Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Comfy bed, great water pressure in the shower. Small table in the room allowed eating in with a microwave, electric jar, toaster and plates and cutlery provided. Parking right outside the room meant vehicle was safe

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Host was very helpful. The rooms were modern decor, very clean. Tea coffee making facilities, fridge with complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Safe, off street parking.
Cutlery was provided as was a microwave which was great, however, it would have been helpful to have a couple of plates.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The location was perfect for us! The rooms were all clean and tidy. The staff were very accommodating. We loved our stay.
Just that the bathroom didn’t have a fan so we had to open the windows to get rid of the steam. It’s winter so it’s really cold. But that’s just a minor detail. Also would have loved more towels.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026It was very clean and the manager was very accommodating since I had made a mistake with my booking. It was also within walking distance of AUT where I was working.
I couldnt hang up my clothes as there was no rail or hangars in the cupboard where they should have been. The vinyl floor, while very clean, was very cold underfoot. Some rugs or carpet would have been nice. The door lock didnt feel very secure.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Clean, had all the essentials, ground level, and a parking spot right outside your door. Friendly staff.
The door to get into the room was a sliding patio door that was a bit tricky to lock. It didn't seem very secure. Fortunately the neighbourhood seemed safe so I wasn’t overly concerned.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026The staff were friendly Beds were comfy There’s a little supermarket next door and they also do coffee there so that was handy Brilliant heat pump Beautiful forest out the window
I had read the reviews online and was surprised at how different it was in real life. It wasn’t very clean. There was a chocolate wrapper on the floor when we arrived, chewing gum stuck to the lamp and a dirty sock on the ground. The floor felt sticky and gross. We could hear and smell people smoking and coughing right outside our toilet window. The shower had bad water pressure and hard to get the right temperature, it was either too hot or freezing cold and the drain was very slow to drain.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026It was clean. The hand soap had a lovely scent. They changed the towels daily. It had a fridge, toaster, and tea/instant coffee making facilities.
Their was a muck up with our room number when we first arrived (after hours) but this was quickly sorted, but not before I saw the invoice for our neighbours room which was a substancially lower room rate that ours. I went through Trivago and it took us to the Booking.com site for the lowest room rate, so am confused as to why we paid more. The parking for our room was quite narrow and difficult to get in and out of. The shower pressure was extremely low.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the Ocean Inn motel, from arrival to departure. The motel consistently maintained a high standard of cleanliness. It offered a very tranquil environment, and its location was particularly convenient, being situated next to a small grocery store that provided all necessary items. The room was well-appointed with all the essential utensils and cookware. The staff members were exceptionally friendly.
