Sehr nettes Personal. Schönes und sauberes Hotel und Zimmer., nur wenige haben einen Balkon. Die netten Damen in der Rezeption hatten eins unserer Zimmer umgebucht, da es hier zu Missverständnissen kam. Leckeres Frühstück, mehrere Terrassen auf denen man draußen sitzen kann und den Blick auf den Douro genießt. Ruhige Gegend, obwohl direkt an der Hauptstraße. Gut gelegen um mit dem Auto auf alle Weinberge und den ganzen Miradouros Ausflüge hin zu machen. Für Schifffahrten und Zugfahrt liegt Folgosa genau in der Mitte, da kann man von Pinhão und Peso da Régua gut starten. Auch genau gegenüber vom Hotel startet ein Schiff und man kann im Hotel Karten dafür erwerben. Auch gibt es Getränke und kleine Snacks im Hotel. Zwei Restaurants (im September) fussläufig zu erreichen.

Wenn es Gäste gibt, die denken Sie wären alleine auf der Welt, kann es etwas hellhörig sein. Die Hauptstraße hierzu im Vergleich hört man gar nicht.

The hotel is beautiful! We loved everything about it. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

There's nothing we didn't like.

Lovely to be across the way from the Duoro. The room was small but clean. The breakfast staff was so sweet and they accommodated me being gluten free. Easy parking in front. They also leave you Port in your room which is nice.

The pictures made it look like we had a balcony - we didn’t. There was also no window screen so every time we opened the window, wasps got in. So our fantasy of sleeping with the sound of the river was squashed. We didn’t find the common areas of the hotel particularly inviting but that’s not what you’re in the Duoro for. It would also be nice for breakfast to be serviced outside during nicer weather, since they have a beautiful patio. Lastly, being across the port meant that there’s noise and light coming in from that and the being directly on the main road. For us, we would prefer to stay higher up in the valley next time.

Ótima localização, perto das cidades mas fora delas ao mesmo tempo. Fácil acesso.

Por ser um hotel do grupo Pacheca poderia ter mais programas em conjunto com a herdade.

Chambre propre, très bien équipée, literie très confortable. La vue de la chambre était top. Le petit déjeuner était varié et très bon. Facile de se garer lorsque l’on vient en voiture malgré l’absence de parking privé. Très bien localisé dans la vallée du Douro lorsque l’on vient en voiture. Nous y avons passé un excellent court séjour.

Esmorzar molt complert. Instal·lacions noves, modernes i decorades amb molt de gust. Disposa de una terrassa i servei de bar a la recepció ideal per relaxar-se amb vistes al Douro.

L'hotel està a peu de carretera i a mig camí entre Peso de Regua i Pinhao, es imprescindible disposar de cotxe propi. A vegades el trànsit de cotxes o autocars pot ser sorollós des de la terrassa. Encara que això no és cap problema per les habitacions ja que queden lluny de la carretera i estan ben insonoritzades.

Conforto do quarto, silencioso. Café da manha fantástico. Estávamos comemorando 25 anos de casados e ganhamos um upgrade de cordialidade, ficamos em um quarto com varanda de frente para o Douro. Simplemente espetacular. O hotel fica distante o suficiente do borburinho da Ribeira. E perto o suficiente para ir a pé degustar os saborosos pratos servidos nos restaurantes da região. Acesso fácil aos passeios de barco, ônibus turístico e bondinho passam na porta do hotel.

Ter que ir embora.

Die Lage war sehr gut für Ausflüge in das Douro valley. Zimmer waren ok. Man hat sogar einen Portwein bekommen. Das war toll!

Die Kissen waren nicht komfortabel. Preis war insgesamt zu hoch für das was man bekommt.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. * The staff were very polite, welcoming, and always available to help. * The room was comfortable, with excellent bedding and a stunning view of the Douro River and the surrounding vineyards. * The breakfast was very good , with a great variety of high-quality options.

Suggestions for improvement: * It would be nice to offer more and higher-quality bathroom amenities. * The hotel could make better use of its spectacular view by offering a restaurant or at least a small food and wine service. Even a simple menu with light meals and local wines would greatly enhance the guest experience, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beautiful setting.

Es gibt eine kleine aber feine Dachterasse mit Flussblick. An der Rezeption kann man Getränke bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de Douro. Bij aankomst kregen we een upgrade naar een kamer met rivierzicht. Het was een prima kamer, op de kamer stond een fles water en een klein flesje port klaar. We hebben prima gegeten bij het dorpsrestaurant La Bamba. Verder was er alleen een Michelin restaurant open en moest je eventueel verder rijden naar Peso da Régua of naar Pinhao.

Localização maravilhosa, em frente ao famoso restaurante DOC e ao rio Douro. Fui presenteado com um "upgrade", ficando em quarto com varanda e com vista para o rio Douro. Todos da equipe muito solícitos e gentis. Café da manhã maravilhoso. Valeu muito a pena.

Não tem o charme dos hotéis vinícolas ou boutiques da região. É mais um hotel de transito, não ha espaços para entretenimento.

Gostámos muito da experiência. Os quartos são bonitos, espaçosos, limpos e confortáveis. O colchão é fantástico, é um hotel tranquilo e silencioso e as cortinas cobrem toda a luz que entra dentro do quarto permitindo uma boa noite de sono. O pequeno almoço é muito agradável com vista para o rio, e as colaboradoras no pequeno almoço são de uma simpatia e de uma eficácia exemplar. Tem a variedade necessária e tudo o que é servido é de qualidade. Um especial agradecimento à Ivone que nos ajudou no planeamento para o dia da meia maratona. Foi em experiência muito positiva, e recomendaremos o Hotel Folgosa Douro para uma bonita visita ao Douro.

Ondanks doorgaande weg, een rustige locatie met prachtig uitzicht, met toprestaurant voor de deur en mogelijkheid om met het veer naar de overkant te varen. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel met aandacht voor de gasten!

Sehr gemütliches Hotel direkt am Fluss. Nette Atmosphäre, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal.

Das Gebäude ist recht hellhörig, sowohl Gäste auf dem Flur als vor allem auch Gäste in der Etage über einem, die meinten, nachts um 11 ein Wannenbad nehmen zu müssen (laut rauschendes Wasser für 30min) waren sehr deutlich und leider etwas störend zu hören.

Spent a few days here in douro valley. The stay was great. The staff were wonderful, the location central to all that we planned to do. Midway between Pinhão and Régua. Would stay again.

The location is excellent for exploring the beautiful Duoro valley, the room had a stunning view and we loved sleeping with the curtains open to wake up to the view of the glasslike river early in the morning. The staff were so helpful especially with giving recommendations and helping with making reservations- parking was no problem just outside the hotel, enjoyed the variety of food available for breakfast

Hotel moderno e muito bem decorado. Funcionários muito simpáticos e disponíveis. Tudo muito limpo, cama confortável e casa de banho com produtos de qualidade (da marca Rituals) e tudo a funcionar muito bem (água quente, pressão,...). Pequeno-almoço muito bom, com muita variedade e produtos de qualidade. A vista (para o Douro e as encostas) é um regalo e o silêncio permite o descanso de quem procura calma num ambiente relaxante. Ótima localização e passeios de barco mesmo em frente ao hotel.

O Folgosa D'Ouro estava indisponível e nos fizeram um upgrade para outro hotel do grupo, o São José do Barrilário. Que foi excepcional, FANTÁSTICO.

A água da piscina poderia ser um pouco mais quente.

Frente al río, con unas bonitas vistas. Habitacion amplia y confortable, con una cama cómoda. Amplia terraza. El desayuno estaba bastante bien. Aunque el café no era nada bueno. Tiene aparcamiento gratuito frente al hotel. El hotel pertenece a la bodega Pacheca, con lo que venden vinos de Pacheca en la recepción del mismo. Personal amable y atento. Nos recomendaron varios restaurantes por la zona y donde cargar el vehículo. Íbamos para una noche y nos quedamos 2. Muy bien localizado, carretera 222. En vehículo se llega fácilmente a otros puntos de interés.

No tiene carga para vehículos eléctricos. Frente al hotel hay un cargador eléctrico Porche pero no funcionaba. No tiene mini nevera en la habitación. Hay máquina de café en el desayuno pero este no estaba muy bueno.

El hotel está bien situado, a pie de carretera y río, es moderno y tiene una decoración bonita. No obstante, dado su precio y otros inconvenientes, no repetiría en invierno. La atención del personal fue buena y adecuada.

Viajé en enero, la habitación no estaba lo suficientemente caliente, dispone de calefacción, situada encima de la puerta de entrada de la habitación, pero no expande el calor por la habitación, por lo que para ducharte no se estaba en una habitación reconfortable, con la temperatura adecuada, siendo un esfuerzo. Las ventanas hasta el suelo no estaban bien aisladas, le entra agua por debajo, tenían unos pequeños charcos en el suelo.

Perfect location! Highlights were the breakfast, the staff, the attention dedicated to us, the cleanliness, the room, we loved it all!

Pequeno almoço incrível com uma vista magnífica. Funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Prova de vinhos boa e com uma explicação incrível. Ficamos com muita vontade de voltar.

É pena a zona do bar ser tão pequena e fechada. Seria interessante ter a zona de bar na mesma zona que o restaurante. Tem muito espaço, podiam fazer 2 zonas simpáticas e com aquela maravilhosa vista.

Gostamos muito do quarto, com uma cama muito boa, lençois bons, um banheiro ótimo. Tinha um solário com vista muito bonita. O café da manhã era muito bom, com vista pro Douro, com boas opções de queijos e pães. O pessoal da recepção foi muito atencioso. Recomendo muito.

Uma pena não ter restaurante no hotel, e nas imediações não havia muitas opções de locais para comer. Tudo fica muito longe, para se locomover na região somente de carro ou van locada.
