Had an absolute best stay at Grand Eska. This hotel is very nearby to nagoya and harbour bay. All the places can be accessible within 10 - 15 minutes. They welcomed us really well and accommodate all our needs. They semt us a birthday cake (a slice) eventhough I requested at the last minute. The hotel GM greeted and welcomed us during our breakfast. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful stay.

Staff looks stylish wz elegance in their green uniform. Almost all crew were courteous, friendly n helpful. Hotel interior design more like European rich furnishings & decorations. My stay in this Standard bedrm wz 2single beds r too cramp, n the beds makes 'a sound' everytime at the shift of our body, sitting down, lying down, getting up. Toilet shower door cant close bcoz of the alignnmnt shower-rain head. The breakfast room was nicely done, meticulous food arrangemnt & variety food+drinks to choose, & r tasty.

RoomSize, difficult to walk fast atd the room, cramp n sometimes furniture n bed did hit our feet n knee.

Overall, the property is ok. I wouldn’t rate is as exceptional but the stay was ok. Service staff from the Concierge to Bellboy was top! They provided to good customer service excellence!

Swimming pool - could be better if its was maintained and clean daily. Not suitable for kids below 5 years old though. Facilities wise - Could be better if there are space for kids and toddlers.

The bathoom shower , need to have a glass door . Water splashing after shower . Bathroom gets wet .Management should look into that . For breakfast it’s ok but F&B side should really correct the term . It’s margarine pls do not label it as ‘Butter’ it’s misleading. The smell of margarine is a little disgusting when left in the open . Pls check . Be nice if they can actually serve ‘coffee’ . Not in overheated coffee pot. The coffee will taste sourish . Appreciate if management can take note .

The excellenctdecor is very welcoming,, feels like you are in an art museum.

Basic tv channels are provided so staying in the room will be boring. Can't connect to Netflix and other VOD or OTP platforms

I was told there would be breakfast in the morning, but slept through breakfast. I was on a business trip so I really didn't have time for anything else. Nonetheless, you Hotel was everything I expected. Keep up the good work.

The location that it is near to HarbourBay Ferry & the friendly & helpful bellboy & receptionist.

The room size not as expected.Too small & no closet to keep yr clothes.Too many flaws.No 24hrs shop if u want to buy a late night snack.So remember to buy outside b4 u head bck.The lobby area to the hotel lift is quite eerie.Dont bother booking the room wit balcony cos theres alot of lizards at night crawling all over the wall.In short,would not book again.

The pillows are too big for neck and uncomfortable. All 4 provided in was not meant for a comfortable rest. The room always have loud bang sound in the middle of the night. I would suggest they look into this. Otherwise I’m ok with the stay.

We stayed in the old wing of the hotel which was quite run down. There were gaps between the room door and the door frame because it was old and not maintained.

From the receptionists to the restaurant staff and housekeeping team, everyone was friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of food options. The dining area was clean, comfortable, and pleasant, making it a great place to enjoy the morning meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back again in the future. 😊✨

For the breakfast section, we were a bit disappointed with the egg station. We had to wait in line for about 30 minutes just for the eggs. Even placing an order took a long time before we received them. When we ordered boiled eggs, they were not properly cooked and were still slightly runny. We specifically ordered boiled eggs, not half-boiled eggs, so this was not what we expected. For the room, getting an iron was quite difficult. We had to request it two or three times before finally receiving one. The sink in Room 207 was leaking, causing water to continuously drip onto the floor. In Room 208, there was quite a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The location is okay, but it is not within walking distance of shops or other amenities. You need a car to get around, as it is not very accessible on foot.

I strongly advise against assuming that paying a high price guarantees quality service. Since I came from a long journey, I agreed to pay an additional 25% early check-in fee just to access the room one hour earlier. However, the blanket smelled unpleasant, and when I removed the sheets to check, I saw that the duvet inside was stained, dirty, and in very poor condition. When I called the reception and asked for it to be replaced, the first question they asked was whether I had caused the stain myself or if it was already dirty. I found this response extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. On top of that, water started leaking from the floor throughout the night. We had to use towels to clean the water ourselves. I genuinely do not understand how this can be considered “suite” level service.
