Staff were excellent, hotel is so well decorated extremely clean a real gem!

Hotel had some beautiful art pieces. Rooms were lovely, a lot of effort to put together. We were in executive street across the road and unfortunately had a mouse in the room. Put up with it first night but second night slept next door . Staff were apologetic and helpful. Had a great breakfast and dinner at the property . Make sure to book theatre early as otherwise no chance to view a movie in this lovely room.. overall very happy with the accomodation just a nuisance with the mouse which was not anybody’s fault really….

Beautiful boutique hotel, full of stunning art and small touches that make the experience both unique and memorable. Service is seamless, food is superb - it is so easy to relax and enjoy. It’s my second time at this hotel - and I would not want to stay anywhere else.

L'équipe réception au check-in nous a fait un accueil formidable et au Check out pareil, très bonne énergie dans cette équipe, ça fait du bien de se sentir bien accueilli , chambre impeccable, pas eu le temps de tester le spa malheureusement, nourriture du petit déjeuner top

La serveuse du petit déjeuner, zéro sourire, faudrait qu'elle arrête de soupirer ou de montrer son agacement quand elle prend une commande, elle devrait changer de métier si elle n'en peut plus à ce point

Checkout is at 11. They called me right at 11, I said I’m leaving soon. I missed the next call because I was in the bathroom, and then the manager came and started banging loudly on the door

La decoracion y el edificio. Un palacete art déco lleno de obras de arte originales. El personal es encantador. La habitación una suite de 100 m2 con muebles exquisitos. La comida excelente. Me dió mucha pena tener que irme.

There were a lot of amenities

We had the presidential suite, which was large and spacious. We found all the staff to be very helpful and were very quick to turn around our washing.

We had a meal in the restaurant, where the food was very nice, but it was not busy, which was a shame. But the room lacked air-conditioning, which made it uncomfortable on a hot day.

Fantastic hotel! You will be overwelmed by the great service, lovely rooms and great food! Best possible start to your holiday!

Its our 4th visit, everything was perfect except for the following. The first breakfast was a full English and it was disgusting, the plate was swimming in oil, rock hard bacon, Rock hard and old potatoe rosstie, really poor quality and not up to their standards, however the management made amends by apologizing and sending a bottle if wine and some snacks to the room, and I ordered the same breakfast the following and it was perfect. The only other thing is PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR ROOM TV'S TO SMART TVS. Overall another excellent stay and we will definitely be back soon!

The property is in good condition, clean and close to both the mall and beach.

On our first morning break fast, the staff brought the food and left us unattended to, (no drinks, no toasted bread) no one to engage. Lucky for us the owner /manager coming to our assistance. This led to this particular hostess lady being hostile to us not even greeting us. Attitude issues, on the last day I request more cold drink to have breakfast with, she takes the very same glass I’m using go fill it up in the kitchen!

Wir haben in der „Präsidenten Suite“ übernachtet. Sehr großzügig und gute leise Klimaanlage.

Da wir am ersten Weihnachtstag übernachtet en haben wir das „Weihnachts-Menue“ bestellt. Völlig unzumutbar, Essen zerkocht, kalt und geschmacklich völlig ungenießbar. Wir haben die beiden Hauptgänge zurückgehen lassen. Wer auch immer hier in der Küche verantwortlich war sollte sich das Lehrgeld zurückgeben lassen. Bei Check-Out hat das Hotel die Restaurant-Rechnung allerdings auch storniert nachdem wir den Fall geschildert haben.

The hotel was wonderful. Good location close to the beach. The staff were friendly and overall a good choice to stay.

The breakfast service was poor with long waits for food and wrong orders being served to the tables.

I liked the location of the hotel ,it's size and the generosity of the rooms in terms of size even though I was travelling alone.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times before ,in the years between 2013 and 2015.It was quite disappointing to see that nothing had changed in the aesthetics in over 10 years.I guess my expectations were rather high as it is a 5 star Mantis Collection Hotel. The televisions are extremely dated,the furniture(couch) needs reupholstering.The rug in the lounge of my room had stains.The dining room staff that was working the breakfast shift on Sunday 28/09 had an attitude of disinterest-they need training on customer service.I cancelled my breakfast order after waiting for 30 minutes for the food to arrive.

Super Lage, ruhiges und sehr sicheres Quartier, nähe Meer und Einkauf Center. Abgeschlossener Parkplatz.Leckeres Frühstück a la carte. Im ganzen Haus sehr schöne Kunst. Sehr zu empfehlen in Port Elizabeth. 10 Minuten vom Flugplatz. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen

We had a great one-night stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotless and very well maintained, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. Only little suggestion would be to upgrade rooms as these were a bit dated and also offer a better bar selection, this was very tiny. A special highlight was the thoughtful gesture of having champagne waiting in our room to help us celebrate — such a kind and personal touch! We truly appreciated the attention to detail.

Very spacious room with a great breakfast

We stayed in one of the executive suites and the room was well accommodated and extremely spacious, we have stayed on 2 prior occasions, and this room is for us the best room in the boutique ( stayed 2 times before), definitely will booking this suite on our next visit.

One thing that we would like to see updated is the Sony Brava TV, it's a pre Netflix and USB model, It's time for an upgrade. Also a suitcase rack or two would be handy. If they can get these 2 items right the No5 becomes No10/10

Still as nice as the first time we stayed here and all the times in between. Friendly staff, good food, great chef, comfortable rooms, interesting interior. Patrick is a genius of the hospitality industry, and his colleagues make a great team.

We stayed here for a couple of nights before being picked up for a safari trip. Reception staff were warm and welcoming on our arrival and showed us around the hotel and then to our room. The room was awesome (Presidential Suite) with great bed, huge bathroom area and lovely sitting room. We had everything we could ask for. The restaurant staff and food were great as well! Location is great also, just a 3min walk to the beachside walkway and a 5min walk to a shopping mall where you can get anything from a packet of chips to a safari suit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
