Super hotel. Heerlijke locatie.

Teleurstellend na zoveel goede ervaringen met Paradores Na vele zeer goede ervaringen in de afgelopen jaren bij verschillende Paradores in Spanje, is het bijzonder teleurstellend te moeten constateren dat deze locatie niet het niveau haalt dat wij van Paradores gewend zijn en ook mogen verwachten. De locatie en het gebouw zijn werkelijk schitterend. Juist daarom vallen de tekortkomingen extra op. Haren in het bad, een lamp die duidelijk aan vervanging toe is en lege shampooflacons zijn misschien afzonderlijk kleine zaken, maar samen geven ze niet de indruk van de zorg en aandacht die bij een hotel van dit niveau horen. Teleurstellender was echter de gastvrijheid. Op de dag van aankomst bleek het voor ons als hotelgasten niet mogelijk om in het restaurant te eten. De begeleiding en bejegening door de receptie bij aankomst, maar ook gedurende de dagen van ons verblijf, hebben wij bovendien als weinig klantvriendelijk ervaren. We voelden ons eerder een passant dan een gewaardeerde gast. Een Parador is naar mijn mening meer dan een mooi historisch gebouw op een bijzondere locatie. Uiteindelijk is het de gevoelswaarde van het verblijf die bepaalt of je ergens graag bent en graag terugkomt. En juist daar ging het voor ons mis. Wij hebben ons hier als gasten helaas niet thuis en niet centraal gesteld gevoeld. Dat is bijzonder jammer, want de locatie heeft alles in zich om een fantastische Parador te zijn. Een prachtig hotel op een schitterende locatie, maar gastvrijheid wordt niet alleen bepaald door het gebouw. De gast moet centraal staan — en dat gevoel hebben wij hier helaas gemist.

Super schöne Hotelanlage mit toller Kunst und erstklassigem Design. Auch die angebotene Führung durch die Ausstellung war wunderbar. Personal immer hilfsbereit (bis auf eine muffelige Bedienung beim sehr guten und umfangreichen Frühstück). Essen im Restaurant hervorragend, insbesondere das wunderbare Ambiente im Innenhof

Die Lichtschalter sind sehr klein und man kann nicht intuitiv schalten, sondern muss genau hingucken. In einer der Schaltanlagen war dann auch die Betätigung für das Rollo versteckt.

Завтрак был очень разнообразный и вкусный.

Цена за завтрак очень завышена. Так же у друзей в другом номере не работал ночью кондиционер, номер 43. Утром мы дали заявку на ремонт, но к вечеру он так и не был отремонтирован. Как мы поняли персонал просто забыл. Поэтому ремонт начался в 18:00 когда мы вернулись в номер. Но так и не получилось сделать кондиционер, поэтому нам дали другой номер.

Todo maravilloso realmente! El edificio una belleza lleno de historia, con una habitación muy grande y bien equipada. Tiene una piscina muy agradable, espacios muy cómodos. El desayuno increíble de completo y con muchísimas opciones de comida. Pero lo mejor de todo es la amabilidad y profesionalismo de todo el staff del hotel. Trabajan con una predisposición admirable, te hacen sentir muy bien.

El hotel es céntrico, la habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia. El desayuno es muy bueno y completo.

En temporada de verano cuando la piscina está abierta faltan chanclas de cortesía y una pequeña papelera dentro del baño (solo había una en el aseo).

The Parador is a few metres away from Calle Mayor where all the events are happening (We went during Alcala de Henares fiesta). The parador is a 4 star property and it showed in their facilities. The rooms in the basement was surprisngly lovely, i initially thought it would be an interior room, but the floor to ceiling window opens to a small rock garden. There was a lovely "biblioteca" salon that is exclusive for guests where you can order drinks; and the courtyard is open to the public. When we requested late check out - they offered 50eur extension for 6 hrs (until 18:00) or eat at their restaurant and they can give extension. This was a lovely thing, however it didn't fit our plans. It would have been good to stay a bit more and enjoy the pool area which opens only at 11 am.

It is quite a bit of a walk from the train station - around 15 to 20 minutes, and if you have a bag, it might be best to take a taxi. There are taxis waiting outside the train station. The swimming pool opens only at 11 am :(

The location was awesome! Very safe, blocks away from the Main Street.

There wasn’t a lot of interaction with the hotel staff. Once I checked in it felt like I was on my own. No maps, recommendation, or hospitality.

마드리드공항 저녁 도착후 1박이어서 큰기대 없었습니다. 하지만 동네 광장쪽 나가보니 먹을곳도 많고 동네광장이랑 길이 너무 예쁘고 해서 놀랐습니다. 아침조식은 과일도 많고 빵도 맛있고, 조명이며 분위기며 간만에 즐긴 조식였어요 주차장도 넓고 좋습니다

La única pega podrían ser las luces de la habitación. Tiene un sistema un poco raro de modos en el que no sabes bien cual es cual. Al levantarme por la noche no hay manera de atinar con el modo, se ecienden más luces de la cuenta y despiertas a el otro huésped.

Que la piscina debería ser climatizada y tener puertas de acceso en cada una de las esquinas y que se le debería permitir a los clientes de salida quedarse en la piscina a pesar de terminar su estancia por la mañana

Impossible de trouver un coin fumeur dans toute l'enceinte du Parador : "vous pouvez aller fumer dans la rue"... Je comprends parfaitement que la fumée peut incommoder de nombreuses personnes, mais sans balcon, et dans le cloître qui est très grand et complètement aéré, il est interdit de fumer... Pas de café, même soluble dans la chambre (à moins de ne pas l'avoir trouvé... Dernier point, nous étions dans une chambre dans un espèce de sous sol encaissé (donc pas très agréable) et avec du vis à vis avec d'autres chambres..

Because of a cancelled flight from the US, we were going to have to miss our stay. But then they offered to change it to the next night! I would have loved to explore the neighborhood. But our next days flight also suffered problems (missed connection), so we only got a 5 hour comfortable stay there. The desk personnel arranged our morning taxi in one minute! The facilities are really modern.

Nothing not to like. I wanted to have a 24 hour stay there!

Beautiful building and very comfortable rooms. Within walking distance of most everything, even in the sweltering heat of August. Best hotel breakfast in Spain, hands down!!

We asked for a double room and were given a king. The staff was a bit rude about it. But, once we got to the room, noticed that the couch was a sleeper sofa so all worked out in the end.

Todo, excepto: la cafetería y el restaurante no estan a la altura del Parador. El gimnasio, si se le puede llamar asi, tampoco. Es la unica pega por la que en lugar de un 10 tiene un 9.

To have privacy at night from the hallway window looking in, you had to close the windows and the built in automatic electric shade. I had a panic attack because of being trapped in a box. You could not open a window unless the shade was open. Air conditioning went off if you opened it. If you turned on a light, the whole room would light up waking up anyone who may be sleeping with lights right over your face at the head of the bed. We used flashlight to go to the bathroom at night.

Os funcionarios da recepção não se dão ao trabalho de explicar nada. Nem sala do pequeno almoço, nem piscina e nem sequer como ir para o quarto. No check out também não perguntam se gostamos ou não. É pena num hotel desta qualidade não nos sentirmos acolhidos. No pequeno almoço também achei o mesmo. Pouca simpatia e preocupação.

Parador en el centro de la ciudad, moderno, silencioso y acogedor. Personal encantador. El restaurante muy bueno. Perfecto para descansar y conocer Alcalá de Henares.

L’accueil du personnel qui en plus d’une très grande gentillesse manifeste un véritable professionnalisme. Une écoute attentive des besoins du client et une réactivité sans reproche.

Rien à signaler. La perfection n’existe pas dans le système actuel. Il suffit de demander avec gentillesse et politesse et tout le personnel se met en 4 pour satisfaire de son mieux la clientèle

La amplia y cómoda habitación

La zona en el parquing de carga de vehículos eléctricos , no funcionaban como esperábamos, debido a la mala cobertura wifi en el mismo, no se podía conectar la aplicación.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely historical town. The room was clean and modern. The only issue is that the lights dont really make sense (you turn the w/c light on and it turns 2 other lights on) which is annoying in the night. We did lose hot water one night, the staff were very kind with their apology. We weren't told the spa was an extra cost and had to be booked. We wanted to visit the pool the evening of my partner's birthday but it wouldve been 40€ which I think is a bit steep. The outside pool is good with lots of seating and free drinking water, but there's a bit of a wasp problem and my partner got stung by one hiding in the grass. The breakfast was nice but not worth the price (IMO). The bar was reasonably priced and the seating area is lovely. Good location for restaurants, shops and the train station (40mins into Madrid city centre).

Breakfast is overpriced for what is offered. The rooms do not include complimentary tea or coffee sachets, and even bottled water is chargeable. The hotel is also very strict about minibar consumption, with every item billed separately. Considering the room rates, the facilities and inclusions are disappointing. Breakfast options for vegans are extremely limited, consisting mainly of bread, jam and a few basic items, and the staff were unwilling to prepare even a simple vegan dish upon request.

Nos gusta todo de este parador, las habitaciones muy cómodas y modernas, cama muy confortable, la piscina, el parking muy cómodo y amplío, el restaurante, incluso el gimnasio. Todo muy bien.

Tal vez en el restaurante, nos pusieron una ensalada de tomate y aguacate y el aguacate estaba durísimo, no nos lo pudimos comer, pero nos lo cobraron igual, eso no me pareció correcto, la verdad.

Me gusto el servicio del spa, el desayuno y la comida en el restaurante
