Pymgate Lodge Hotel Manchester Airport

Such a lovely place and I the price was brilliant

The hotel was nice and clean the lady who met us was welcoming. The reception area/ tv room was good

We were in room 4 at the top and back of the property at around 10 pm a lamp post in the back came in and lit the room up the flimsy curtains didn’t do anything a black out blind or curtains could soon resolve this. Also the location is great for Manchester airport but I felt like I might as well have slept on the run way due to the noise, only 2.5hrs sleep 😔. Shower coul do with cleaning/ decorating

Clean friendly ,lovely breakfast. Close to airport and parking

The property was clean and pleasant welcoming

It was virtually at the end off the airport runway and planes landing every 10 minutes

Suited us for a 1 night stay prior to early morning flight from Manchester airport. Very convenient for airport being close to the long stay car parks. Very clean and great value for money.

Nothing, all good for what we needed.

Characterful property. Comfortable bed. Nice bedding and towels

Had booked a courtyard room but was given upper floor room at front of building so poor sleep owing to road noise. Low beam in bedroom, heads bumped. Black mould in shower and generally Needs a thorough clean/dusting

Clean and cosy, good parking and close to the airport

Pillows very hard

Clean & neat

Would love a cupboard down stairs to leave luggage. Some might find lifting luggage up stairs an issue.

The warm welcome and help carring the luggage for us. Ideal for Manchester Airport and the centre of Manchester as well as very near trams and public transport.

location

need a good clean

The hotel was clean and a good location

The attic room and a low beam over the bed in which I hit my head badly visiting the toilet. This was not advertised prior to booking and not ideal for anyone over 5foot 6 inches

Convenient Had what I needed

The pillow was good hard but that's a me problem

Fabulous location and building

Nothing

We've stayed here a few times due to it's proximity to the airport and have always been happy with it. I think it's had a bit of an update since our last stay, which was a nice surprise. Super friendly, comfortable beds, nice shower and free parking. A great option

Nothing, all good

This honestly felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything needed.

Posizione, comfort, parcheggio, gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff

Lovely owners close to airport and lovely room.

This was a lovely stopover before flying from Manchester airport:super easy check in and the host was lovely

Nothing

Manager/owner was so helpful. Excellent value and very near airport.

Parking was a bit tight for a large car but ample spaces.

Friendly clean hotel, we have used several times, great location for car parki for airport, also good pub serving good meals 2 min drive away good

Very pleasant stay. The triple family room was in the ground floor - it was great for my older parents. The lady was so humble and gentle. Good Dinner room.

No points as such

close to Airport (10 Min) and cost just €16 for 3AM taxi ride!

all was good to us!

I liked the personal feel. Lovely cosy bed and breakfast so handy for the airport. Lovely breakfast. Please avoid the chain hotels , this is a lovely start to travelling.

Very minor but the shower was stuck on hot!

Proximity to Manchester, small but clean and comfortable rooms. Warm and friendly staff/owners. Very recommended.

N/A

Quiet friendly family run buisnesss very polite professional very efficient nothing is ever too much trouble for the owners such lovely hosts love coming staying here just to chill out as such a calming atmosphere the food fab too amazing breakfast

Convenience and full beds for family of 4 in one room (usually only get sofa bed or another double but children had a single bed each)

Parking - too tight. We went out for food to come back and struggled to park. Would be good to have each room reserved to a spot

Nice clean place, lovely host

Staff and breakfast fabulous!

Wasn't the cleanest room, shower was dirty inside and out

Host was extremely polite and friendly (didn't catch her name) the breakfast was delicious and well worth £12.50.

The rooms could do with some updating/maintenance but it did not affect our visit at all. Also for the price you cannot complain as it was clean and very well equipped with a heater, fan, iron etc.

Cheap-ish

Room smelt like mould, carpet filthy and towels from previous occupants left on the back of the bathroom door.

Very friendly staff and a comfortable clean room plus a great breakfast

Very cheap furniture and very dated. Stepped back in time. Dirty carpet, found hair in bed and on def side table that wasn’t mine .

Lovely quirky hotel within a short distance to the airport. We were made to feel welcome upon arrival. Our room was in the courtyard away from the hotel, but don't let this put you off as all rooms were safe and secure. The double room had everything you needed for your stay, was clean and tidy and if you needed anything the hosts were happy to help. We didn't have breakfast so am unable to comment, but speaking to other guests it was very good. Parking is available but space is limited, but this is not a negative regarding the hotel itself. Our stay was for 3 nights and found the hotel excellent value for money and would definitely return in the future.

Only negative was the aeroplane noise with being so close to the busy airport. But you do get used to it and it was to be expected.

Comfortable big bed. Clean linen, comfy soft towels, warm shower, nice smelling soap. Tea and coffee and biscuits. Very peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very welcoming. Very good value for money. I will definitely return and can recommend.

Nothing

Clean and.perfect location friendly staff

Cleanliness, friendliness

Car park was full but owner let us park in Disabled space otherwise we would have been parked on the street

Friendly staff, clean environment, well located for where I was going. Very comfortable bed and very clean room and facilities and also had a very peaceful sleep.

all was well staff lovely breakfast on time all very nice

Lovely cosy rooms and very friendly welcoming

Parking a bit of a squeeze

Very clean with a very helpful host. Nothing was too much trouble.

l'hotel etait près de l'aeroport

la déco ultra has been, la sensation d'etre chez des gens : c'est un b&b, pas un hotel

The host was really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for Manchester airport.

was close to the family we were visiting. Close to the town centre and the airport great value for money

The rooms were consistently clean and tidy. The owners were exceptionally accommodating. I have stayed at this B&B for over 20 nights in the last two months and have had an excellent experience every time. I will definitely be staying again. Thank you, guys.

Nothing, was perfect

Honestly I loved the property, It was clean aesthetically pleasing and not just any other hotel where it feels like just staying at some odd place. It felt like a home cosy beautiful, a place with character😍❤️

I dont think so there was any lows

Ease of access to Manchester Airport. The owner was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable

The shower was tricky to get hot water through

Lots of character, clean and spacious room with modern bathroom, Great location for the airport and staff super helpful

Nothing

Geniş oda, free parking

The location was perfect for us. The rooms were clean, well equipped and of a great size.

Nothing.

Comfy room and welcoming staff

It was a little far from restaurants

Friendly and welcoming, very clean, convenient location and no fuss check out for an early flight. The very traditional decor was so intensely done it was quite impressive! Family room was a good size and comfortable for us all.

Easy access to airport, on site parking, clean and comfortable

A basic b&b but clean and good value

No food or drink facilities other than a fridge in reception to purchase drinks and nearest restaurant about 15 mins walk away

L'accueil

We stayed here as we was very close to the airport. The owner was very pleasant. The room was lovely and cozy and comfortable for what we needed.

Nothing to dislike

I flew into Manchester airport late and had an early flight the following morning. It was easy to get to by Uber, and late check in was easy and thoroughly explained by staff prior to my arrival through Whatsapp. I left the following morning, without seeing any staff members, but check out was just as easy. I would book this place again due to its proximity to the airport, and the helpful Whatsapp messages with staff who helped me to book a taxi early in the morning in advance by providing me with different options and estimated costs.

The room was spacious and well equipped.

Nothing, it met my expectations.

Très bien

Very clean, amazing decor and friendly staff

Very good staff, ready to assist. Excellent breakfast Clean environment.

None at the moment

Great location for Manchester airport and eats wish into town for food etc

Can’t fault it for the price

Closeness to airport for early flight. Comfortable bed For one night this hotel room was fine anymore than that definitely not.

I didnt realise that view of courtyard actually meant that we weren't in the actual hotel but out the back across the courtyard. Bathroom very small, even though soap was provided small shampoo snd conditioner would have been appreciated. Also no fridge in room.

Friendly, welcoming proprietor. Made me feel very much at home. Well appointed room. Perfect for what I required.

This was not a big chain hotel. It was easy to check in and had what we needed pre flight the next morning.

I love a proper tea mug. The mugs were a bit small....but its not a complaint

Nice friendly welcoming

The staff who ran the B&B were lovely. They couldn't be more helpful

An older hotel, but the room was clean, beds comfortable. Free parking.

Nothing

The room is quite nice at the back of the hotel with a fan provided. Even with the hot weather, it stays cool enough inside the room throughout the day. Being distant from the main road improves my sleeping significantly. There is always enough parking space during my stay. The lounge has a lovely design

Very clean and inviting

Nothing

Property was clean not too far away from where we were working

Shower cubicle was really small it was quite difficult for my husband who is over 6 feet tall

Check process was very easy, the staff made the stay excellent. Excellent value for money.

Staff arranged a taxi for us. Very nice lounge to relax in. Clean and pleasant place. Definitely stay here again.

No issues.

Very convenient for Manchester airport which was 10 minutes away. The owner is very friendly and polite. We were shown 2 rooms on arrival and was pleasantly surprised when seen both. We chose the attick room right at the top, very clean and comfortable.

The outside of the property needs tidying up and the nets on the windows were dated which made me dubious of the accommodation but needn't as it was lovely inside.

Lovely staff Clean Location for airport

Decaf tea would have been a great option and more milk

The property was easy to find with an inviting atmosphere. The room was a good size with clean bedding and towels. A large size TV and en-suite.

N/A

We were welcomed straight away by the host and due to us having a lot of luggage we were given the downstairs room which was excellent. The room also had 2 fans which was great as it was a really warm day and it was very clean and tidy. We will definitely visit Pymgate Hotel in the future.

Nothing.

Very friendly and cosy family run hotel. Definitely recommend

Super easy location and good value for money to be close to the airport. Comfy rooms with everything you need. It was very easy to get an uber early in the morning - I had asked staff to organise me a taxi and they said they would but when I called the company at 4am this hadn’t been done. Would recommend just organising your own if you stay here!!

All of the staff extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful! Lovely property and tasty breakfast. Great location and well-priced!

N/A

Family run, very attentive hosts, pleasant room, individually and cheerfully appointed throughout. Absolutely not corporate. Excellent cooked breakfast.

Noisy with traffic and planes (unsurprisingly). No garden. Limited parking. Shower getting old and tricky to use.

A warm welcome. Immediately reactive to a request for ice (on the hottest day of the year).

The carpet! But it didn't affect my ability to sleep!

The lady who welcomed us was very friendly, helpful in advising where the closest shop is to find some snacks and it was very well located since we had to catch a very early morning flight. Thank you!

Close to the airport. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds

Friendly staff

Nothing

Very convenient location, the manager is very friendly and breakfast was very good. Free parking available which is hard to find near the airport!

Room is very comfortable, only missing an air conditioner- but fan was provided.

Friendly staff. Place to park the car. Quiet despite proximity to the airport.

Small space but it was private and on the ground floor.

The owners have provided everything you could want in a hotel room and it was excellent value for money.

I can’t think of anything.

Our room was on the back, away from the busy road and quite quiet. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was a fan in the room for ventilation, and a skylight that opened.

There was nothing I did not like. This is NOT controlled by the hotel and just an advisory. If you do not have a car you will have to get a ride to any restaurants or shopping for dinner.

Easy to find location Staff were very helpful and friendly Room was tidy and smelt very good

It was clean

I didnt get the room i booked

Location excellent.

Nothing comes to mind.

Nothing

The room was quite cramped, and the bed linens were never changed throughout my stay.

The friendliness of the owners They provided a guide for me to catch the train to Manchester and what to see A great value continental breakfast

All good
