The staff was friendly, the food on the beach was great, the room was clean, and the hotel amenities were very nice. We decided to add another night to our stay.

Ha la possibilità di utilizzare a pagamento i serivizi di ristorazione, di massaggio. La stanza è pultita, con serviette cambiate ogni giorno. Il personale molto cordiale e attento
Le camere sono spartane. Anche la suite, che abbiamo preso per una notte, potrebbe essere curata di più: per quasi 600 euro ci aspettavamo un servizio più adeguato. Altra pecca è non includere la colazione nel paghetto notte. Inoltre le camere non hanno neppure una bustina di the per una bevanda in camera. Una stanza per due persone ha un bicchiere solo epr l'acqua... Insomma potrebbero migliorare di molto le attenzioni per i clienti.

El hotel está en el centro y tiene una ubicación inmejorable, cerca de restaurantes, tiendas y de todo lo que necesitas para disfrutar de la isla. Las vistas son preciosas, todo estaba impecablemente limpio y cuidado, y la habitación era perfecta. Además, tuvieron un detalle precioso con nosotros por nuestro aniversario: nos prepararon la habitación de una manera increíble y nos hizo muchísima ilusión. 🥰 Queremos dar las gracias de corazón a todo el equipo por su amabilidad, atención y por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera todavía más especial. Sin duda, nos llevamos un recuerdo precioso de Holbox y esperamos volver pronto. ¡Gracias por todo!

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026A week or so before our trip I was contacted by the hotel to say that there had been an error with our booking and they were unable to give us the room we booked and paid for in March (2 bedroom suite for a family for four). They said they would 'upgrade ' us to their sister hotel - Hotel Spirit - to the beach front villa. I accepted this as it was only a couple of days until we were due to travel, we didn't have many other options seeing as it was not long until our departure date and the website pictures looked good. (I will review hotel Spirit separately on tripadvisor as do not have a booking.com link (due to the online booking on booking.com staying with Amaite.) We did visit hotel Amaite (as had been told we could use their facilities) so used the sunbeds / pool / ate in the restaurant one afternoon. When we arrived at Amaite the team on reception were not apologetic for their errorl. Hotel Amaite did arrange travel for us to get to our activity on the first morning (as we were no longer walking distance) but the standard / service etc at the sister hotel was not of the same standard which was helpful, however the error was not our fault at all. The amaite bar area / pool and beach area and reception area all seemed lovely. It's very close to the main town and port. Have not completed a number rating as did not actually stay there in the end.

Nous avons séjourné dans la suite présidentielle qui est superbe avec terrasse privée et jacuzzi ( pour lequel il faut demander au personnel de le mettre en service) qui donne l’impression d’avoir une petite villa pour soit dans un hôtel.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Posizione strategica e camere direttamente sulla spiaggia. La spiaggia è inclusa nel costo della camera. Camere ampie e sempre pulite, seppur semplici. Ristorante ottimo.
Non ho trovato corretto che in ogni consumazione (incluso un semplice caffè da asporto) aggiungessero di default una mancia del 15%. Considerando che i costi di partenza erano già decisamente alti, l’ho trovato scorretto, soprattutto perchè non dichiarato chiaramente. La mancia deve essere una scelta e non un’imposizione.

Het is echt op het strand aan de prijs, en je zit wel in het wat drukkere gedeelte van Holbox

Ik vind de prijzen voor van alles wat aan de hoge kant, geldt voor de omgeving ook. Zal het eiland effect zijn, je hebt geen alternatief.

We hadden de master suite met uitzicht op zee geboekt. Bij aankomst leek ons kamer helemaal niet zoals op de foto's. We waren erg teleurgesteld en hebben een alternatief aangeboden gekregen. Het alternatief was om gratis ontbijt te krijgen en na 2 nachten te verhuizen naar de kamer dat wel effectief op foto's voorkwamen. Het alternatief stond ons niet helemaal aan aangezien de prijs van deze kamers hoog ligt. We zijn naar een ander hotel gegaan voor twee dagen. Hebben ons geld terug gekregen voor die twee dagen. Nadien zijn we terug gegaan en hebben we de kamer van de foto's gekregen. Die was ook zeer teleurstellend.

En Mi habitación en el 2do piso se filtró el agua de la lluvia por el techo, también desde el día anterior empezaron a construir en la habitación de abajo generando ruidos molestos de construcción, me quejé al segundo día Ya cansado de los ruidos y me ofrecieron una suite del primer piso, alejada del ruido. No debieron esperar a que me queje.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Alles! Perfecte ligging op het kleine eiland. Aan het strand, en je loopt direct het dorpje in. Zwembad was heerlijk en het strand was de perfecte plek om de zonsondergang te bekijken. Personeel was super beleefd en stond altijd klaar. Het ontbijt was top om de dag mee te starten. Misschien wel het beste hotel waar ik ooit verbleven hebben gezien prijs-kwaliteit. Een paradijsje binnen het paradijs dat Isla Holbox is.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Het strand en zwembad zijn erg mooi en fijn. Goede bedden. Ook is de locatie erg goed, direct in het centrum met veel leuke restaurants om de hoek.
Het minpunt van in het centrum zitten is het geluidsoverlast, neem dus oordoppen mee. Daarnaast is het eten en drinken heel erg prijzig. De kamers waren mooi en prettig maar niet perse 4 sterren waardig, de badkamers zijn iets gedateerd.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Śliczny hotel, bardzo stylowo urządzony. Duża restauracja zlokalizowana na plaży, skąd można podziwiać urocze zachody słońca. Bardzo wygodne łóżko. Pokój przestronny, zadbany, czyściutki. Łazienka duża i komfortowa, z dobrym ciśnieniem wody, co w Meksyku nie jest oczywistością. Do dyspozycji balkon z widokiem na morze (i na basen). Basen czysty, zadbany, Plaża urocza, ale trafiliśmy na moment wysypu glonów - mimo, że była sprzątana, nie zachęcała do korzystania z wody, kilkadziesiąt metrów dalej już plaże były czyściutkie, piękne. Na plus dostęp do morza bezpośrednio z hotelu i duży wybór leżaków, pod nosem również hotelowy bar. Ogólnie bardzo dobra lokalizacja - blisko wszędzie - i do białych plaż, i do barów, sklepików czy restauracji, wszystko pod ręką. Teraz wybrałabym jednak hotel w nieco dalszej części wyspy, gdzie plaże były bialuteńkie. Bardzo mili pracownicy - potrzebowaliśmy przedłużenia o jedną noc i mimo niedostępności naszego pokoju, udało im się zaproponować nam to, czego oczekiwaliśmy - dla pracowników ocena 10/10, w restauracji również pomocne i miłe osoby. Pod hotel codziennie rano i wieczorem przychodzą szopy pracze, więc to dla mnie na ogromny plus jako kontakt z naturą.
Dość wysoka cena za noc w stosunku do jakości - w tej cenie powinno być chociaż zawarte śniadanie. Leżaki wymagają wymiany porwanych gąbek, zdarzało się nam otrzymać lekko rozerwany ręcznik, więc przy tej kwocie za noc oczekiwałabym czegoś więcej. Ceny w restauracji dość wygórowane w stosunku do innych miejsc na wyspie.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Super emplacement, en plein centre d’Holbox Piscine et beach club très agréables Souplesse ++ : nous avons pu déposer les valises avant le Check-in et les laisser après le check-out et retourner quelques temps au beach club, c’est très agréable !
Rien mis à part quelques sargasses sur la plage mais en faible quantité, cela ne gêne pas le passage pour aller à l’eau et il y’avait des gens pour les évacuer dès le matin et cela était déjà beaucoup mieux à partir de 12h

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Perfect location. Only used taxi service to and from port could walk everywhere. Central to all restaurants, bars and shops. Can walk the beach front. Gorgeous beach front hotel no need to move in the day just step out onto the comfortable sun loungers. Food lunch and dinner menu was good.
Pool area whilst nice could do with some tlc. Rooms are basic, understand it matches the relaxed vibe however they could do with a spruce up. Poor lighting very dark once sun goes down. Breakfast is nice but would be good to have a choice if paid or have breakfast included as was the same plate every day.

La playa está limpia pero no es de las bonitas, uno del personal del restaurante de la noche se quiso pasar de vivo cobrándome directamente la cuenta entera con el 15% de propina sin avisar ak reclamar seguía con su postura de que se pagaba así, cuando en ningún otro lugar de la isla nos pasó, de todos modos tienen esa cultura de la propina donde tú viaja va a salir 10 o 15% más

Die laute Musik nachts. Auch tagsüber wurde immer Musik gespielt, aber zum Glück nicht ganz so lange. Aber zum Abend hin, wurde im Beach Club ordentlich gefeiert. Wir hätten uns mehr Schlaf gewünscht. In den 3 Tagen sind sehr viele Seealgen angespült worden. Dies fängt irgendwann an zu riechen. Die Seealgen wurden nicht täglich entfernt. Daher war der Zugang zum Meer durch die Algen schon eklig. Für die Algen kann das Hotel zwar nichts, aber man hätte es täglich entfernen können
