Noisy holiday makers above our room. Lower secondary entrance ..quite dangerous.

Nice place, view and the serenity make everything worthwhile.

Everything was great. Andre was exceptionally congenial and helpful. Breakfast was very good and even included a great view.

Stunning views over Simonstown. Very comfortable. We were the only guest, so had full access to the lounge and outdoor patio.

Heerlijk appartement, op een veilige plek en met een mooi uitzicht op de haven van Simons Town. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft een heerlijk balkon. Simons Town is een erg leuke plaats, met een gezellig winkelstraatje. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bijvoorbeeld Kaap de Goede Hoop en Boulders Beach en Vishoek.

Очень красивый вид! Удобные кровати. Отзывчивый персонал. Уборка каждый день. Очень не хватает стиральной машинки, но предлагается услуги прачечной, что удобно, но за доп.плату. Однажды приходили обезьяны, для нас это было интересно. В целом всё хорошо.

Но когда на улице высокая температура, то очень жарко.

Krásný výhled, skvělá klidná lokalita. Nádherná terasa. Krasne průměrné ubytování .

Zastaralý nábytek, vadil mi zatuchlý smrad, nevěděli jsme, že obývací pokoj je sdílený. Naštěstí se vedle ubytovali až po času našeho odjezdu. Spousta schovaných komárů, za to ale majitel nemohl. Takže repelent s sebou.

En stor lägenhet som hade fin utsikt över havet. Trevlig ägare till boendet. Stannade bara en natt då vi var på resande fot men det räckte.

Amazing place with a breathtaking view. The host was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything and show us around. We felt very welcome and would love to come back.

Very nice place to stay in. Great view of the ocean from the balcony, comfortable beds, close to Boulder beach and plenty of restaurants (but you need to drive)

It would be great if kitchenware could be renewed. Now it is a bit worn out. But it is not really a problem as lots of nice places to eat or take away nearby.

Beautiful seaviews Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom and private balcony which was great It's a bit dated which didn't bug us at all because it was so clean and neat and honestly very beautiful Great place to be if you want to see the penguins in Simon's town and day trips to Cape point, Chapman's peak, Hout bay and Cape town are easily done from here. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Wow... een echt thuis, ver van huis. Zeer smaakvol, gezellig en huiselijk ingerichte accommodatie. Van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren heel graag langer gebleven. En het uitzicht.... adembenemend!

Vista inacreditável de Simon's Town e da False Bay. Lugar situado na encosta das montanhas e repleto de natureza e ainda assim muito próximo das principais atrações turísticas da cidade. O acesso necessita de carro, pois fica no alto do morro.

A unidade fica em um prédio com apartamentos separados, no formato Guest House. O proprietário possui acesso ao apartamento por uma porta interna. A porta fica mantida fechada, mas não podemos trancá-la por dentro, o que não impede que o anfitrião ou funcionários acessem o local de forma inadivertida, prejudicando a privacidade dos hóspedes. Um fechamento interno dessa porta, pelo lado do hóspedes, resolveria o problema e impediria que qualquer acesso indesejável ocorresse. Também tivemos problemas com a limpeza das cobertas.

This was such a beautiful vacation spot nestled in a scenic coastal town. Perfect sea side getaway. Amazing views and so relaxing! Definitely book this place again!

The view is sensational! The property is high up in Simon’s town, so you’re near the mountain and the view across the harbour and false bay is incredible! Most incredible mattresses, pillows and bedding. Beautiful well furnished apartment! Patio furniture, lovely couch, oven etc!

Lots of steep steps to get to the apartment - which can be a challenge. All steps had hand railings which helped!

Each room has a private balcony! The harbour view is wonderful. Beautiful trails in the area, loved hiking there. Lovely beach sunrise after a comfortable restful night.

Great place! Amazing view! More space than we needed! Andre was fantastic at welcoming us and giving us fabulous recommendations for dining and activities. Felt fantastic spending time in Simon's town. Stay down here. See the penguins and the Cape. Sure, you can drive up to Capetown, but stay here!

Quiet area, large apartment, best views in town.

The view is absolutely outstanding. Very homy vibe inside the cottage. Excellent location close to Boulders Beach. André is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. He served an excellent breakfast. This venue is highly recommended.

Very steep steps down to the cottage. It was difficult to get our luggage up and down.

The location was good, with a beautiful view. Beds were comfortable.

We were a bit disappointed to see our room after we saw the pictures of the accommodation. Have a read at the facilities before booking, don’t only look at the pictures as they are not 100% correct. We also felt a bit uncomfortable in our room as the two hotel rooms were connected by a door, which felt like a bit of an invasion of privacy as we could hear everything going on next door.

A fantastic position with a stunning view of Simonstown and False Bay below. Comfortable, well equipped self catering cottage.

Not a complaint, but there was no plug for the kitchen sink, or at least I couldn't find it. Had to borrow the bath plug.

We got rebooked last minute to another flat for "unforeseen circumstances". Unfortunately, we agreed to the rebooking. The alternative flat was dirty, old, creepy and not what we expected at all. Luckily we only had to spend one night there. In that sense an unreliable host and I would not book with them anymore.

Very comfortable stay as usual. It was our second time at Albatross Guesthouse and we will be back again! Great view and great location!

A great place to stay in Simons Town and explore the cape of Good Hope! Excellent sea view from the terrace and the house itself has a charm!

The view was beautiful and it was very cosy. It was very close to all the suburban spots - Muizenberg/ Hout bay etc . Loved the view!! Sunset and Sunrises were beautiful. Andre was great and check in and out were super easy!

It has the most beautiful view of Simon’s Town harbour and the whole False Bay.

The view from the terrace on Simonstown's harbour is exceptional. The house itself is very comfortable and well equiped: 2 rooms with their own bathroom. Ideal to accomodate a family of 4. Cape sugarbirds in the garden. Free parking in front of the house. Nice restaurants on the waterfront.

Just be aware that downtown is 2 km away. A car is very useful to drive up and down.

Sink did have a plug but did not fit. Unit needs some new utensils i.e. grater. No DSTV although advertised in booklet.

Albatross House offered us with an amazing apartment including all necessary facilities and comfort we were looking for ! What was special was the breathtaking view across False Bay and Simons Town harbour from up above due to the higher up location of the apartment and the three balconies in front of each of the bed rooms as well as the living room! Our host Andre was extremely welcoming, always easy to get in touch with and hands-on. He also went out of his way to help us after we had forgotten our iPad in the apartment!

This is not specific to Albatross House - however due to security reasons we had to lock the apartment and garden twice from the 'inside' which we as Europeans are simply not used to... also: beware of Baboons when driving slowly, having your window open and food inside the car... ;)

Great location with a wonderful view, well appointed flat with everything you could possibly need and nice modern bathrooms. Good wifi reception and TV complete with Netflix access. Check in was easy and the owner even sent a video explaining exactly how to access the property as we were arriving late. The property also felt very safe.

Not much to complain about really. You should be aware that the property is on a fairly steep hillside and there are a few steep steps down from the road to the flat. Also the cleaner entered the property in the morning unexpectedly (at least for us). Wasn't really a problem, just a bit surprising that suddenly there was somebody in the flat. :-)

The internet was a bit slow and unstable. An iron and an ironing board could have been helpful. A cheese grater would round off an excellent stocked kitchen.

Distance from the main centre , especially as on steep hill. Need a taxi to go anywhere, which is not a big problem.

the host is a nice person. cool guy.

1. very old, two pipes at the sink, one hot one cold. no warm water. 2. the shower place has no door, it’s very cold when taking the shower, my daughter got sick after taking shower, 39 degrees fever, we drove 40 mins to the emergency room that night at 1 am. 3. too many stairs and they are high. very dangerous for kid to walk. we have two big luggage, it took me 20mins to get them to the room through those stairs. 4. too close to the dock, nice view but the dock repairs ships or something everyday from early morning, so the noise is very loud and annoying, it last the whole day. 5. the neighbors are loud at night, I can hear them talking and laughing at 10pm, difficult for me to sleep. 6. a bit expensive for a small town like that. almost same price as Camps Bay which is the most expensive area in Cape Town.

The view is absolutely amazing, and the apartment is large and well-furnished. Load shedding lamps were very useful!

Fantastic views and protected from the wind. You can walk to the village using the steps and footpaths. Welcoming hosts and lovely spacious apartment. We loved our stay.

Million dollar view from a huge balcony, comfortable bedrooms each with an ensuite, large lounge room and a full kitchenette. The host was amazing, gave us lots of useful info and recommendations. We left a shirt behind when checked out, and the host rang us straight away and arranged to have the shirt dropped off to us while we were still in the neighbourhood. Can’t fault this place, 10/10 and one of the best stays in South Africa!

Baboons raiding the houses in the morning and stole some food from the neighbours. Please make sure you shut all the doors!

Very accommodating, friendly owners, spectacular views, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend
