Room was very small. Bathroom door wouldn't shut easily and creaked very loudly when opening/closing. Constant noise - doors banging all over the hotel from 6am to well after midnight. Either get the joiners in to fix the door mechanisms or at least put signs in the bedrooms to ask people not to slam doors. The breakfast room was very cramped and crowded Wasn't a pleasant experience. Which was a shame as the food was nice. Dont think I'd stay here again.

The tiny bathroom as you couldn't actually open the door because the sink was in the way! Room temperature...either too hot or you opened the window and it was too cold. A very horrid lift! Although the food was very tasty...the menu was small and it got a bit boring. Very tiny outside space.

Room service sandwiches. They were not freshly made. The bread was slightly stale it would have been fine for a toastie. The ham and cheese one contained 2 thin slices of ham and 1 thin slice of cheese, no mayo no mustard offered.The chicken was has plenty filling but was very dry needed a sachet of mayo ETC…. Other wise the food was good

Lift door closed and lift wouldn’t work for a few minutes. Rang the bell several times & no help came. We eventually got it open. Room was quite small. 4 p.m check in is quite late.

We discovered a strong smell of urine in our room and at first thought it was from the bathroom so we air freshed and shut the door and went out to eat. My wife could not sleep during the night because of the constant aroma in the morning we stripped down the second bed only to discover it had been urinated in by a previous guest the bed had clearly be remade and covered without steam cleaning or any other sanitisation!! We reported the matter to reception and the young lady assured us that it would be dealt with and they would be in touch we never heard a word. She did apologise on behalf of hotel but this is simply not good enough. The.mattress should have been discarded. Never again!!

Not only had the room been clean to a poor standard, the bathroom was a health hazard. Room felicitys in for poor state of repair. Burned Iron. All booking.com customers put in old rooms on 5th floor while customers who booked direct with hotel get new refurbished rooms.

Manky carpet on floor room 513.could not have been further away from reception.problem for elderly with walking dificulty. Resteraunt because we hadnt booked in advance. Had to wait for an hour to be Seated and another half hour for order to be taken. Soup bread and butter took 3 ten minute intervils by waitres.

We found hair on the bed clothes, hair on the carpet, the pool wasn't a comfortable temperature for a child, it wasn't heated enough, and there's no playground or kids' area.

Room wasn't clean. Dirty mirror, hair all over the bathroom, soap scum in the shower. The carpet had many stains and wasn't hoovered fully. Bunk bed steps were black from traffic. The mattress in the bed collapsed when lying on it. When I checked in, at evening time the corridor outside my room had breakfast trays that clearly had been sitting there all day and didn't get removed until late morning. The vent in the bathroom was covered in dust. For the price I expected a higher standard.
