Meals are great! Super breakfast spread and excellent dinners with choices. Comfortable beds and VERY quiet! The staff is very helpful offering to carry our luggage upstairs and a ride to the Stoosbahn on departure. Considering prices at other properties this was fair and we loved having half-pension.

I did nit realize there was no elevator in the Gästehaus.

Le SPA, le buffet du petit déjeuner. Le personnel était très aimable, la chambre.

Nous avons attentons beaucoup trop longtemps au restaurant le soir. Nous avons attendu notre entrée, une salade verte, pendant 1h. Et puis encore une bonne demi-heure pour le plat. De plus, en réservant, je n’avais pas vu que le prix du SPA serait à payer en plus. Après coup, je l’ai vu noté en tout petit dans les équipement. Mais la pub met en avant le SPA de la même manière que le fabuleux petit déjeuné.

Amazing location, gorgeous restaurant, fabulous evening buffet option for dinner and excellent breakfast buffet. Room and facilities were very clean. Super easy access to chairlift to the ridge walk Staff were very pleasant, efficient, and accommodating, and arranged for a ride from the accommodation to the funicular ride back down from the mountain at the end of our stay. Special mention for Ellen, who was very sweet, welcoming and friendly 😀

bathroom was quite small and cramped, but otherwise the room was pleasant, clean and comfortable

Das Gästehaus liegt gleich neben dem Hotel und ist eine kostengünstige Alternative. Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Die Möglichkeit auch als Gäste im Haupthotel mit dem entsprechend gepflegten, vielfältigen Angebot und Ambiente essen zu können, ist sehr schön und ungewöhnlich. Wir haben es geschätzt und entsprechend genossen.

Alt! Det var det lille ekstra overalt. Rommet var litt større enn forventet, måltidene var fabelaktig, spaavdeling var luksus! Vi blei møtt med en utrulig fin vennlighet.

Bella struttura in posizione appena defilata, camera accogliente e spaziosa. Buona e ricca la colazione. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Nous avons aimé: L'emplacement à 2 pas du téléphérique, le petit déjeuner, le confort du lit et de la chambre.

C'est dommage qu'aucun membre du personnel ne parle français (mais la personne qui s'est occupée de nous était très chouette et a parlé au mieux le peu de français qu'elle connaissait :-) )

Great hotel in a wonderful and peaceful location near the funicular and really close to both lift chairs that take you up to the hike. Amazing and varied breakfast, everything was tasty and good quality. Staff was polite and friendly. Try the spa, is the best value we had in Switzerland. Lovely small gesture like welcome drink and small chocolates make a big difference.

Beautiful place, clean and spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and food is great!

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was the best we had in our entire 2 weeks in Switzerland. They had a card and a glass of champagne at our table at breakfast to celebrate us on our honeymoon, which we very much appreciated! Which is the reason I’m rating this higher than I would have. Because they did go out of their way to make the honeymoon feel special at breakfast which is more than any other hotel did during our trip. - It would’ve been extra special if the special touches were in our room instead of at the meal - but that’s just our preference. Still very appreciative!!! Loved the gestures a lot!

On arrival my husband went in the shower and he noticed a ball of hair stuck to the shower wall. When we told the front desk the girl apologized but stated the cleaning staff had all gone home. Just a bit disappointing on such an expensive stay… As well we really wanted to get to enjoy the spa for our honeymoon but the hours in the evening only were until 8pm. Unfortunately we only arrived at 5pm and wanted to grab dinner, so by the time we finished it didn’t seem worth it to pay for only an hour of use :( Lastly, there was no air conditioning so we had to open the windows for the night and because our building was surrounded by forest, many mosquitos must’ve come in during the night because I woke up with 7 bites :(

Emplacement

Service au restaurant pas à la hauteur de l établissement extrêmement lent beaucoup d hâte. Pas possible de manger sur la terrasse le soir alors qu il faisait super beau !

A fogaskerekűtől 8-10 perc sétatávolságra van, de a felvonó állomásához nagyon közel. Csomagokkal, fogaskerekűvel érkezve kérhető ingyen fuvar a szállodáig. A szállás a Stoos Hotel melléképülete, pár lépésre a főépülettől (itt lift nincs, de ez nem volt probléma). A reggeli kiváló, bár a választék lehetne picit nagyobb - tojást külön kérésre, saját kívánság szerint készítenek. Kedves a szobába bekészített víz és a kijelentkezéskor adott csokoládé. Az ágy kifejezetten kényelmes volt. Bár ez nem kifejezetten a szállásadóhoz kapcsolódik, de a Stoosban éjszakázó vendégek kedvezményes áron vehetnek több napra szóló jegyet, amivel az összes felvonó korlátlanul használható.

Az ablakokon nem volt szúnyogháló, pedig szükség lett volna rá.

La chambre était très spacieuse avec un très grand lit. Le village de stoos est très calme (sans voiture)

La salle de bains/wc aurait pu bénéficier d'un M2 de plus au vu de la grandeur de la chambre. Pour le prix, un petit frigo et surtout une bouilloire aurait été parfait. Il n'était noté nulle part que l' accueil se faisait par un autre hôtel et nous avons un peu cherché l'établissement.

Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut - Auswahl und Qualität hat gepasst. Der Hauptgang beim Abendessen war ok, das Salatbuffet und Dessert um einiges besser. Am ersten Abend war der Hauptgang nur lauwarm. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Personal sehr freundlich

Die Außenanlage muss dringend erneuert und verschönert werden. Teilweise wirkt es ungepflegt und lieblos. Die Wiese für den Spa Außenbereich hätte so viel mehr Potenzial. Die kleinen Saunahäuschen wirken einfach angestellt. Jeder kann den Liegebereich einsehen. Wir waren im Gästehaus und da muss dringend der Teppich erneuert werden. Die Fliesen in der Dusche im Bad waren raus gebrochen. Aus dem Abfluss stank es

L'emplacement est proche de la station du funiculaire (10 minutes à pied) et encore plus proche du téléphérique qui monte de la vallée. Le village de Stoos est une merveille et de nombreuses randonnées sont accessibles depuis là. Nous avions choisi la demi-pension et le repas était excellent (3 propositions de plats au choix) et le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel et très varié.

L'ameublement de la chambre est spartiate, sans climatisation. La literie est confortable mais le matelas beaucoup trop "mou" à mon goût. La couleur des murs et de la moquette (brun foncé) ne contribuent pas à donner une ambiance chaleureuse. Le balcon donne sur une forêt (aucun intérêt sinon se rafraîchir lorsque la température à l'intérieur est plus étouffante qu'à l'extérieur). En résumé nous avons apprécié notre séjour mais j'ai trouvé le rapport qualité-prix beaucoup trop cher.

Die Lage ist ideal zur Luftseilbahn Stoos. Wir haben das Gourmetmenu genossen, war sehr fein bei tollem Wetter und Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse.

Definitely recommended! One of the best value/price stays we've had in years. A nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff placed at an amazing place. The room in guesthouse was clean and great for money. The breakfast was amazing, multiple choices of fresh and quality food. Would definitely come here again!

Only a note - there isn't a fridge in the room. We were aware, but some might not be.

Les lieux communs sont très beaux, avec une vue magnifique. Excellent déjeuner! À environ 20 minutes à pied afin de se rendre à la remonté du départ de la randonnée Klingenstock-Fronalpstock.

La chambre est dans une bâtisse sans lumière avec des fenêtres sans vue. Il est mieux de choisir une chambre qui est dans la bâtisse principale de l’hôtel.

Stoos Village was an unforgettable experience—truly a little piece of heaven on earth! The breathtaking surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made our visit incredibly special. Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They patiently explained everything we needed to know about the Stoos Ridge Trail hike, which made our trekking experience even more enjoyable. We had an amazing time here and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Stoos and would love to return in the future!
