Heerlijk zacht en groot bed
Dit is echt vergane glorie. Het ontbijt viel tegen, het zwembad ook en de plek is zonder auto eigenlijk niet echt handig.
Extremedy quite, away from town noise. Big rooms and open countryside across to the river. Not far from town on a scooter only 2 or 3 minutes. Nice eating area and breakfast. Staff very friendly.
Location only
Bathroom dated and dirty with mold, hard mattress, breakfast cold, expenses for the money.
Free transfer to walking street and back to hotel was great service! Place was relaxing and silence in countryside but so near by Pai central
Very clean
Nothing
The towels were the best smelling towels I’ve come across. The main thing for me was the lovely view from the window of the pool and jungle. I also enjoyed the pool
Sehr nettes Personal und grundsätzliche schöne Anlage
Alles doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Wesentliche Dinge wie Seife?! fehlten.
Location was great, nice and quiet
No access to an iron
Very nice facilities and nice big rooms and location is pretty and nice pool
Far from walking street but not too bad about 20 minutes walk
Nettes Personal, nicht zu nah aber auch nicht zu weit entfernt von der „Walking Street“. Große Zimmer und große Betten.
Poolbereich müsste mal saniert werden. Lose Fliesen etc.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming
Before we came here, my girlfriend and I read quite a few negative reviews about this accommodation. I have to be honest and say that we do not recognize ourselves in them at all and had 2 wonderful days. I have to say that we stayed in one of the lodges, so I cannot judge the apartments. The lodges are spacious and clean and basically equipped with all amenities. The beds are wonderfully spacious and sleep well. For people with serious back problems perhaps a bit too hard. Here and there some small repairs could be carried out, but nothing was disturbing. The WiFi is not stable, but you see that almost everywhere in Northern Thailand. For a Dutch person the shower head hangs really too low, but if that is all.... 😂 I also read that people thought the place was dated???? I think many European luxury horses heat style with dating. This is Pai Thailand not a 5 Star hotel in New York, Dubai or Amsterdam. If all goes well, you will be outside 2/3 of the day to explore the beautiful surroundings and take in all the delicious flavors. The location of Bell Vila is beautiful but not for party animals. If you want to get drunk every day, go and sit in the middle of Pai..... The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was fine. In addition, there is a free shuttle service to The Walking Street available. What more could you want more? There are 2 swimming pools, the smallest of which may need a little refurbishment, but that is and was not a turn off for us. My partner and I had a wonderful time here again.
Loved this boutique hotel. The staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble. Readily available to offer lifts to the walking street. Even made us a huge breakfast sandwich when we had to leave early for departure day. A little faded in areas but clean and beautiful surroundings. I would definitely go back there if I was visiting x
Nice and quiet! Dated but maintained. Staff is excellent.
Very nice resort Clean and lovely gardens to look out onto when having breakfast Food good and lots of variety Room stank of stale water and the bedding felt damp Loungers by the pool need a cushion as very uncomfortable Light bulb gone on terrace
A very tranquil and peaceful hotel. The raised bungalows are amazing I loved them lots. Very clean and spacious the bathroom is just awesome and different. Good working AC, lovely spacious outside seating area. 1 pool was amazing very clean and lots of space the other pool didn’t look as good the yellow tile choice definitely didn’t help this out, tiles could have done with a re grout. There were subbed by the pool to lay on and the pool was nice and refreshing! The outside land area could have done with a cut down to be able to see the lovely views. Breakfast was lovely and my friends lunch they ordered looked good too. They offer a shuttle bus to and from walking street. I loved how unique this hotel was I shall be returning when I am next in Asia.
標準150cm的泳池,小朋友很喜歡泳池,雖然房間設施感覺有點舊,但員工非常親切,隨時都有接駁車可以到步行街,還可以打電話來接回,交通算方便,下次有機會還會再來。
I did not book this myself, but was here on a Tuk Tuk Club tour. I was surprised when I read the bad reviews and wondered whether they related to a period post-pandemic when the resort was below par and had not yet recovered. I found our bungalow on stilts to be clean, spacious, comfortable, and really quite stylish. There was a long bench which provided plenty of space for luggage. There was a nice day bed space by the window. The room had a fridge and a safe. The bathroom was spacious with an open feel. The large restaurant area overlooked one of the two large swimming pools and the fields beyond. Cold beer was available. The staff were courteous. Breakfast was a fruit and salad buffet in addition to a made to order dish with three egg options and three Thai options. The resort is 1.3km from the main street of Pai which was a do-able walk during the day. However, the resort offered an at-call shuttle into town and we could arrange a pick up time (or call if you had a Thai phone). There was a place that did laundry for B50 per kilo just a few hundred meters down the road. It was pleasant and peaceful sitting on the little balcony of the bungalow which overlooked the fields. A far more peaceful option than staying in the Freak City which is Pai.
It was quiet and relaxing, and not too far from Walking Street by scooter.
The pool didn’t look very appealing to swim in.
The cottages are cute, but need repair.
Rude receptionist. Room wasn't cleaned. Charged for an extra bed on a 3 person reservation.
I love the hotel, its beautiful with beautiful gardens and everything is very clean. The pool is nice, its quiet, Great staff allways. Ive been there twice and will definitely be back again.
Firstly the room was spacious with a massive bed, very clean room. They have two swimming pools to use, which was good. The whole resort was very clean and well looked after. It is around 20 min walk away from Pai Centre however they do offer free shuttle bus whenever you need it, you just need to let them know and they can also pick you up from Centre as well. They do offer breakfast if you want to eat there. And the shop is around 7 min walk too. Very nice and quiet area which was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Location was nice pool was very big
The beds where very uncomfortable
The pool was at our doorstep, great shower, friendly staff, transport on request to the Walking Street.
We liked the bed, but some people may find the mattress a little hard.
Big room, v quiet, views of field and cows!
Very dated accommodation, needs work.
It was a great and relaxing stay. The staff is kind and has a shuttlebus at their disposal to bring you to the centre of Pai (and pick you up). Otherwise it is a 20min walk.
The beds were slightly uncomfortable. Too hard for my liking.
Free transfers in and out of town until 10pm, room was absolutely gorgeous and so clean. The back door opened in to a pool and the bathroom had a walk in shower and massive bath
The food was not nice here. A bit too far from town have to be dropped everywhere
This was a surprise package . Very rustic but comfy cabin in a very quiet part of Pia. It was nice to look out over the paddocks and see some cows ( we are country Australians ) . Just down the road maybe a 3 min walk is an organic restaurant that did beautiful meals . We just had one night on our way back to Chiang Mai . Breakfast at the hotel was out in a beautiful open area looking over the pool towards the paddocks and while not a full buffet type there was plenty to fill you up . Staff very happy was nice to see especially as some of these places did not have too many customers .
It was kind of cool to be fair - Massive Bathtub that we didn't expect. Gorgeous grounds. Quiet and well maintained. Water pressure could do with some work, but that's not a real issue. Pools are lovely.
Bit of a trek to town but they run a little bus
The bed, the balcony, very good value for money in the off season
The water system in the bathroom needs to be improved, initially the hot water didn't work and the tap didn't work but once it did it was good
Nice accomodation
Airconditioning was not working in our room, staff gave us another room
Location & Service
the air-con not cool and the bathtube cannot use ... I booked 3 rooms => only 1 room can use
The pool was really nice. Did get quite dirty by the end of the day due to leaves but that can’t be helped, it was cleaned daily in the morning. The staff were amazing and helpful. They have a free shuttle to walking street which makes up for the hotel not being in the centre.
Beds were pretty hard, but wouldn’t put me off staying here.
The room and the bathroom are spacious. The bed also big
I have stayed in 9 hotels in Pai and this is the worst one. It’s ridiculously over priced. The pool is dirty and the rooms are so cold it’s hard to sleep. The bed is uncomfortable and had stains on the sheets and pillows. The bathroom is so cold and dark I didn’t even bother using the shower. I paid £63 for one night here, you can get better hotels for £20 in Pai. I can’t believe they charge so much for such a poor hotel.
the swimming pool was nice
outdated rooms, hard beds, staff didn’t speak english or couldn’t read their own menu. bad management for not training them
good room, good location
beds were very hard but ok
I stayed in one of the cottages and it was very cozy. Nice and enjoyable stay not too far from town center
Water pressure cools be better. It was also pretty cold one of the nights in the cottage
beautiful place
tap water was a bit dirty
perfect location, good value for money
The premises are very old, especially the bathroom needs urgent renovation. The prices for the laundry are exorbitant, a cheek even.
beautiful scenery and property
nothing whatsoever.
it was quiet , the pool was very enjoyable
the mattress was hard ,
The room was very big and we had a balcony They have a shuttle to the bus station when you leave Bed was big and comfy
This hotel is very over priced. It was the second most expensive hotel we stayed at throughout our whole two week trip in Thailand so we were expecting amazing things from this hotel which unfortunately it did not live up to. They advertise that they can provide an airport shuttle, but do not expect them to reply to you. I wrote to them twice on booking.com before we arrived and we didn't receive a response Breakfast was disappointing too About a 20 minute walk into the city center. They don't provide the shuttle from the bus station when you arrive as you cannot get in contact with them. When we also rung to ask before we arrived they told us there was no shuttle. There was supposed to be an amazing bath tub in our room, but when we arrived it didn't live up to the pictures. There was also a sign to say do not put hot water in the bath, therefore there is no point in having this bath.
the fact that the pool is just next to your door step
the layout if the building as the most of the day you only have shadow in your terrace
Free shuttle bus service into town
upon arriving it became clear we had been catfished. This establishment look’s nothing like the photos. we stayed in one of the huts and as soon as you walk in the smell of damp is strong. The place is infested with ants , mould and cockroaches. All fabric surfaces are damp including the cushions and the bedding. Our bedding was ripped and marked. The swimming pool is dirty and dangerous as there are so many broken tiles. Would not recommend especially as the prices are high not worth risking your health breathing in the mould.
nice individual cottage, helpful staff, nice view
pool area a little tired, was difficult to park at times, more sun beds at pool would be nice
Terrible terrible place, black mold on ceilings, dirty faucet, dead roaches in the shower, bf had trouble breathing after a few hours in the room with the mold. Staff didn't care, everything was damp, the bedsheets, the pillow, even the chairs. wouldn't recommend to anyone.
lots of different options from breakfast anda great shuttle into town
one of the pool was a little rusty which ruined on of my swimmer being unable to get the rust out
Lovely location with beautiful rural views. Lovely staff and nice room. A great setting overall.
Breakfasts were a bit tired (not great coffee) and bathroom, though lovely, was a bit dark. But these are small points.
The location of the resort is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. It is situated in a very peaceful area with beautiful scenery and yet it is not very far from the city center. The breakfast is delicious with a nice spread with many Thai and Western food items. The rooms are also clean with comfortable beds.
the pool was very nice and large. The rooms were very spacious with a nice balcony.
Could use some minor renovations and the location is a little far.
The isaan lady who make my cocktails steal from my room. In afternoon she recommended i try her special massage in my room. I agreed. When doin massage she smoking,i have to tell her stop smoke in my room. Afterwards when im face down she steal the money from my table, and make excuse she need to go. I dont have time file police report because i have to checkout next day and drive to CHiang Mai. Pool is dirty, loud motorbikes and barking darks at night. Do not recomend.
I only stayed 2 nights after long motorbike trip, it was relaxing. I didnt have to leave the resort, i had food delivered, sat by the pool all day, and in the evening the lady that makes the drinks gave me a special massage in my room. I dindn't have to go into town for anything. I feel well rested. Oh the AC didnt work and smelled like mold. Next time will stay longer.
Ordered a cocktail at the hotel lounge area, and there was a large 6" black hair in it. I showed the dark lady who made it, she just put her dirty hands in and removed it then walked away...didn't even offer to re-make it. Not to mention she was smoking the whole time making the drink.. seems extremely un-hygenic If staff can't maintain proper health and safety standards, maybe they should wear gloves and hairnet.
Stayed in a Deluxe with Pool Access the Resort itself is tidy. Rooms is spacious tidy though its a bit outdated. Breakfast is ok there are variety options should low occupancy if hotel is full they will have buffet breakfast however staffs need to maintain friendliness and standard service. First day plates is unclean, Waiters were to prepare eggs for us again hygiene wise especially during this time they should asks the Chefs to cook for us with proper hygiene/attire with gloves and masks. Some staffs are unfriendly not so welcoming. Staffs lost the touch of being welcoming and being friendly THUMBS UP only to HK and Gardener who can still maintain their smiles due to the economic and current crisis. Overall resort is convenient comfortable not too far to get to the Pai Town should you have bike, would suggests shuttle service to the town. Require Operation training whilst duirng low season so that staff wont forget the sequence of service as well service mind.
It is a decent hotel to stay in. Like every other family resort. The only complain will be the bed. Quite hard as the mattress is spring type and the room has a bit of moldy smell as mine is the pool entrance type. Can’t complain much with the price that I have paid for. A pointer, during the winter, it is too cold to swim at all in Pai. XD
Peaceful location, beautiful area, friendly people.
The room was very smelly and you are not allowed to have a bath with hot water in the tub. The pools does not look very clean. The staff was very kind and the shuttle was good, but you have to call them if you want to go back to the resort. If you do not have a sim card for thailand, it is a problem. We had scooters so it wasn't a big problem.
Central, good shuttle service, spacious rooms and quiet. All good, no dislikes
The hotel staff was kind and assisted us in checking in. I was happy to see the surrounding area was very natural and the pool area was unique with a fun little bar.
Stayed there for two nights in the main building. The hotel is surrounded by green jungle and I think that many years ago it was a luxury hotel but unfortunately due to bad maintenance it’s not the case right now: there is bad smell in the room , the bed is hard and not comfortable, the air-condition is dripping water and I suspect that cleanliness of the room is not sufficient. Breakfast was average not high quality
I have never reviewed any hotel before but the Belle Villa was not great at all it is in noway a resort or worthy of 4 stars. They have two pools one was off limits to swim in as it was not clean and the other pool was not much better. My room had mould in it, the bath tub looked like it had never been cleaned and the water on the second day when I went to wash my face was brown and stayed like that for over a day. There was a dead rat with blood outside my room when I arrived home at 11pm one night (was gone by the next day 10am). It was 18 minutes to walk to any shop or restaurant and the roads were very dark with lots of stray dogs. These dogs barked all night long and no one at reception seemed to care. The positives are that they have a shuttle bus service until 10pm and a nice view of the mountains from the restaurant and the beds are big and comfy. There was loads of big bugs and one landed on my face while I was on my balcony when I was drinking a glass of water and I panicked and smashed my glass and reception charged me for the broken glass it was quite funny when they asked for 120 Bhat.
Yes it’s a bit dated but that’s more than out-weighed by the ambience of the grounds, the delicious food and most of all the exceptionally helpful staff. Several staff spoke good English and everyone of them made us feel very welcomed. The rooms are nice but we opted for a cottage. It’s just down a side street off the main road making it much quieter. The property is a huge acreage with lots of trees and walking areas. 2 swimming pools which are also a bit dated but are clean and well maintained. Sitting on our private porch we enjoyed the constant singing of happy birds. When we arrived to a huge breakfast buffet with hot delicious food we decided we needed to stay another night. Great value.
