Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The location was excellent and the room was quite spacious for a twin room. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The food in the bar downstairs was excellent.
While the location was in the centre of town, it was noisy, particularly on a Saturday night! The carpet was pretty dirty, so bring slippers!

We didnt include breakfast in our booking so she added with no extra charge. Rooms were comfy & clean. We had dinner 1 night and meals were beautuful. Overnight Parking across road was easy.

The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and varied. I will definitely be back!! Can’t recommend highly enough.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the size of the hotel as it looks small from the outside. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant downstairs the night we stayed there. I would highly recommend Murphy's!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026This is my 4th time staying at Murphys! I always stay here when I have friends visiting and we go to Killarney. Book in advance because it’s always sold out! It’s amazing because they have great live music every night at their pub downstairs, but the rooms are so quiet and noise free. Comfy beds and best of all the most delightful staff! Will come back here again and again; first choice in Killarney!!

La camera che ci hanno assegnato, pur essendo molto confortevole, affacciava sul una corte interna e su un tettino ahimè pieno di escrementi di piccione. Il bagno molto piccolo (larghezza circa 70-80 cm) con un lavandino microscopico e molto basso che per me che sono quasi 190 cm era veramente scomodo. Peccato !

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026the whole staff was very helpful and nice. they gave us suggestions on where to go and how to wash our clothes. the food was very good we ate there for breakfast and dinner. the location was ideal for being able to walk around and see the sights and do some shopping.
the only complaint was the shower was so small it was difficult to bend to wash your legs/feet.

Our room got very hot and there was no real venilation. At check in, unloading the car was stressful due to the parking/traffic.
