Unsure of whether it's good value for money

We liked the fact it had car parking, clear and concise instructions on entering the property and our lovely clean large room.A very detailed and informative welcome brochure/pack and plenty of tea, coffee and plenty of milk in the fridge.Outdoor seating was a bonus too.

There wasn’t anything to dislike that we can think of.

Very luxurious- just like the photos. Owners were very friendly and it was nice to escape the big chains. Loved grange over sands, perfect for peach and tranquility.

The photos on the Booking.com app could not do proper justice to the accommodation! The bedroom was much bigger than I expected and contained a table and two chairs which were great for eating at. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedding of a high quality. A large bathroom had a walk-in shower and two sinks. There was a separate area for making tea, coffee etc which also contained a a fridge, microwave and plates with cutlery. The hotel is situated in a quiet area but within easy walking distance of grocery shops, the promenade and the town centre. The accommodation was finished to a very high standard and the welcome basket along with a pint of fresh milk was particularly welcome. The hosts’ communication was excellent. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Bathroom was large with great shower and bath (including jet setting). Generous selection of snacks and tea (including proper milk in the fridge). Very sweet towel swans and petals which wowed us on entrance. Easy parking. Lovely grand hallway. Great value for money.

Our room was huge and beautiful,the bed was so comfy. The decor is beautiful and the location is excellent.

Beautiful everything you needed even some complimentary breakfast bits and milk. We loved the sauna and jacuzzi bath, good walking distance to shops and few restaurants, the Indian was amazing for anyone wanting to try somewhere for tea

Well equiped, nice bathroom. Location was near everything and parking on site is always a bonus

The height of the bed was a bit of an issue; probably should have read the details before booking. The sofa was very hard, but that is an issue with chesterfield-style ones in my experience.

Everything was finished to a very high standard and decorated beautifully. The welcome basket was an excellent touch.

Absolutely spotlessly clean. Fabulous welcome pack which lasted for four days. Nice and quiet. Fabulous spacious bathroom. Also as it was a very hot day, two fans were already running in the room when we arrived, which was very much appreciated. There also was a small discreet area in the garden, with ashtrays provided. The parking at the property was great too.

No handles on the bath. The shower did not have a riser, just the large overhead type shower, which made it difficult for keeping hair dry, but saying that it wasn't really a problem as I just used the spa bath. The bath was ok for me as I am a small person, but anyone taller or larger would struggle, but again not really a problem as there is a very spacious shower. Did find the outlets into the bath for the spa a little uncomfortable.

The Bathroom and Bedroom were nice and spacious. We had room for our dog to sleep. There was adequate parking and everywhere we needed was within walking distance

We did find the kitchen area was a little small and we only had a microwave to cook food in. The fridge was tight fitting all the food we had brought with us, though we managed.

The property was in a perfect location and had car parking which was a bonus. The room was very big and I loved how the owners provided a fee breakfast hamper with milk in a small fridge . The room had a table set up beautifully with crockery & utensils so that we could order a takeaway & eat in the room if required. We didn’t meet the hosts as we were just given an access code to the building & our room but they communicated instructions very well by email & text which suited us. Fans were provided in the room too and they even decorated the bed beautifully with Sean towels & rose petals . I would definitely stay here again.

Other guests being quite noisy. Maybe because hosts weren’t around to monitor . They were up & down stairs all night. Banging doors etc.

Good location. Easy parking, Very easy access . Nice extras,like the fan was on when we arrived on a very hot day. Bedding was good quality. Bathroom with walk in shower was also excellent. Basket of breakfast goods was appreciated.

The property was in the heart of Grange over Sands, with parking at the front for guests. The check in process was simple with a code to enter the room sent through via text, the hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. Upon arrival there was a lovely hamper, clear instructions with the apartment and everywhere was spotless. Fans had been set up to cool the room and this really helped make our arrival comfortable. The jacuzzi bath and sauna were fantastic extras and we certainly made use of these. In the evening we wandered into Grange for a drink and bite to eat, with lots of recommendations provided.

The area and the room were beautiful and very peaceful and relaxing. It was my first trip away on my own and I felt safe and relaxed.

On the Internet it stated there was a sauna and breakfast but I didn't see anything like that but I totally enjoyed my stay!!!

It was superb. The quality and cleanliness was top notch. No corners cut, a welcome basket, huuuge bath! And a sauna as a bonus!

Good night's sleep, fairly clean the odd issue eg sofas not clean,could do with a recycling bin the welcome basket was a nice surprise not having to look for milk was very helpful.

No recycling could do with more than one towel each without having to contact house keeping,spar bath was disappointing.

Although there is a small car park to the front of the property, we struggled with parking. Cars were parked very close to each other and we found it hard to get out of the parking space

Decor was beautiful, and cleanliness was exceptional. It was a perfect place to stay. I wish I had been there for more than one night.

The property is spacious all need are met . Bed lovely band big, kitchens great everything you need for your stay. Bathroom spacious lovely spa bath and double shower with sauna . Highly recommend this apartment. This is our second stay . The surrounding areas is beautiful a few little eateries.

Very clean, huge comfortable bed, fab shower. Good to have a kettle, microwave, and fridge too. Great location, a minutes walk from shops , 2 minutes to the promenade. Easy drive to Wndermere, etc. I also liked the coded check-in and check-out.

The only thing that would have been useful that wasn't provided would have been a dishcloth and washing up liquid as crockery and cutlery is provided.

I like the beautiful building, room and decor. It was exceptionally clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The owners replied promptly to messages. I highly recommend.

Everything. The hosts really have got this right. A beautiful place with a luxurious feel and excellent attention to detail. Well equipped kitchen, everything spotless (oven clean with foil on all the trays), ice in the freezer, fresh milk and a quality welcome basket with lots of treats, as well as essential breakfast items in the store cupboard. More than enough for 2 people. Fabulous. A gorgeous bed with good quality linens, full wardrobe and dressing table with a portable illuminated mirror. Comfy sofa to watch the TV on when relaxing after a busy day out. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful and huge with the most gorgeous tiles, good towels and robes. The bath is something else! Nice touch also with the sauna. Small details like the well written and useful welcome folder also show they have thought everything through very well. Nice little seating area outside and plenty of room to park. Excellent check-in instructions sent 2 days before and followed up.The perfect place for a night of hibernation but also lots of nice places nearby for good walks and good little shops.

The rooms are very nice. The bed is good, the bathroom was large and well equipped, and everything is very clean. The bowl of snacks and the milk is a nice touch. Towel swans are a bit last week these days.

None of the 87 photos makes it clear that there is another set of 12 steps up to the house in addition to those close to the house. There is a sentence in the advertising saying that because of the age of the property there are no accessibility modifications, but without knowing what it is you have to access until you arrive (the 12 plus 6 steps) the information isn’t very helpful. There is also no hint that there is no reception, and particularly no one about to help you with your bag up these steps as well as the internal stairs if you are on the first floor (which we were). So two old women, one disabled, had to lug their case up two flights of steps/stairs with some difficulty. Had we known this we probably wouldn’t have stayed here. The accommodation needs to be much more transparent about this. Being less than clear about it in the advertising is very old fashioned and not what people want these days. We were aware that there was self check-in but that doesn’t automatically mean that there is no one about to help. Also, we stayed two nights and no one serviced our room. You seem to have to guess what’s going to happen here as we didn’t interact with any staff at all, except for a cleaner who asked us if we were checking in on the second day of our stay. And finally I thought I had booked breakfast, turns out I hadn’t, but when it was confirmed a day or two before that I hadn’t I was offered no option to book it then. We got a sense of plenty of effort being made over the room but didn’t really feel welcome

The apartment is stunning, there's loads of room, the bed was very comfy, there was everything you need for a short stay. The breakfast hamper is a lovely touch and the milk left in the fridge was appreciated. Self check in was simple. Spa & sauna are just the icing on the cake really. We would definitely recommend staying here.

It was so cosy, clean, the little touches were so thoughtful and just added that little extra of comfort. Everything you needed was in the property along with a simple guide on how to use everything. The bed was so comfortable and cosy and the spa bath was the perfect bonus.

The decor was a little bizarre, never in my life have I seen a leopard print carpet although I loved it and found quirky my other half was not keen and thought could be modernised a little. The shower appeared a little temprement with pressure and temperature fluctuating a little.

Parking. Easy entrance via code given in advance. Large room. Good accessories. Large sofa in room. wide range of teas and drinks. Snack basket, proper pint of milk and not little packets. Extra heating radiator to turn on any time. Room was beautiful

Downstairs room with very large bay window- Would have liked a simple net curtain on very large window - that could be drawn instead of the heavy curtain. I felt the windows on houses over the road could see into room.

We stayed in Bay Bliss, excellent room, spotlessly clean with an amazingly comfortable bed and pillow selection. Location was excellent and the facilities here made it a really good base for exploring the lakes.

We had a lovely comfortable and cosy stay!
