Really nice location, close to Fiumicello beach and accessible in 10 minutes walk or they offer a small shuttle service.

The shower was extremely small, my husband barely fit (182cm) so it was slightly uncomfortable.

Nice looking hotel on the outside, pool area is comfortable to relax by. The rooms inside are fairly small and quite a bit older. Bed was ok but not the most comfortable and only had a sheet on top no duvet. Bathroom was tiny – no storage or bench space which made it difficult. Breakfast was excellent, staff bring your choices out fresh and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. They offer pool side drinks in the afternoon which is great. We were charged for borrowing pool towels to take off premises for 2 hours. However this wasn’t explained at the time and was a shock to pay this on check out. No shuttle available in June 2026 which was also disappointing. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the port where there are a lot more restaurants to choose from.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again

Limpio y bien cuidado, con un personal profesional y atento que cuida el trato con el cliente. La ubicación es excelente, a 6 minutos a pie de la playa y a 10, necesariamente en coche, del centro histórico. Dispone de una piscina en la que se puede tomar un café o un coctel para iniciar o terminar la jornada. El desayuno es estupendo. Ha sido una buena elección y repetiremos en en cuanto tengamos ocasión.

The pool and staff service were fantastic. Breakfast each day was beautiful, room was really comfortable.

Other than its proximity to the tiny little town, everything else was quite far away. So we spent most of our time in the hotel rather than seeing the town.

Personnel de ménage bruyant, il y avait beaucoup de bruit dès 8h un samedi matin. On va dans ce genre d’endroit pour se reposer et non pas pour subir des nuisances. Le check out à 10h est inadaptée aussi. Ils devraient s’organiser avec l’équipe de ménage pour pouvoir permette aux clients de quitter les lieux un peu plus tard…

Nice place, cosi rooms and a good service. The hotel is typical italian holiday style, with individually designed rooms, a service breakfast and a nice pool. The hotel is located nearby one of the Maratea Beaches, but not within walking distance. Service is good, Rooms are clean, Breakfast is better than italian average

Italy is known for its warm and welcoming people; but the staff at Hotel Murmann are on another level! Hard working, kind, considerate and helpful; these folks set the bar high and go above and beyond to meet it every day. The property is beautiful - it is immaculate and well cared for and the folks who work here take great pride in putting their best foot forward daily. An incredible breakfast, beautiful grounds and wonderful location make it very hard to leave:-) Grazie to all who made our stay so special.

Heerlijk hotel, zeer vriendelijk personeel, comfortabel bed en top ontbijt (geserveerd aan tafel!!) We waren hier 3 jaar geleden ook. Toen was het ook heerlijk en gaf het ons reden om terug te komen, en nu zeker weer.

Bellissimo Hotel dotato di tutti i confort, bellissima colazione servita. Piscina e prendisoli curati in ambiente suggestivo (vista Cristo di Maratea), spiaggia raggiungibile con pochi minuti a piedi (oppure servizio navetta), personale gentile ed accogliente.

Wir wurden im familiären sehr freundlich mit einem Willkommensdrink empfangen und guten Tipps zu Aktivitäten versehen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral allerdings ohne Meerblick. Zum Frühstück hat man freie Wahl aus einem tollen Angebot an regionalen Spezialitäten. Mit diesem individuellen Angebot wird auch Foodwaste vermieden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns im Hotel Murmann extrem wohl gefühlt und können einen auch längeren Aufenthalt dort vorbehaltlos empfehlen (wir waren 10 Tage dort). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Wichtig zu wissen: Es gibt jede Menge kostenlose Parkplätze im Zufahrtsbereich/Anliegerstrasse! Das Hotel serviert ein umfangreiches und tolles Frühstück a la carte (kein Büffet). Das macht den Tagesanfang sehr entspannend.

The air conditioning in the room was not very effective. It was running but it did not seem to cool the room down at night

The location was great for Fiumicello beach and had a couple of restaurants nearby, as well as a few bars. Perfect for a slow paced relaxing holiday. The swimming pool was nice and the seating area at the front was nice for the evening sun. The staff were all lovely!

Le camere spaziose, pulitissime e funzionali ! Colazione fuori la norma ! Personale accogliente e molto gentile pronto a consigliarti le migliori esperienze da vivere a Maratea ! Ottimo rapporto Qualità prezzo !

Soggiorno fantastico! Abbiamo passato 4 giorni a Maratea in questo hotel e l'accoglienza è stata il punto di forza: tutto il personale è gentilissimo e pronto a esaudire ogni richiesta. La sensazione era quella di tornare a casa ogni sera. Un grazie speciale a Teresa della reception: solare e simpatica, ci ha consigliato il suo 'posto del cuore' ed è diventato subito anche il nostro.

La macchina è necessaria per spostarsi in giro al centro, al porto e alle spiagge ma tutto nelle vicinanze

The hotel is very attractive and spotlessly clean. It’s located between a small beach and a small harbor in a quiet area that has several restaurants and shops. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Private parking is limited and should be reserved ahead but parking is available on a small street the runs beside the hotel.

The breakfast was nothing special but this was the case in virtually every hotel we have stayed at in our 4 week visit to southern Italy.

Accoglienza top dei proprietari, camera pulita e spaziosa colazione ampia e buonissima. Posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro storico e la statua del Cristo redentore inoltre vicino a una spiaggia bellissima e limpidissima! Parcheggio disponibile nei pressi dell'hotel. Tutto lo staff è stato genitilissimo in particolare il Direttore il quale ci ha dato degli ottimi consigli. Consiglio questa struttura ci ritornerei! 😍

Le petit déjeuner du deuxième jouer était sommaire : pas de plat chaud, pain pas très frais. Gros problème d'insonorisation on entendait le voisin ronfler !

the location was walking distance the beach and the port is a short taxi ride. there are some really good restaurants at the harbour. the pool at the hotel is large but unheated so really cold. there is plenty of sun beds and the terrace is spacious.

there is a charge fir parking your car but there is also plenty of free car parking on the streets around the hotel.

Kaltes Wasser am Morgen unter der Dusche ist nicht angenehm. Das Haare-Waschen fiel aus. Das hätten wir bei einem 4-Sterne Haus nicht erwartet. Da es keine Bürgersteige gibt, ist man als Fußgänger im Umfeld des Hotels verloren, da es abseits der Stadt liegt

The Hotel Murman is a hidden gem. The property has excellent views and good jumping point for Maratea. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property itself is well appointed with beautiful artwork and nice swimming pool. We had a lovely ocean view balcony. The breakfast is over the top. So good and lots of options. I highly recommend.

Struttura bella e molto ben curata, dotata di piscina, un delizioso angolo giardino, una zona colazione ampia e accogliente e un terrazzo con vista mozzafiato. La colazione è una vera chicca, difficile resistere a tutte le leccornie messe a disposizione dalla struttura. Il punto di forza del posto è indubbiamente lo staff disponibile e cordiale, sempre attento alle nostre esigenze e a non farci mancare anche qualche coccola.

Darei 6 stelle allo staff per cortesia, disponibilità e professionalità e alla colazione per la varietà e la qualità dei prodotti. Davvero eccezionale. Anche la posizione e la piscina meritano una menzione speciale.

Nulla che sia imputabile all'hotel che si è confermato per la seconda volta un'esperienza estremamente positiva. L'unica pecca è che a partire dalla seconda metà di settembre il servizio dei trasporti pubblici è ridotto all'osso e molti negozi/ ristoranti sono già chiusi. È un peccato perché il posto è bellissimo e meriterebbe più cura e attenzione da parte dell'amministrazione pubblica.
