Wellness Hotel Stoos

The included spa was fabulous. The buffet breakfast was amazing. It’s a short walk from the cable car to the hotel but they have a shuttle service. The staff are very friendly and even gave us a chocolate Swiss Army knife upon our departure

We were on the third floor, and there was only one triangular shaped window that was high up, so I had to stand on the couch to look out the window. The room was very warm, even with the fan going continuously.

Excellent hotel, super nice and friendly staff, perfect location in the nice mountain village of Stoos. Two chair-lifts in walking distance to explore the surrounding mountains or enjoy a nice view, and two cable cars (one “air” and one “standing”). Mountain biking paths, and hiking/walking paths easily reachable from the hotel. Nice pool and wellness area, and also great food in the restaurant (Beef tatar absolute recommendation, one of the best I ever had)

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, auch die Lage des Hotels ist top. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schön hergerichtet und das Angebot völlig ausreichend. Mir hat besonders das Früchte Angebot sehr gefallen.

Unser Abendessen am ersten Abend war enttäuschend, geschmacklich war es ok...aber leider nicht heiss, eher lau und relativ fade. Für den Preis hätten wir mehr Qualität erwartet. Der Kellner hat uns dann einen Grappa angeboten, als Trostpflaster. Zimmer unter dem Dach war sehr warm, lüften konnte man bei diesen Fenstern nicht wirklich.

War alles in Ordnung

Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, hund må medtages på dele af hotel. Værelserne er fine, balkoner lidt slidte. Wellness afdeling er "tekstilfri" fir den indvendige del, den udvendige er kun to små saunaer og et boblebad. Placering er smuk, flot udsigt. Byen og området er bilfrit, så naturen og stilheden er i sig selv en oplevelse. Morgenmad er super lækker, men starter lidt sent (7.30), hvis man skal ud at vandre.

Udsigten er meget afhængig af værelsets placering (bed om værelser mod øst). Restaurering i gang under vores ophold.

The staff's professionalism and warmth go far beyond exemplary. They are genuinely sincere and always eager to help. My room was comfortable and luxurious. The view from the window was completely out of this world. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Notre chambre 319 avait une fenêtre unique grande comme une meurtrière… impossible de faire rentrer l’air frais. Je ne sais même pas si ils peuvent louer cet type de chambre. La qualité de la restauration laisse à désirer.

Für den ersten Abend hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert. Das Essen war perfekt, unsere Änderungswünsche problemlos erfüllt. Wir haben dann dreimal am Abend im Hotel gegessen, es war immer super. Das Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen, alles da, alles sehr gut.

La tranquillité de Stoos, le confort de la chambre, le spa, la qualité du restaurant pour le petit-déjeuner et la demi-pension, la gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel, les randonnées à faire autour et surtout la magnifique vue depuis la chambre.

Wir haben bei unserem kurzen Aufenthalt keine Mängel festgestellt.

Everything, It felt so relaxing to stay here. Beautiful surroundings. Amazing amenities. Dinner and breakfast were 5 stars. We really enjoyed the spas facilities before and after hiking.

I guess farther from funicular/ chairlift so we had to carry our luggage but also I think they do have transport but I wasn't sure.

Grossartig war das Frühstück, die Aussicht und der Wellnessbereich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Leider war es in unserem Zimmer sehr heiss, da es keine Storen zur Beschattung gab. Auch das Lüften nachts brachte wenig Abkühlung. Es war schön, dass wir unseren Hund mitbringen durften. Leider durfte er nicht ins Restaurant mitgenommen werden.

No coffee machine or water cooker in room??

We stayed two nights in the Gasthaus that is adjacent to the hotel. We checked in at the main hotel and we were offered a welcome drink which was a nice touch. The staff were great as well! We did the half-board for one of our dinners and it was a delicious four course meal. The restaurant staff were fabulous as well. The breakfast options were many. They also ask if you’d like to order eggs and offer many different ways to prepare them. We also added the “Wellness” package to the day we got done with the Stoos Ridge hike and our muscles were sore. It was nice to relax in the whirlpool. It was 20 CHF per person. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we appreciated the extra pillows. One thing we did not like was the cigarette smoke smell in the hallway of the building as well as the smell that drifted up to our room from someone smoking outside. There was one woman who seemed to live in the building who was outside of the doors smoking just about every time we were leaving the building. I would definitely stay here again but I think I’d choose to stay in the main hotel.

L'emplacement est vraiment magnifique et un vrai havre de paix. L'hôtel est superbe, confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Et un coucher de soleil magnifique vue de la chambre.

La seul chose qui m'a déranger c'est l'insonorisation de l'hôtel, on entendait beaucoup les voisins du dessus. Après cela dépend aussi des personnes qui y loge.

Séjour exceptionnel, au-dessus de mes attentes. Nous avions le déjeuner inclus mais nous voulions aller faire une randonnée très tôt. Ils nous ont proposé le service de boîtes à lunch, c'était parfait. La piscine était d'une propreté incroyable. Nous étions avec 2 enfants de 6 et 8 ans qui ont été très bien accueillis. L'accueil était parfait. La chambre était belle, nous avons dormi la porte ouverte à cause de la chaleur, le son des cloches à vache nous a bercés. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

A short walk from cable cars. Really good breakfast, balcony with a beautiful view, Spa facilities very nice. Very clean and beautiful hotel. I love having apples in each floor, and having drinks and tea on the spa area. I would come back for sure.

It was very hot in the room specially at night and we had a very old fan very loud that I couldn’t really use because it was very noisy. It would’ve been nice to have AC instead or a better fan. Thats the only thing i didn’t like, everything else was perfect.

Das einzige was verbessert werden könnte sind die Haartrockner im Zimmer. Man findet aber bessere im Wellnessbereich.

The location is really nice ! The Food was good as well, especially for my friend who is gluten and lactose intolerant and pregnant at the same time. The restaurant was careful and it was easy for her to eat adapted and good food. The personal at the reception was really friendly and flexible.

The Wellness might be a bit « old fashioned » and the hotel was renovating, so we had the view from our balcony on 3 containers and rebuilding machines. The personal at the restaurant was not really friendly but ok.

Not all staff were friendly, which we found very unusual given its ‘Wellbess,’ promise. Also the hotel was under construction or repair and they failed to let us know. A coffee machine in each room must also be added. Waiting until 730am for coffee is not acceptable. The lady at the breakfast area was furious when I tried to make a coffee approx 720am (despite advertising 7am open on booking.com)

It was sweltering hot and the AC unit in the room didn’t work for 3 days. We kept telling the hotel about this issue. They only fixed it on the last night. And for that we only got 19 % off. It was very uncomfortable. For the price we paid this was not acceptable. After all it’s supposed to be 4 star hotel.

Extrem teuer für ein Zimmer mit normaler Ausstattung ohne Klimaanlage. Der hohe Preis wird mich davon abhalten, erneut zu buchen.

I asked in advance information regarding the ticket for the famous hiking path from Frontalpstock to Klingenstock since I wanted to book the hotel for this reason and they give me information without telling me the path was closed and open only in June, I found this out once there already. But they give us for this a room upgrade! The dinner did not meet expectations. The flavors were rather bland, there were no interesting or well-thought-out pairings, and the overall quality of the food was not up to the standard we expected.
