川縁で少し川音が気になった・・・

The room was beautiful and spacious, and very traditional, with tatami floors, a green tea set and kimonos you use while you're there. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. Our room had a huge window with a lovely view of the forest. The onsens were excellent with multiple tubs both inside and outside. The room also had a bathroom which included a bath and shower. The location was great, near the major shrines.

Hôtel luxueux, tout était de qualité : personnel, équipement, localisation etc. Tout était propre et préparé pour notre arrivée.

I only stayed one night, but the staff was so welcoming, from helping me towel off from the rain on the way in to guiding me around for meal times! The food was excellent. I chose the Japanese style dinner and breakfast and both were a good a variety of high-quality options. The views of the mountains and the spacious room meant I was able to relax after a busy day of trains. The onsen was delightful and I could just gush about how relaxing it was to soak outside and listen to the rain. The location is perfect for those looking to explore the Rinno-ji/Toshogu world heritage area. It's also only a 20-30 minute walk to Tobu-Nikko and all kinds of shopping and dining.

It can be a little confusing on how to walk to the hotel from train station. After you've crossed near Shinkyo Bridge, there's a gap in the sidewalk or you have to cross a busy intersection. As you get closer you may have to take a tunnel under the road and then walk down a bit of driveway. It's not terrible, but when you're lost and in the rain it's not the best.

La cena y el desayuno incluidos han sido una maravilla. El trato genial. Y la ubicación es excepcional, en plena naturaleza.

Esperienza in casa tradizionale: spazi molto grandi; onsen separato tra uomini e donne aperto quasi h24 con zone comune, quattro vasche (divise tra interne ed esterne), bagno turco e sauna; cena e colazione in saletta privata con numerose portate tradizionali. La struttura è posizionata a pochi minuti a piedi dal Parco Nazionale di Nikko.

Esperienza molto piacevole e particolare ma rapporto qualità prezzo elevato.

Nikko Senhime Monogatari 日光千姫物語 is a traditional Japanese ryokan onsen hotel, about a 10-minute walk from Nikko’s World Heritage shrine area. The food is good, with half-board including a kaiseki dinner and breakfast, and the hotel has pleasant indoor and outdoor onsen baths. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the building and décor feel a little dated. What struck me most was the surprisingly large number of staff, who at times seemed to outnumber the guests. The hotel also has a piano bar with a pianist performing on both evenings of our stay, yet there were no guests in the bar. It gave me the impression of a hotel designed for a much busier era, perhaps when large group and corporate travel were more common. Today, it feels slightly nostalgic — very well staffed and gracious, but operating on a scale larger than its current number of guests.

朝夜の料理も美味しく、ボリュームもありました。お風呂も広々としてサウナやジェットバスがあったりと充実しており、ゆったり過ごせました。東照宮へ歩いて行けるのも良かったです。

夕食も朝食も抜群でした。 これまで宿泊した宿でNo1です。

部屋のTVの位置が、襖と柱のやや後ろにあり 見えにくい場所が出来ていました。

日光東照宮観光の便が良き。川と山の自然の借景がスパらしい。

The hotel decor was a little dated. Having to go downstairs to get machine coffee with paper vouchers isn’t in keeping with what I’d expect of a hotel of that price. But the food and room were beautiful

I loved everything about this facility. There was only one issue keeping me from giving it a 10. I will elaborate in what I didn't like.

The day of check out I was having an issue with a back injury I had sustained. I was up early, 4 AM. (actually up all night). I had intended to take a cab to an emergency room before going to the train station. Our train left at 7:30AM. There were no later trains. We took our bags to the lobby. There was no-one on duty. The wi-fi was not working. We had to use our phone data to try to find a cab. There were no cabs available, no Uber--- nothing. We were forced to walk our luggage to the train station. Not an easy task for someone with a back injury and also Im 73 years old. There need to be provisions made for people trying to go to the train station early in the morning. Im sure we were not the first to experience this.

お部屋もお料理も良かったです。 お風呂もサウナもあり大満足です。スタッフの方々もとても親切に対応して下さりありがたかったです。

Checking out on Friday morning I was unable. to get a cab or transport of any kind to the train station. The. train departed at 7:30. We had no choice. but to carry our luggage to the station. To compound issues I needed. to go to the emergency room. I turned out I had a broken back. Not to mention Im 73 years old. This , Im sure, is a common occurrence for people checking out and needing to catch the train. There are only early morning trains or very late trains. Nothing in between. There was also an inability to connect to your wireless from the lobby. This added to the stress Friday morning. There should be some method of transport to facilitate guests checking out and catching the train.

The staff were super hospitable even though only a few knew English, making the stay very enjoyable. The futon and blankets were great and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious and well prepared to make sure you are full on your stomach and with Japanese hospitality.

The breakfast (7.30am or 8am) and dinner (6.30pm or 7pm) times are a bit too early for our liking but we understand this is to allow more time for people to use the Onsen and rest up.

Tracte fabulos i menjar exquisit!

Que no vem poder fer servir l’Olsen pel fet de portar tatuatges i no hi havia cap altre alternativa, com per exemple, taparlos o anar alguna hora concreta que no hi hagués ningú. No obstant, és culpa nostra perquè está escrit en la informació adicional de l’hotel i nosaltres no ho vem saber fins a la nostra estada, però ens va saber greu que no ho poguessim gaudir perqué ens feia il·lusió. Però ho entenem perfectament perquè es la tradició cultural del país i s’ha de respectar.

Absolutely amazing onsen, which also has superb massage chairs. The room if big and feels both traditional and luxurious at the same time. Location is excellent — short walk to Shinkyo bridge and Toshogu shrine. For those who book without the kaiseki dinner, I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant nearby. Ask the staff and they will point you to it.

The staff were very polite, but didn’t feel very welcoming.

Location was great - easy bus ride from the station and really close to the temples and shrines. Also visited Okunikko which was a really easy bus ride from the hotel. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. A great ryokan to start our holiday in Japan.

従業員の施設面の説明が未熟でした。私の担当は外国の従業員さんでした。

東照宮を観光したあと千姫物語さんに行きました　当日は小雨でしたがスタッフさんが即玄関前まで来られ傘用のビニール袋を 差し出された瞬間気配りを感じました また、夕食朝食共に料理が美味しく説明もわかりやすかったです。 全体的に見てスタッフ全員の接客レベルが良く教育されているようでした。 設備面はバストイレが綺麗で最高でした。

Las vistas desde la recepción y desde la habitación.

El hotel es viejo y es bastante feo por fuera, hay una llave física que te obligan a darles cuando sales del hotel (muy cutre), es demasiado caro para lo que ofrece y te cobran el onsen aparte, cuando ya les estás pagando un precio mucho más alto que la gran mayoría de hoteles en Japón. La comida no es muy buena, aunque viene incluida en el precio. Por último, tienen un shuttle bus pero tiene muy pocos horarios así que te limita bastante y, además, al ir a hacer el checkout estaba allí el bus y la recepcionista en lugar de decirle que nos esperase decidió liarse a explicarnos algo que no nos importaba sin avisar al bus y lo perdimos por 20 segundos (palabras de ella), eso no se hace...

ゴールデンウィークなので仕方がないですが、値段がちょっと高めでした。

日光東照宮、バス停に近く、ロケーションは最高だった。部屋やサービスの細かな点がよく配慮されていて、快適に過ごせた。

温泉の洗い場のシャワーヘッドの付け根が汚れていた。多くの人が手に持つ部分は清掃してほしい。夕食の部屋が暑かった。温泉入浴後で体が温まっていたうえに、しゃぶしゃぶの小さな鍋に火をつけ、お酒を飲むので汗だくになってしまった。

Super séjour au sein de l'établissement. Vrai plaisir de découvrir un hôtel typique japonais. La nourriture très bonne même si on n'est pas habitué, le personnel super accueillant et qui explique très bien tous les dispositifs et la nourriture de l'hôtel. Les onsens très propres et très bien équipés! La situation très bien car à côté (10 min) du centre ville et à côté des temples, etc.

Beautiful Japanese-style experience with served breakfast and dinner (huge portions!) Comfortable futons and a private open-air bath connected with the room. Convenient location with bus access to Lake Chūzenji and a shuttle to Nikkō station.

The latest possible time for breakfast was 8 am. Being quite jet-lagged, this was a bit tough as we would have liked to sleep a bit longer.

とてもきめ細かい対応でした。 最近はどこも　接し方が　簡易的なところが多い中　心のこもった　おもてなしを受けた感じです。 スタッフに外国の方もいらっしゃいましたが、とても勉強されていて、おもてなしができていて感動しました。

Le onsen extérieur exceptionnel La chambre magnifique, dans le style japonais tel qu’on se l’imagine, avec une vue superbe Emplacement au pied des temples Repas très bon, dans le pur style kaseki, mais un peu copieux et servi un peu trop à la fois. Il pourrait être exceptionnel (comme on l’a eu ailleurs) en laissant plus de temps entre les plats, et en se concentrant plus sur la qualité que sur la quantité

Das Essen (volles Kayseri Menue und grosses Frühstück) in einem separaten Raum für Frau und Sohn. Der Onsen war sehr gut und geräumig. Die Zimmer waren sauber, 2 Betten und 1 Fouton. Sehr zentral zu den Tempelanlagen, fussläufig, zu erreichen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Insgesamt ein guter Preis

宿に車を停めさせてもらって、東照宮に歩いて行けるのは、かなりお得です。 夕食が美味しかった。デザートも豪華。

Ryokan très luxueux au bord du cours d'eau. Tout était exceptionnel : le personnel aux petits soins débordant d'attentions, le onsen (non mixte) magnifique, la chambre incroyablement belle et confortable (même les futons), avec une vue spectaculaire, les repas gargantuesques qui nous ont permis de goûter de nombreuses spécialités japonaises et de la région, la localisation parfaite à quelques minutes de marche des magnifiques temples de Nikko. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable !

部屋が広くきれいで快適、温泉も広く観光のあとくつろげた。食事も美味しかった。 スタッフの方々のサービスがとてもよかった。 日光東照宮のチケット購入が宿でできたし、帰り駅までのバスがあり便利でした。

The location was great walking distance to Shrines and temples. That was our 3rd stay in a Ryokan and to be honest this one was not as quaint (probably a bit too big and touristy for us).

Too large looks more like a hotel than a Ryokan .

Die Lage in der Nähe vom Haupttempel ist sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist halt sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Und als Empfang gibt es eine Liste mit 1 Seite Vorschriften. Tattoos sind im Onsen nicht mal bedeckt erlaubt. Altmodisch und unflexibel.

部屋にテーブル席があり、落ち着きのない子供がいるのでテイクアウトの食事ができることが良かった

アルコールの自販機があれば良いなと思った。 お風呂の利用時間が書いてなかったので部屋のパンフレットに書いてあると良いなと思いました。

お出迎えから始まり、食事のときのスタッフの対応などよかったです 車を止めさしてもらい、東照宮の参拝ができました

Staying st the this hotel is a beautiful experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Our room with private onsen was enormous and we could walk to the shrines. The hotel’s onsen is beautifully appointed and a real joy.

The breakfast and dinner are exquisitely presented but too large. I suggest reducing them by two courses .

Hôtel a 5 min du Toshugu et a 30min de la gare de Tobu-Nikko. Superbe onsen. La chambre de style japonais (futon et tatami) était très agréable. Le personnel est très avenant et disponible.

Room was great, food exceptional and staff very polite and friendly. Nice setting near the river. Ladies get to choose from a range of yukata designs.

No complaints. They couldn’t do a late check out at short notice but that is fair enough.

とにかくお料理が美味しかったです。夕食の栃木牛のお鍋のお出汁が最高でした。 他のお料理も朝食もとても美味しくいたたきました。 客室も綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。 またラウンジで無料でピアノを聴けた上にリクエストも弾いてくださり感動で忘れられない思い出になりました。リクエストした曲の楽譜がなく弾けないときは関連する曲を弾いてくださり、その心配りに更に感動しました。スタッフの方もとても親切で本当に素晴らしい！全てお勧めです。 ありがとうございました。

大浴場の脱衣所に髪の毛が落ちていました。混雑する時間帯だったので仕方ないですが、他が素晴らしかっただけに少し気になりました。

Pas moyen d'ajouter un petit déjeuner sur place sans l'avoir réserver avant d'arriver à l'hôtel. Réservation obligatoire pour dîner au restaurant : aucune flexibilité d'accès aux repas.

I booked a room with an outdoor private bath, it had great views from the bath. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location itself was very peaceful and scenic.

Noi eravamo in una stanza in stile giapponese, grande e molto confortevole. La cosa che mi ha stupito di più in positivo è stata l'onsen, che presenta diverse vasche sia al chiuso che all'aperto con un'area relax, da fare invidia a onsen di località più rinomate. Davvero un bel posticino.

Non sono riusciti ad organizzarmi un trasfer, un taxi, un Uber o qualunque altro mezzo a pagamento per raggiungere la stazione, alle 6 del mattino. Nonostante il freddo e i bagagli, siamo andati a piedi. La stanza western style, era inospitale, spartana, datata, con luci fioche e bagno gelido.
