I love this hotel, location stunning, staff are great, food is fab! Room was lovely, had everything we need, even bottled water.

There is starling birds flying all over the place, I seen approx 8 of them, trying to eat breakfast and they pooping all over the place flying across the table, also cats in where your eating. So if you dont like birds or cats this hotel is not for you

Lage - direkt am Meer

Lautstärke - wir wurden vorab per Mail darauf hingewiesen das es laut sein kann am Abend. Wir wurden am Samstag um 22.15 aus dem Bett gerissen weil es im Zimmer so laut war - LIVE Musik. Ich ging an die Rezeption - es war unmöglich mich mit der Dame an der Rezeption zu unterhalten so laut war es. Ich habe mich darauf hin so beschwert das es unmöglich ist im Zimmer zu schlafen (Preis für 2 Nächte mit Frühstück Euro 450,-!!!!!!!! Wir haben darauf hin das Angebot bekommen im Mitarbeiterhaus im Zentrum zu schlafen. Wir sind um 23 Uhr ausgezogen und in das Stadtzentrum gefahren. Mein Fazit - DISCO statt HOTEL - FINGER WEG - ÜBERTEUERT - NIE MEHR WIEDER

Very clean hotel and staff were very friendly.

It do get a little noisy into the early hours but we had been told that before we stayed and it didn’t bother us too much.

Amazing atmosphere in the multi level dining bar area, very nicely decorated with cozy lighting and awesome music and staff were lovely.

No air conditioning but the portable fan was helpful

A reggeli nagyon finom volt, 6 éjszakát maradtunk, mindent megkóstoltunk az étlapról. A kiszolgálás barátságos, figyelmes. A dohányzó rész elszeparált.

A képeken látható bár gyönyörű. A kilátás a tengerre onnan káprázatos, pont emiatt foglaltam a szállást ott, ám sajnos nem a szálló vendégek számára van fenntartva. Sem reggelit, sem ebédet, sem vacsorát nem szolgáltak ott fel. Kérdésünkre, közölték, hogy csak hétvégén (péntek, szombat, vasárnap) működtetik, de zártkörű rendezvények számára. Szóval hétvégén sem fogyaszthattuk ott a vacsoránkat. Ezenkívül két helység volt még az egyik pub hangulat, a másik egy fedett kerthelység, ott még a madarak is bent repkedtek, ami elsőre nagyon különlegesnek hangzik, ám engem taszított az ezzel járó madárürülék a székeken, berendezéseken.... a reggelit mindig itt kaptuk, szóval azzal kezdtük, hogy törölgettük a székeket, asztalokat mielőtt leültünk, és sajnos reggeli közben is odapottyantott egy repülő madár az asztalunkra.

The extreme noise from the nightclub in room 102. We normally stay on the other side of the building and was told this side was quieter , not so . We were directly above the noise and had to phone reception after 3am

Good location by beach and other late night venues. Only a short walk into the town. Brilliant food in terms of value, taste and portion. Staff were friendly. Room (apartment) was comfortable and had all necessary amenities. Great entertainment. Fantastic value.

Can be busy in the bar/outside area but a table frees up quickly, would recommending booking table in advance. Very popular spot so didn't surprise us. Loud venue at night but did not hear anything from the room.

Tõeliselt eriline ja traditsioonidega koht Bray kesklinnas mere ääres. Õdus ja hea köögiga restoran. Korter oli suur ja 2 toaga, kus oli 4 magamiskohta. Olemas oli köök koos kõikide võimalsutega (pliit, mikrolaineahi, pesumasin, nõud, külmkapp). Iga päev vahetati rätikuid. Wifi toimis hästi. Hea ligipääs liftiga tänavalt.

Maja asub raudteejaama lähedal - aeg-ajalt kostab müra. Meid eriti ei seganud.

Am Wochenende laute Musik am Abend (wie angekündigt); aber die Appartements liegen in einem Gebäude weiter hinten, dort hört man nicht mehr viel.

Very comfortable bed, room overlooking the beach. Very tasty food in the restaurant. Big thanks to the staff for accommodating my request for the birthday surprise for my girlfriend. Much appreciated.

That we only stayed for one night...

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Food was great and we were able to order smaller dishes for those who would not be able to eat a big meal.

The side entrance road is a bit dirty and lonely at night although we had no trouble.

* The bathroom fan was extremely noisy. * The facilities were very outdated. * The apartment we rented did not have a coffee machine or a suitable place to sit and eat. * Only one window could be opened, which made the apartment feel quite stuffy and uncomfortable.

We had a wedding to attend which was in the Martello. Myself and two friends booked an apartment which was so handy and great value for money. It was super handy to have a little kitchen and the bathroom was perfect.

Everything was fine for us.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our stay was overnight and for a private event which they help make so special. The food and drinks were good especially the cocktails which were on point. The service was very good too. Would recommend the Short Rib for mains which was delicious. We had breakfast the following morning which wasn’t planned. I had the Martello granola and Hazelnut Latte which tasted great. Overall a great place to eat and drink.

We had an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and well presented. However the windows need to be triple glazed as the noise levels were high from outside which makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep!

No lift No car park, on street paid parking required Noise level intolerable on a Friday night, due to live music and night club, not conducive to a good night's rest.

Great location in the seafront and a short walk from the Dart. Staff were friendly. Food was great. We had a breakfast and lunch. Beds comfortable and the pillows were the best I've had in a long time. Would stay again but not on a weekend.

While I appreciate this is a hotel with live music at the weekend, I thank god we weren't there for a Bank Holiday and a further night of late music. When we checked in we were told it would be 'lively' I slept well Friday night, but more due to exhaustion. The following night was quite honestly hell. Two live bands and a DJ meant ridiculously loud music for those in the bedrooms. Sleeping was impossible until about 3am when it ceased.

Really enjoyed the position of the hotel, the staff food everything really great..

Ze hadden rekening gehouden met mijn verzoek om - indien mogelijk - een mooie kamer te voorzien omdat we op huwelijksreis waren. We hebben niet alleen de mooiste kamer gekregen (met zicht op zee én zonsopgang in zee) maar ook het ontbijt op hun kosten en tijdens ons diner in hun restaurant kwamen ze ons nog op hun kosten een cocktail brengen waarin “Enjoy your honeymoon“ stond. Het personeel was allemaal vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het eten was heel lekker en verzorgd.

What can I say, 3rd time back and won't be the last. From the moment we were greeted by the ever smiling Amy at reception to the time we left we were spoilt. Apparently was great, clean, comfy, homey. The restaurant... food was amazing and staff, Sarah, Finn and Mya were the absolute best. Beautiful location, amazing atmosphere and a pleasure to stay in

Well, for me, to have a view of the sea

I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Martarello’s in Bray. Myself and my three daughters walked into the restaurant, and one of my daughters sat down on a chair. When she stood up, there was chewing gum stuck all over the back of her **white outfit**, which has now been badly damaged and may be completely ruined. What made the situation even worse was the way we were treated when we raised it with management. I was told that my daughter must have walked into the restaurant with the chewing gum already on her clothes, which is simply not true. We had just got out of the car, walked straight into the restaurant and sat down. The chewing gum was discovered when she stood up. Management checked the CCTV but said they couldn’t see her actually sitting on chewing gum. That doesn’t prove that it wasn’t there — the camera isn’t positioned directly over the chair and doesn’t show the relevant area clearly enough to establish what happened. What I found particularly upsetting was the attitude of the manager. Rather than showing concern or trying to resolve the situation properly, I felt I was being spoken to dismissively, with the manager standing there smirking and telling me that it wasn’t his problem. Interestingly, he did offer to pay for the dry cleaning. If the restaurant genuinely believes my daughter arrived with the chewing gum already on her clothes, why offer to pay for the dry cleaning in the first place? This isn’t just about a ruined outfit. It’s about how a customer is treated when something goes wrong. I expected some basic courtesy, understanding and an attempt to resolve the matter — instead, I left feeling completely dismissed. I will now be taking advice regarding the damage to the clothing and what further steps I can take.
