Reviewed Aug 18, 2026What a fantastic motel. Great location, the rooms are well equipped, spacious, clean. We were at the rear of the motel and it was very quiet. The homebaked cookies were just the best! I would come back just for those :-)
No complaints. This is a very comfortable motel.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026A great little cosy motel complex with friendly, helpful staff. We loved the extra touches like the homemade shortbread and peanut brownie (which were replaced on the second day), the makeup remover, and the conditioner in the shower. When we had a problem with the dryer in the guest laundry, the owner dried our clothes in his own dryer and delivered them back to our room! I loved having a drawer and shelf for toiletries in the bathroom, which is often lacking in the motels we’ve stayed in. We also loved the big TV with so many channels. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026It was comfortable and clean. The proprietor was helpful and gave us a lift to pick up the tour we had booked from the Town Centre
The shower was far too small. Pauline struggled and I found it very difficult. Goodness knows how a large man could have coped. I am 5’ 7” tall with a chest size of 42” so I do not consider myself Kate’s by any means.
