Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The hotel had an old-style comfortable feel about it. Spacious comfortable quiet bedrooms. There is a fabulous swimming pool and sauna - also a Gym which we didn't use but looked great. Plenty of carparking space and outdoor tennis / Paddle courts
The distance of the hotel from the centre of Wexford town was longer than we had expected.

Food stopped serving at 8.30 on a Saturday night and there was no room service either after this time.This was very early as we were travelling from afar. We had to go into Wexford Town to get takeaway and bring it to the hotel before checking in.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Convenient hotel for a one night stay on a roadtrip. The property and its furnishing is all very classic, maybe a bit antiquated but lovley appointed and gave a s warm and welcoming feeling. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The spa/pool area closes quite early and around the hotel there is really nothing. Need to taxi a taxi or drive for 15-20 minutes to get to town.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Phenomenal. We stayed for 1 night before our ferry home after a few weeks of travelling on the west coast. From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome and comfortable. The entire property is spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. As we were departing early, the hotel provided us with a gorgeous takeaway continental breakfast, which we were very grateful for. The room itself was large and beautiful, with a very comfy bed. The leisure facilities were very welcome after lots of travelling. We were sad to leave and we will definitely return on our next trip.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Staff very friendly and efficient, let us use leisure facilities while we waited for room to be ready, mean while got our room ready early as they knew we had to get ready for an event later that evening. They had new paddle courts, great to seen them been used by all ages. Carvey was very delicious.
Having to decide night before what time you were getting up for breakfast, we were told it was cooked fresh to order but bacon had been cooked for a while before and same with scrambled egg, even though there was nothing wrong with breakfast, it was a generic hotel irish breakfast. Staff were very friendly and you can see they work hard. Even though we hadn't kids with us, I think the kids play area could do with a bit of a facelift.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Pool was nice and spa facilities. Albeit the bubble seating area stopped working on our second day. Bar food/drinks were good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and supplied with plenty of towels, toilet rolls, soaps etc.
Bar food was expensive, quite expensive. Considering 1hr up the road in wicklow it was significantly less for the same if not better main meals. They should do a kids "offer" for a set price, which they didnt, which added to the cost. Breakfast could have been better, for a 4 star hotel, the fruit to go was literally rotten. Kids weren't impressed with the breakfast options. Rooms were small for families of 4 and no air con, Considering the summer has been very hot in ireland this year fans could have been provided. I have stayed in 4 star hotels which have a much higher standard or accommodation and food options. Only 1 restaurant/bar was open, so it was that or go into Wexford town to eat.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026We had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary and everyone made us feel so special down to the very taughtful gestures like our anniversary treats in our room and a special anniversary dessert. We had a very relaxing stay and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Also the breakfast staff were exceptional!
We would have preferred maybe a small fridge in our room but thats just a personal preference.

Booked a twin room, however, we got a room with two single beds practically stuck together. No room for a sheet of paper to fit in between beds. No option to move beds apart either due to fixtures and fittings in room. Room was very small and stuffy. Noise, we heard every step, cough, talking, movement from the room upstairs directly above our room. Not a great experience and difficult to sleep.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Wir bekamen im Hotel kein Zimmer mehr obwohl wir gebucht haben. Es wurde uns dann im Nebenhaus ein einfaches angeboten.wir bekamen dann aber 50.- vom Hotel zurückerstattet. Der Preis war trotzdem viel zu teuer.

Very busy had to wait for a table for dinner. Felt this hotel is probably better suited to families than a couple. Taxi was required to head into the town so worth noting for socialising. TV wasn’t working properly in the room but otherwise a nice stay.
