Room was clean and easy walk to town.

For the money we paid i would have thought we would have some sport channels on the TV. Spa bath very average

The location was good

Their was mould around the shower skirting and the buttons for flushing the toilet had some kind of would or built up scum left on them. The noise from a shower and running tap from the room next door, every time they ran a tap, or had a shower ir flushed the toilet, we could hear the water pressure.

Excellent lakeside location and close to town amenities. Comfortable, clean and good value for money. Check in experience was well organised and good communication throughout.

Crockery and glassware a little disorganised with wine glasses and tea cups all of different sizes… could save the fights over who gets the bigger by providing matching sets!

The bed was uncomfortable. The sky sport kept glitching. The heatpump seemed like it couldn't go over 22 degrees and the spa bath jets were faulty ( took so long to operate and then wouldn't power off)

Cleanliness, location, kitchen, 2 beds, value for money. Ground floor was great, as I have an injury. Everything you could need.

Bathroom door didn't slide, but didn't matter for us.

It has an EV charger and stunning view

I suggest placing a reasonable-sized sign that states EV car park only. I knocked on everyone’s door at the property looking for the owner of the non-EV car who parks at the EV charger space. Luckily, the car owner was apologetic and moved his car immediately so I could charge my PHEV vehicle.

Bathroom quite outdated, also need to climb into spa bath (higher than average bath) to shower.. Room we had not very private, unless you close the curtains. Odd smell to room (not bad, just odd)

That i didnt have to walk far to go to touch the lake. And the spa bath but in the pictures I thought it would be a bit bigger.

Our room had a weird smell like dampness or maybe mould? I couldn't tell what it was, I think the room needed to be aired out or something. It was our first time doing self check in which was kinda sketchy I didnt like that we had to send card details over the phone but it is what it is.

I was looking forward to the spa bath but that didn't function well, it wouldn't go off so I was in a raging pool. The main bed was hard & the small bed was very soft you couldn't sleep in it.

Location is great, price was low as it was a mid week booking. No staff onsite, self check-in and the manager or owner called me directly around 6pm to advise me about the self check-in as I had booked through Bookings.com and she was unsure if I had all checkin information.

Strong smell of curry in the room, couldn't tell if it was the room or the air con unit as we switched heater on straight away due to cold weather. We had to dispose of all rubbish from our room, I thought this was a bit odd having to do part of the cleaning process? Outside bins were at the entrance of the motel out on the front road. Room decor needs modernizing as very outdated, and bed was hard.

Felt a bit grimy Staff were rude There was no way to securely share credit card details. The staff required these to be text or emailed before releasing check in information. It is not secure to send credit card details this way and opens up credit card fraud. Only other option was to go to another hotel owned by same people. We did this and the staff were rude

The bathroom is freezing, the fan is so old you can see through it and the window frame seals are non existent, the toilet seat is very budget. The heat pump took forever to heat up and I almost gave up on getting any hot water out of the tap.

Location is good very quiet and peaceful area.

Blanket are so dirty. There is hairs in the blanket. Blanket smells very bad.

Location and convinience of E-check-in

The outside lights were on all night letting far too much light in. The bed was buggered (springs) sunk to the middle. The shower door could do with a simple fix as it catches on the bottom of the shower. Which clearly it has for quite some time.

Just a bit of confusion with getting room key. Confusion was communication from booking.com who should have have stated clearly to call the property ....

White bright spotless inside & out.

Room provided everthing i needed even a spa.. very surprised by this...

I thought i had booked a room with a balcony lakeside view but it was far from that. It was a room down the driveway and you could only view the lake if you walked outside of the room to a little balcony area provided for all guests to use.

Location was incredible, view was stunning, house was perfect for the night.

We used all the hot water with just running one bath. Heaters in each room would have made a huge difference to the kids as they woke up freezing.

The room was very clean and quiet (had unit at the back). The bed was extremely comfortable.

It was absolutely perfect! Will stay again. I was in the apartment, it was cosy and big. Perfect for me and my friends.

Upstairs ensuite window you might want to go cover with a towel you can see another two story next door same height, probs be able to see you in the shower at night while the lights on, there’s netting BUT can’t really trust it 😅

I booked a superior suite with a lake view and a private balcony. There was no lake view or private balcony.

Paid extra for the spa bath which didn’t work. The single bed was disgustingly uncomfortable and old. The springs of the bed were digging into her back

Property is really well located on the lake, close to restaurants and the main street of Taupo. Rooms for well appointed, electric blanket blankets on the bed for the cold night was a nice touch. Overall a good stay

Great location easy walk to town

Stayed two nights and only had hot water for the first night. Kitchen was too basic, very restricted on what you can cook/prepare. Beds are hard and as we stayed in the winter no extra blankets. Only one bedroom had a heater and the heat pump downstairs does not heat upstairs. Remotes had flat batteries so we had to buy some to get the TVs working.
