beach towels every day. I have some suggestions for improvement but all in all I’m very happy with my stay and would love to come back

The sunbeds are too few or you should have rules like some resorts, that if you leave your towel alone on a bed for more than 30 minutes it will be taken away. It’s not fine that people ”own” a chair from morning to night but just spend an hour or two there… I was very disappointed when the big pool was out of use for restauration. It was one of the reasons I chose the hotel to have the pool close to the ocean so it was sad The beach bar is too pricy. The staff is nice but the rates are on airport-level and then to put the tips as an extra fee on the receipt instead of letting the customer decide the level is a bit rude. The breakfast is ok but refilling is not very fast. Personal preference but I would have preferred if the beach bar played more Latino music and less middle-eastern style music. I’ve been to Turkey and Egypt but to hear that music when in Mexico took away a lot of the Mexico feeling and made me feel somewhere else As I wrote earlier, I’d love to come back, it’s just personal preferences that makes rooms for improvements. The sunbeds seems like an ongoing problem though in the reviews so you should shape things up with some rules

Pięknie usytuowany, piękna plaża , super basen, blisko centrum z restauracjami itp. Leżaki na plaży wygodne, pachnące plażowe ręczniki. Pokoje urokliwe z akcentami morskimi.

Bardzo słabej jakości śniadania z małym wyborem. Momentami za dużo płynów do dezynfekcji, unosił się ostry zapach. Ceny w restauracji bardzo wysokie.

El servicio de la recepción y estando en la playa ayer x la tarde una sombrilla voló y callo en mi pierna nadie de la la barra corrió a auxiliar ni siquiera preguntar si necesitábamos algo. Así que ideó su pierna a el día de hoy.
