Reviewed Jun 13, 2026We got this room mainly for the spa bath and it did not work. Water level was over the jets as per usual but did not work just made a humming noise. Abit dissapointed with this. Apart from that issue our stay was very good.

There were crazy winds overnight which when it passed our door, made a constant squealing noise... all night. I'm sure this is very unusual.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025Super convenient city location, close to a supermarket for easy cooking. (Just avoid cooking strong-smelling food like seafood). The 4-bedroom setup was perfect for our group - very comfortable and private. Facilities were all in great condition.
Note: We experienced a windy storm and noticed some wind noise from a window.

We are very grateful that they drive us to the train station when we asked then you call us a cab and we appreciated the extra hour for checkout.
Nothing-I am not a motel fan but the four of us thought the 2 bedroom apartment was great. We didn’t mind the 20 min walk to town.

Gables was the best, and it was our first experience in SI. while checking in, the owner mentioned she had turned on the heat to have the room comfortable for us. And it was, a warm and welcoming apartment. it wasn't towards the end of our trip did i realize how well guests are care for at the Gables. Its kitchen was the only one where the mugs, plates and bowls are of the same set. They were clean, new looking. Its bath towels were bright white and fluffy.

Very accommodating and helpful staff when I had to change the booking. Had enough eating and cooking equipments.
Only minor, it was so hot and no air conditioning. But there were two electric fans.
