The Lodges at Castle Lodge

Great location, within easy walking distance of the main town and had parking too. The lodge was well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable too.

Nothing to dislike. I kept getting requests to update my payment details but couldn’t get the link to work. I didn’t get a response from the property when I messaged them about the issue but payment was fine on arrival.

Great reception by Rachel and again this morning at brekky. She is a real asset. My room was very comfy and had everything I needed. The other staff at brekky were also prompt and friendly.

Location was perfect particular in comparison to competitors! Kitchen facilities were great and the bed was very good.

We were there during a heatwave and all we had was a small fan to help keep cool, no air con (obviously its Ireland) our room strangely had no mirror outside of the bathroom and no full length mirror, and the room was always dark even with the lights

Stairs are very narrow to carry luggage. No breakfast included for the booking price. For ladies, the biggest problem is the lack of mirrors. There's only one small round mirror in the bathroom without sufficient light to do the makeup. You should have a full body size mirror inside the bedroom.

Douchekop en regendouche hebben vernieuwing nodig, lekt aan alle kanten. Tijdens ons verblijf was het erg warm, de aanwezige kleine ventilator bood maar weinig verkoeling.

We loved everything, from the location of lodge down to the smell of the towels..absolutely everything! Its a must! Highly highly recommended!

The apartment is in a very central part of Killarney. It was really handy for going out in the city centre, and hiring bikes for a day out in the parks. The room is lovely and has a nicely equipped kitchen.

Unfortunately, the apartment doesn’t have any sound proofing, so is not ideal for a light sleeper. The hotel room doors can be heard very clearly, and on a hot day the sounds from the main road are quite loud.

Great location right in the centre of Killarney with parking at the door. Apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Aside from a small bathroom mirror there are no mirrors in the apartment, I couldn’t do my hair or make up which was a pain. The pillows and bed were quite uncomfortable. A mirror or 2, a mattress topper, some softer pillows and this apartment would be perfect.

The apartment would benefit from a full length mirror somewhere as the only mirror in the whole apartment is above the sink in the bathroom.

Lots of noise, you could hear everything. Pipes, people, doors, could hear the people in the room next to us a lot, music one night, right next to the stairs where the staff were coming in and out of and the door was slamming early in the morning. Fire alarm went off very early one morning

Breakfast was excellent, way too much to finish eating. Location was perfect, 2 short blocks to downtown area where Pubs and Restaurants are located.

We stayed in lodge 1, which we found the decoration not to our liking. The decoration was to dark for our taste and meant we had to have light's on during daylight hours. Ironically at the night there was an emergency light just inside the door that lit the room up like a light house. Luckily there was someone on duty who was able to cover it up.

Great location to explore Killarney. The apartment is spacious enough for 2 adults + 1 kid. The kitchen is well equipped, there's also a coffee machine with complimentary coffee and tea Gentle staff: we found a red spot on the blanket and referred it to the receptionist, they were so kind to change our bed immediately

There was dust on the floor and the dishes were not well washed. Cleaning should be improved. The bed isn't very comfortable for us, there is a hard mattress

The location and facilities were perfect! We could walk everywhere, and we had room to relax in the apartment. We enjoyed having the freedom to walk to pubs and restaurants or cook for ourselves at the Castle Lodge.

Great location for exploring one of the best towns in Ireland. Staff were lovely.

Room was quite dingy and the light from the emergency exit in the room meant it was almost daylight at night. We changed rooms for the 2nd night.

Beautiful apartment within a small hotel property, fully usable kitchenette and very comfortable bed and living areas. It was the perfect blend of private apartment and boutique hotel ambiance with a friendly lobby staff. Totally quiet even though it is right on the busy road. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the apartment (basically 4 rooms!) and beautiful mix of modern and classic styling. Convenient parking and location close to everything. 5 minute walk to busy shopping/eating district or peaceful park setting, 10 minute drive to bigger grocieries or more rugged national park options. Perfection!

Would be helpful to have the exact address or eir code on bookings.com so we knew exactly where to go.

Modern and comfortable

It was cold there with no options to put on heating. Had to check out at 10am. There were no regular channels on tv in living room

The one thing the property was missing for me is a full length mirror, maybe on the inside of a wardrobe door??

We stayed in one of the Lodge rooms, which includes a kitchen area. These were roomy, with plenty of room to spread out. Slight downside for our room was that it fronted a busy street, but we slept ok. Kitchen was well-equipped enough to cook a breakfast with no issues. Bring your own oil though. Good location.

Ideal location! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-equipped apartment: bedroom, living room, kitchen, eating area, bathroom. The kitchen has everything one could need. Great value!

It is a great location

My wife and I stayed in a studio apartment for a couple days which was in a great walking location and close to Killarney Park. Lots of parking out front and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

We stayed in a studio apartment which had a well-outfitted kitchen. The only negative for the unit was that the entire unit is painted black. It doesn't have very many windows for natural light so it felt a bit gloomy. Changing the paint color would make an enormous difference.

unfortunately we werent told that we need to switch the fridge on ourselves so we packed our food in not realising it wasnt on and therefore the next mornign our food was warm and gone off.

Excellent location for restaurants etc. and attractions. Enjoyed proximity to the park. Good to have some outside space to use. Apartment nice and spacious with everything we needed.

300mtr to town centre, room at back so heard no traffic noise if there was any.

Whole place rattled when any of the fire doors or front door closed. Only one pot in kitchen area, we needed two, fry pan and baking trays were there.

Staff very helpful , made it easy to check in. The apartment lovely and clean ,staff left lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Location close to everything..nice cafe ,bars close by. Thank you ladies ! ! I
