The room was lovely and very quite for us

The hotel was tired and in need of renovation

Staff helpful abd friendly

Despite the confirmation that the two rooms I had booked were going to be next to each other, the receptionist was unable to find that confirmation on the system and initially allocated two rooms on different floors. It was only when I showed her the initial confirmation received, the was able to allocate two rooms on the same floor, but 6 rooms apart.

Ideally situated for the M1 but quiet. Rooms on 2nd floor have air conditioning which is a bonus. Spacious, airy, clean room with comfortable bed. Usual tea, coffee, and biscuits. DBB rate was good and food simple but delicious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, it's much appreciated.

Very well placed and very clean. Staff extra helpful especially Mollie on reception. Nice to have a moveable shower rather than a rain shower which warts your hair even if you don’t want it to.

Difficult to dry your hair with the hairdryer supplied while keeping the button pressed down to keep the machine on

Faulty lift door trapped my arm, painful at time. Staff aware and correct procedure followed. Will be back

The hotel is advertised as having airco. The lobby is cold, but the rooms do not have airco and not even ventilation. One has to open the window but this on´y lpens partkally.

Well Presented common areas.

The room absolutely stank of cigarettes coupled with attempts to mask it by cleaning products. The whole decor and curtains need changing. The hotel just said we could go somewhere else and get our money back if we wanted. We were going to a bday party close by and had zero time to look for somewhere else. The smell made us feel sick. Poor showing from the hotel in their reaction to the situation. My guess is that they wouldn’t stay in it.

It was well located for what we wanted to do which was visit cannon hall farm which we did

Paid for a room with air con, no air con in room provided. Would not change my room, apparently full, certainly didn’t look full. Room was dirty, plumbing issue with toilet and sink, blocked throughout . Waiters 1.5 hrs for evening meal, finally delivered at 10pm ! Sirloin steak was not sirloin and inedible

All the staff were very helpful, food very nice and tasty nice and hot.

The room very hot as there was no air-conditioning we asked for a fan which was not much help, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the pillow were not very good I have same old pillows at home. The wet room, as I am disabal, the floor was very slippery, need upgrading. Could do with 2 armchairs in the rooms. We have started in this hotel 4 times and this was the worst stay glad to be home for a good night's sleep.

The room cost shot up within the last few days - i did find it very expensive and did consider hotels which were half the price.

How close it’s to the m1

Not dog friendly room only and the only air con is in the bar area where you are not allowed. Do not make you aware when they have events on and it’s not going off until 11pm and you have a 1 year old and they place you in the room right above the function! When you complain they can’t do anything!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was OK, but the hot food wasn't brilliant.

I thought the hotel looked tired, needs a refrubshment. The bar area wasn't great and the beds weren't comfortble. Rooms were clean but in need of modernising, the air conditioning wasn't effective and appeared old.

It is an old building. The drainage system in the bathroom sink was smelling like sewage.The domestic needs to wash the bath tub , it was dirty and sliding when I was about to take a shower . I had to wash it before I had a shower .

Location and ability to use iron. Sraff were good.

Cleanliness in general was good, howevee. Inner doors and bath panel dirty. Hotel noisy as function was going on. Well used a maybe a little dated.

The place is extremely clean and modern, I need to add the duty manager that seems to work when I stay over us 1st class and customer service from him and his colleagues are exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.

Some of the minor details like the sealant looked like it needed replacing. There was a table too close to the bed and easy to walk into when you go to the loo in the night.

Pleasant stay in well appointed, comfortable room. Friendly staff and excellent cooked breakfast.

Heating left on full in 27° heatwave! Fortunately we were able to turn off and get air con working.

Location was good. Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean. Hand soap, shower gel and shampoo were full size and more than enough for a stay. Property was quiet. Restaurants on sight. Gym next door you can get a day pass

No amenities such as refrigerator or microwave. Beds were a bit stiff. The hair dryer was in the desk drawer nowhere near the bathroom. It was odd.

Secure bike storage was available.

The lady on arrival was so lovely to us and helped recommend some places to go while we we're out that evening. Really appreciated the help and her overall presence. Our room was nice, we we're a little to hot in the night but switched the Aircon on so was ok. Comfy sleep. Breakfast in the morning was a small buffet style but plenty of options to fill out tummy's.

Staff in reception were excellent. Martha was brilliant, extremely polite and professional. All the restaurant staff were polite too. Breakfast was hot with a good choice The shower in the bathroom was very good.

The room was a little dated. Could do with an update. The bath panel looked in a little poor condition and not sure the air conditioning unit was working properly.

EV charging points which worked well + security lighting while using them receptionist volunteered to move me to a quieter room as there was a wedding disco going on , I appreciated this very much better food than I expected all staff very pleasant
