Might have been the time of year we stayed, but it was very quiet and peaceful making it the perfect getaway! The beds were super cozy and the bathroom was clean and nice. We ended up cancelling our plans because of the fog, so thankfully the room was great! The restaurant was good, breakfast included was amazing and the dinner we chose to pay for was pretty good too. The staff were very nice and attentive! It’s nicely located very close to the klingenstock chairlift, but know you have to walk uphill for about 5-10 minutes from the stoos funicular to the hotel. There were cows grazing just outside of the hotel which were adorable.

Well-maintained hotel and rooms. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and decent breakfast. The view from the rooms is spectacular.

The Wifi was not good, the connection was dropped few times an hour (we tested on different devices). Worth to mention in the hotel description, that if you bring (even) small suitcases, there is 300-500 meters of unpaved road to the hotel, so be ready to handle this distance.

Wunderschöne Aussicht Sehr freundliches Personal

Es war alles sehr gut. Mit dem Preis ist das Hotel noch vor meiner Anreise runter gegangen. Das wusste ich sehr zu schätzen. Ich hatte auch noch das Glück alleine im Vier- Bett Zimmer zu schlafen. Auch das war Super. Das Abendessen war lecker und die Aussicht ist von überall richtig schön.

Beim Frühstück fände ich es besser wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe sich selber einen Kaffee, heiß Wasser oder Milch zu holen.

Meilleure emplacement de Stoos, à côté du télésiège. Bon restaurant avec une soupe délicieuse et plats simples mais copieux. Établissement super propre, calme et chaleureux. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Good food, amazing view, no rush.

La situation géographique , la vue , le personnel très disponible ouvert et serviable. Pas compliqué; nous avons pu laisser nos sacs, le matériel et nos vélos pour faire une journée de marche.

L'odeur de fumé et cigarette derrière la maison. C'était assez fort et par moment on le sentait vraiment bien. Dommage

Zimmer war unglaublich heiß nachts.

Top Preis Leistungs Verhältnis und sehr freundliches, unkompliziertes Personal. Es wurde sogar extra Vegane Milch organisiert auf Anfrage, was wir sehr geschätzt haben.

Great views, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff and the facilities were in perfect condition.

The room was small, and there was the constant, loud cow bells throughout the night so we had to close the windows to sleep but then it became stuffy. The hike up from the stoosbahn was very steep.

It is a bit of a challenge to transfer your luggage there (ask the staff near the funicular)

I had an incredible experience staying at this beautiful hotel that is located at the base of so many wonderful hikes and experiences! The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, the expansive hills and mountains felt unbelievable to my eyes they were that beautiful! You could hear the cow bells from the room, which was a lovely experience, especially for my first night in Switzerland! The breakfast was very yummy and as a coffee lover I was in awe when the staff asked if I wanted coffee and they brought me a whole pot just for myself! The dining room also had an unbelievable view of the moutnain and valley below! The staff were also very helpful and friendly, they made my stay very comfortable and fun! If you stay here you should do the Stoos Ridge walk and swim in the little lake in town. Visit the gorgeous church on the hill with breathtaking views of the mountain behind it! I will definitely be coming here again, thank you for such a wonderful stay!

There's a bit of a hill to get up to the hotel, but not a problem at all considering the beautiful view at the top!

Super endroit à mi chemin de l’arrivée du funiculaire et du télésiège qui monte à Klingenstock!! Une chambre famille avec vue sur les montagnes, juste magnifique. Petit déjeuner buffet, très bon. Je recommande vivement cet endroit! Personnel très sympathiques mais ne parlant que l’allemand... 😅

My room was facing the sunrise and the mountain views. Just beautiful. The location is very good to enjoy the mountain tranquility. It's also easy to start hiking directly from here snd enjoy the day fully in the moutains. The food for breakfast and dinner was very good. All the staff was very nice and helpfull.

Clean, organized. Location is on top of the hill and better to wear ski gears on and use the cable rope to go up there.

Amazing place, on the ski slope just up the hill from town. The views are fantastic (especially at sunset), the rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Stoos is the perfect place for a family ski vacation, and the Stoos Hüttä is a great home base. Do keep in mind that it is very helpful if everyone in your party can ski, as the easiest way up is to ride the T-bar. However, there is a taxi that can take you and your luggage from the funicular for about 30 CHF.

It's a bit expensive, but you are paying for the unbeatable location.

Die Ausssicht war phantastisch, mit den grossen Fenster ein toller Blick auf Stoos und den Sonnenaufgang. Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service war sehr gut, hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Der Bettanzug fühlte sich nicht gut an und man schwitzte stark darunter. Es hat keinen TV im Zimmer, dafür grosse Fenster mit einer tollen Aussicht.

The location was absolutley stunning, and Stoos Hutta was surprisingly easy to get to (as long as you don't mind walking up a rather steep hill from the funicular station... but it's only a 5 minute walk). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. The rooms were cosy, clean and with stunning views. The wifi worked fine. We stayed one night and then did the 2 hour walk up to Fronalpstock. I did get very scared of the cows at one point when we were crossing a field, but the cattle herder assured us that they were just curious and wouldn't hurt us!

Superb accommodation and friendly hospitality. My accommodation come with free breakfast. The staff regularly top up breakfast counter to make sure there is foods there even it close to end of breakfast time at 10am. The location is a bit hike up for about 15 minutes so be prepared if you have a big luggage. I have no problem with my backpack.

Situata poco al di sopra del paese, la Stoos Hüttä ha una posizione perfetta per avere una bella vista e per partire con la seggiovia del Klingenstock. Atmosfera accogliente.

Il materasso del letto singolo era un po' piccolo rispetto alla rete.

Ich war schon in einigen Berhütten, aber diese war für mich einzigartig. Sehr heimelig. Das Bett war einiges bequemer als in einigen 5* Hotels. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück-> Bombe!

Super schönes Zimmer, sehe gemütlich mit dem hellen Holz und dem Stockbett, toller Ausblick. Unglaublich gutes Essen, hab lange nicht mehr wo so gut gegessen, sehe freundliches Personal

Čisté pokoje, pohodlné postele, ochotný a nápomocný personál. Krásný výhled a nádherná noční obloha bez světelného smogu.

Byli jsme ubytovaní v půlce září, venku tedy ještě celou noc zvonily zvony od krav😊 V pokoji bylo dost horko, museli jsme mít celou noc otevřené okno, takže to cinkání nás budilo, doporučuji špunty do uší, pokud jste citliví na hluk. V zimě to musí být naprosto super, ticho, ale v létě je to horší. K hotelu nevede pevná silnice ani chodník, takže pokud máte kufr na kolečkách, nelze jej táhnout, musíte ho nést.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und sind sogar länger wach geblieben, weil wir erst die letzte Bahn nehmen konnten. Sehr gute Unterkunft mit toller Lage.

L'établissement est très bien placé pour les départs de randonnées. Le personnel est adorable. Le petit déjeuner propose du salé et sucré avec de très bons produits, les plats du restaurant pour le midi et le soir sont excellents.
