5-en voltunk, egy 2 személyes és egy 3 személyes szobát akartunk de azt mondták csak 2 személyesek vannak. Így kénytelen voltam 3 szobát kivenni. Aztán a szobában kiderült hogy az egyikben 3 ágy van. Lementem a recepcióra hogy elég lenne 2 szoba, nem engedték. Komoly ráfizetés volt!!!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025It is ON the canal. We could see the canal from our bed! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved staying here, in the absolute center of the city! So close to shopping and places for canal tours and canal boat rentals. And the restaurants!
There was nothing we didn’t like. However, we enjoy a laid-back experience and can deal with happy noise. More electrical outlets would be useful. People should be aware that there is a student orientation in the second week of August so the town fills with joyful young people.

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025Het hotel ligt pal in het centrum van Leiden, aan het water. Er rijden weinig wagens in het centrum: je kan er rustig wandelen. Het hotel heeft geen eigen parking, maar je kan de wagen parkeren op een parking aan de rand van de stad en er is een gratis shuttledienst die je aan het hotel afzet. Mooie oplossing. We wilden de bezienswaardigheden van de stad verkennen. Daarom hebben we een uiitgestippelde stadswandeling gekocht in het VVV kantoor. Er is echter zoveel te zien, dat we absoluut nog eens moeten terugkeren, wellicht naar hetzelfde hotel.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2025Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Der Service gut. Den Hotelgästen steht ein kostenloser Shuttlebus zum Parkplatz zur Verfügung; das ist super. Der Parkplatz ist etwa in 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein schöner Spaziergang. Unser Zimmer war groß, gut möbliert und befand sich im 2. Stock. Wir haben sehr gut und ruhig geschlafen. Das Hotel liegt an einer der schönsten Grachten. Es gibt zahleiche Lokalitäten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alles bestens! Gerne wieder!

Reviewed Jul 13, 2025Prachtige ruime kamer. Uitstekende locatie tussen twee afspraken in het centrum. Levendige omgeving in historische binnenstad. Gastvrije ontvangst en op de morgen van vertrek goed ontbijt.
Niet echt een kritiekpunt. De kamer was op de derde verdieping en er was geen lift. Geen probleem voor mij en de receptie bood ook nog hulp aan.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2025De locatie is erg goed. Leuk historisch pand. Behulpzaam personeel, er was een vergissing met de kamer wat werd rechtgezet. Matrassen zeer goed. Geen eigen parkeervoorziening, maar wel goede deal met een parkeerterrein op 10min lopen. Er zijn ook gratis shuttles.
Kamers zijn wat gehorig, maar dat hoort bij zo'n oud pand. Helaas hoor je het geluid van buiten ook behoorlijk, alsof je ramen open staan.

The hotel was very old. The room was on the second floor and there were no lifts. The stairs were quite steep. The room only offered twin beds and had bunks beds also in the room despite the fact that it was just the two of us. We wanted a double bed however there was none available apart from an attic room. The room was quite dated particularly the ensuite and we had to ask for items that should have been in the room. The photos on Booking com did not match our experience. As we were coming to Leiden for a specific occasion we were very central and that was most important.

It’s in a busy area which means there can be noise from alleyway bars if you’re on that side of the building and want to keep your windows open in hot weather.

Bedroom could do with a lick of paint, not up to the high quality finish of the bathroom and the reception area.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2025Hotel Miverva is een mooi hotel met prettige lobby en prima eetzaal. Het mooiste eraan is dat het in 5 voormalige oude stadspanden zit die intern met elkaar verbonden zijn. De locatie is gewoon geweldig: hartje centrum Leiden. Alle leuks op loopafstand. De auto hadden wij op een central parkeerplaats gezet. Vanaf daar kun je prima lopen naar het hotel, maar er rijdt ook een pendelbusje.
enige tip die ik nog kan geven: plantaardige melk en yoghurt toevoegen aan het ontbijt.

Het slot van de badkamer was niet goed waardoor een van ons opgesloten kwam te zitten. Het personeel heeft met gereedschap de deur weer open gekregen. Maar wat tegenviel is dat er geen excuses of iets werd aangeboden. Ook niet de dag erna toen ik opmerkte bij het uitchecken dat dit was gebeurd en vervelend was. Alleen dat ze het gingen oplossen. Het is natuurlijk goed dat het is opgelost maar eigenlijk zou dit niet mogen gebeuren. Dus de reactovan het personeel vind ik totaal niet inlevend en servicegericht.

Steile Treppen in höhere Stockwerke nicht für mobilitätseingeschränkte Gäste geeignet oder großem Gepäck (dann ist Personal behilflich). Statt Dusche hier Badewanne (über den Rand zu steigen nicht für jeden geeignet).
