Puripai Villa is a really beautiful property, surrounded by nature and with amazing views over the hills and the rice fields around Pai. The whole setting is probably the best part of the stay peaceful, green and very relaxing. The location is outside Pai, so you need to keep in mind that you’ll need some kind of transportation. There is no Grab Car in Pai, only Grab Scooter. Otherwise, the hotel offers a free shuttle service according to a timetable, or you can arrange a paid transfer. For us, this wasn’t really a problem, but it’s definitely something to consider when booking. We stayed in a room in the main building rather than in one of the villas. It was a standard room and overall everything was fine. The dinner restaurant was also a pleasant surprise. We had an excellent Pad Thai so definitely worth trying! We also joined a yoga class in the beautiful glass building in the centre of the property, which was a really nice experience. And the swimming pool is simply stunning, especially with those views over the surrounding hills and fields. Overall, a very beautiful place with an amazing natural setting. There are a couple of things that could be improved, but the scenery, pool, restaurant and peaceful atmosphere make it a lovely place to stay in Pai.

One thing we did report to the staff was the air conditioning, which unfortunately wasn’t working properly. The temperature shown on the thermostat didn’t really match what you actually felt in the room, so it was basically either freezing cold or warm there was no comfortable middle ground. The windows were actually constantly fogged up because of this. We mentioned it to the staff, but unfortunately no alternative solution was offered. Another area I think could be improved is the breakfast buffet. From a property of this level, we expected something a little more generous and varied. That said, the dishes included in the breakfast menu were delicious. The avocado egg toast and eggs Benedict were both really good.

Absolutely everything!!! Private pool private driveway, the decks were so big and the villa was clean and super comfortable. The bed was absolutely amazing and the staff was awesome!!!!

Ontbijt was heel karig. We konden kiezen uit een ei gerecht en er lagen 2 plakjes bananen brood. De douche zag er goed uit alleen de mengkraan werkte niet. Als je klein beetje koud water erbij deed werd die helemaal koud. Deed je het weer terug werd die heel heet. Weet niet of het ontbijt zo weinig was ivm met “laagseizoen “ maar verwacht van dit hotel gewoon meer

I recently stayed at Puripai Villa in Pai for a week, and I would like to share a detailed and constructive review based on my experience. First of all, I want to highlight the strong positive aspects of the property. The view is absolutely stunning. The surrounding landscape is peaceful, beautiful, and truly worthy of admiration. The architecture of the hotel is impressive, with spacious rooms that feel elegant and thoughtfully designed. The size of the rooms is generous, creating a sense of comfort and relaxation. Additionally, the bed is extremely comfortable, which made resting after long days exploring Pai a real pleasure.

However, for the price point and for a hotel presenting itself in the 5-star category, the overall experience unfortunately does not align with those expectations. Service & Communication • There is no luggage service to the rooms, which is surprising for a property at this level. • Several staff members had difficulty communicating in English, making some simple requests more complicated than they should be. Breakfast Experience This was one of the most disappointing aspects of the stay. • Very limited variety. • Maximum of two types of fruit. • Only one type of marmalade available. • Bread was sometimes stale. • When items finished, they were not replaced promptly. • Boiled eggs were frequently missing, and guests had to repeatedly inform staff. • Empty trays would remain unattended for long periods. For a hotel in this price range, breakfast should feel abundant, fresh, and consistently maintained. Unfortunately, it felt under-managed and below standard. Additionally, the juice glasses are extremely small, requiring constant refills, which disrupts the dining experience unnecessarily. There is also a policy allowing only one meal per person from the menu, which again feels restrictive and inconsistent with a luxury positioning. Room Facilities • The Wi-Fi connection only works reliably near the lobby, and not properly in rooms farther away. • The shower was the most uncomfortable part of the stay. The water temperature fluctuates constantly — either extremely hot or suddenly cold — making it impossible to shower comfortably. For a 5-star standard, this is a critical issue that requires urgent attention.

The property was not what they advertise it as , it’s not really a wellness resort. We cut short our stay 3 days before. Pictures didn’t do any justices , property smelled of cannabis , especially if you sit on the balcony.

Staff was the biggest reason why I would want to give it 1 start , they don’t smile(in the land of smiles) , rude short replies , not helpful at all , we had to carry our two suits cases down stairs when we checked out and they just stood there looking at us and will not even even offer to help. Except the one cleaning guy everyone else needs to be educated in hospitality especially ones in the reception. Breakfast is something I don’t even want to talk about.

Sehr schöne Anlage etwas ausserhalb von Mai. Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer ansprechend. Super für Ruhesuchende und Paare, die eine romantische Auszeit suchen.

Das Zimmer hätte etwas sauberer sein dürfen und der Kaffee am morgen war grauenhaft.

Upon check-in, we were delighted to be upgraded to a villa. The villa was beautiful and spacious, with stunning views. The breakfast was excellent, and the room service and in-room dining were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the smoking area was conveniently located. При заселении нас обрадовали тем что повысили наш номер до виллы, вилла была прекрасной и большой, а виды просто потрясаюшие, завтрак был прекрасный, а обслуживание номеров и заказ еды в номер - просто отлично. Персонал был приветливный и не надоедлевый, удобное расположение курилки.

De mooie ligging en het vriendelijke personeel.

Er waren weinig bedjes bij het zwembad, en de kamer stonk naar riool lucht. Tip, bedrijfs kleding voor het personeel vooral voor als het koud is.(mooie allemaal dezelfde met logo warme vesten voor in de ochtend)

Tolle Hotelanlage. Traumhafter Ausblick.

Schlechter Kaffee (Instant) zum Frühstück, in dieser Kategorie nicht in Ordnung. Frühstücksauswahl begrenzt und von minderer Qualität. Sauberkeit vor allem im Badezimmer. Annehmlichkeiten wie Whirpool nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich, obwohl als „SPA/Retreat“ bezeichnet. Keine Sauna.

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans une des villa de Puripai et c'était absolument merveilleux. Vue incroyable sur les montagnes environnantes, calme absolu, 10 minutes en scooter de Pai. Petit dej sympa, salle de sport bien équipée. Allez y les yeux fermés !

Beautiful place, amazing view, smoking allowed in pool area

The stuff weren’t nice at all. They argued with about every little expense, they didn’t know English well enough which led to a lot of mistakes and misunderstandings. We asked for double room with an extra bed, which was very uncomfortable and unpractical. Only one mirror. The shuttles are not free in every hour and the hotel is far fr the Center so the taxis can cost a lot of money.

Gordijnen waren stuk, laten licht door. In de kamer rook je een enorm riool lucht. Ik kreeg een nieuwe kamer toegewezen gekregen, maar ook daarvan waren de verduisterende gordijnen niet volledig te sluiten. Daarnaast had deze kamer geen warm water en geen hor.

המלון ממוקם בפאתי פאי ובעל נוף מדהים! מתאים מאוד לזוגות שמחפשים ליהנות ולהירגע. החדר היה מרווח ונקי, התניידות עם אופנוע פתרה לנו את בעיית המרחק מהאזור המרכזי (בערך 10 דקות נסיעה) חדר הכושר מספק ובריכה ממש נחמדה חשוב לציין שהמלון יקר ביחס לפאי (גם המסעדה בבריכה) אבל לגמרי התאים לביקור שלנו

הגענו עם הרבה ציוד והחדר שלנו היה בקומה השלישית, אין מעלית כך שנאלצנו לסחוב את המזוודות בעצמנו עד לחדר (לא היה כל כך קל) בנוסף, במהלך כל השהיות שלנו בבריכה הגיעו אנשים חיצוניים מהמלון להיות בבריכה. עשו רעש, עישנו (כשאסור) והפריעו למנוחה ולאווירה הנעימה שהמלון מיועד לספק כריטריט…

Hotel grounds and view are lovely.

Sadly the water is lukewarm and there is no heating for when it gets chilly in the evenings

The place is great if u take a privet Villa and u have a car. It’s very big and breakfast was great. The faceplate great and it’s beautiful design

If u take a regular room it’s either on the second or third floor with no elevator. The place is very far from everything. The restaurant served very small and pricy dishes. The Gardner makes too much noise every day so it’s not so quiet

It had a beautiful view. The food is great and the staff is nice.

If you don’t have a motorcycle you well need a driver or shuttle to get around. The shuttles are free only a few times a day, otherwise you need to pay.

Aucun service et peu accueillant par rapport à tous les hôtels que nous avons pu faire en Thaïlande et moins luxueux. Piscine trouble..

De locatie is prachtig. Het is wat afgelegen maar prachtige uitzichten over de bergen.

The Location and the views are outstanding, perfect for people who want to relax in their holidays. We very enjoyed the regular Yoga class in the mornings. The breakfast team was Great, always smiling and friendly. Last but not least, I would recommand everybody to book a Package at the Spa. We had a wonderful treatment, thank you Dara and Jane for your dedication. We never felt so pampered and relaxed before.

At a Wellness reatreat, we did not expect outside people sitting smoking in and around the pool, while talking loudly on their phones in the afternoons.

המיקום מחוץ לעיר, שקט יחסית, מול נוף מדהים. הריזורט רחב ויפה מאוד. הייתי בוילה והיא מרווחת מאוד ונעימה. בהחלט מתאים למי שמחפש תנאים יותר טובים מהמלונות הקטנים בתוך העיר. יש אולם יוגה יפה מול הנוף ועשיתי שם שיעור ממש נחמד. נראה שיש הרבה סוגי חדרים וכולם פונים לנוף. בכל זאת ממליצה למרות הביקורת הפחות טובה, בעיקר בגלל הנוחות והנוף.

פוטנציאל מפוספס. המחיר ממש לא זול, והמקום כל כך יפה, אז ציפיתי לשירות יותר טוב. הצוות לא מספיק מיומן, לא דובר מספיק טוב אנגלית, והנציגות בקבלה לרוב רק גוללות בטלפון. ארוחת בוקר מינימלית ממש, והתשובה לבקשה להתאים לטבעונים, היתה -לא-. עוד לא נתקלתי בזה בתאילנד, ובטח שלא בפאי. הם פשוט לא ידעו מה לעשות עם זה. גם ארוחת ערב במסעדה, היתה ברמה נמוכה מאוד, וקשה היה להזמין, ובאופן כללי, הייתי היחידה שם. ממליצה לאכול בעיר. הם נופלים הדברים הקטנים של שירות שהופכים את השהייה למפנקת, החדר לא מספיק מאובזר, לא מספיק מגבות, אין כספת (!), מטריה ביום גשום (אפשר לקחת בלובי), ההליכה ללובי מהחדר חשוכה מאוד, ואין שביל נוח כשרטוב ואף בוץ. הייתי מצפה ליותר במלון כזה... בכל זאת, השהייה נעימה מאוד כי התנאים שם טובים, ומיטה נוחה. מי שרוצה מקום יפה ותנאי חדר נוחים, כן עדיף על מלונות העיר. רק לא לאכול שם...

Probably the hotel with the most beautiful view in Pai! All Pai mountains are just spread Infront of your room, absolutely amazing! You don't need to look for any other view point in the area. In addition, this amazing view comes with a very nice villa and fantastic private swimming pool. Great experience.

The villa interior standards are not that high. Some small issues with the glass doors and toilet, but nothing serious. With higher interior standards, this hotel is easy 5 stars rating and 10 score!

הטבע הירוק, הוולנס, יוגה, ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומגוונת מאוד! בריכה יפיפיה והמאמן כושר הפרטי כאן. חווית התחדשות מיוחדת במינדה - אין שום מקום בתאלינד שילוב כזה של ספורט בריאות טבע ויוקרה (במחיר לא יקר)

אם אני צריכה לחפש: המחיר במסעדה הפרטית במלון יקרים כמעט ב100% משאר פאי יחד עם זאת - זו מסעדה ולא דוכן.ֿ נותני השירות המלצרים והפרונט דסק לא ממש מבינות אנגלית יצא סיטואציה שבה ביקשתי לתאם משהו היא לא הבינה ונתנה לי תשובה מטעה. הצוות לא מספיק אדיב, לא פעם בארוחת בוקר המלצרים לא ניגשים מספיק לראות מה אתנו, האם צריך משהו נוסף וכו.ֿבנוסף הפרונט דסק ובמסעדה יש לא מעט בנות שנמצאות בטלפון במצב גלילה ולא ממש יש ״וולקאמינג״ לאורח או כבוד לאורח מתוך מקום של שמחה לקבלו כאשר הוא נכנס או עוזב את המקום...

Hidden gem. Very isolated from the centre so scooter is a must if you want ti go hang out. The restaurant at the hotel is okay not that great and a bit pricey. Although the free yoga class and the pool and everything about this place is amazing. Unforgettable place.

שכרנו 2 וילות עם בריכה בינהם, הנוף היה מדהים וילות מרווחות עם הרבה מקום. הוילה של הילדים היתה בסדר עם מטבח מזווד יחסית, טלויזיה , מיזוג , שולחן גדול, מקרר ומה שצריך. מחוץ לוילה היתה מערכת ישיבה. בוילה של ההורים היתה רק טלויזיה מיטה זוגית מפנקת וחדר רחצה עם שירותים מקלחון , אמבטיה וזוג כיורים. זוג הכיורים הי מאוד נוח כששנינו התארגנו בבוקר. ארוחת בוקר טעימה עם תפריט צנוע. הבריכה היתה נפלאה, הזמנו אוכל ללברכיה הוא היה מאוד טעים. המסעדה במלון היתה מצויינת .

בוילה של ההורים היה חסר לנו מקרר לשים שתייה , קומקום להכין קפה תה , ושולחן לשבת עם מחשב או לקרוא בתוך החדר במזגן. , חדר הרחצה היה גדול, אך לא היתה הפרדה בין השירותים המקלחת והכיור, כמובן זה מפריע. זרם המיים במקלחון היה חלש ולקח למיים החמים המון זמן להגיע. מכיוון שהמלון נמצא בין טבע מדהים יש המון חרקים , בחדר היו לנו נמלים ועכבישים , ולקח זמן עד שטיפלו בזה.

We had a wonderful stay at Puripai! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. They kindly upgraded our room, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The team was also very flexible with arranging shuttle times to the city, which made our stay even more convenient. On top of that, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary vouchers — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly appreciated. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing and enjoying Pai’s atmosphere. The service was outstanding and always delivered with a genuine smile. Highly recommended

Hotel increible. Maravilloso. Eramos un grupo de 7 y nos alojamos en una villa con piscina privada, zona de juegos y todas las comodidades. El personal es muy amable, profesional y dispone de mucho servicios para hacer la estancia excepcional: clases de yoga, spa, masajes, gym, billar, zona cocktail-bar y un shuttle gratuito de las villas al centro del pueblo de Pai. En plena naturaleza, absoluta tranquilidad, relax y un ambiente mágina.

La oferta de fruta del buffete de desayuno podría ser algo más extensa. Aunque ofrecen un menú cocinado al momento con varias opciones.

Beautiful scenery, lovely staff

We had an issue with our pool which took 24 hours to fix which was a shame as we were only there for 3 nights.

Currently under renovation – once completed, I believe this place could become an absolute paradise.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in the heart of nature! The location is stunning – surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. Our room was spacious, super comfortable, and beautifully designed with attention to every little detail. You can really feel the thought and care that went into creating this place. The staff were so kind and helpful, always with a smile and ready to assist. The pool was a real highlight – relaxing in the water while taking in that incredible view was just magical. We didn’t get a chance to try the food since we were meeting up with family in town, but judging by how well everything else was done, I’m sure it’s just as amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect, relax, and enjoy a peaceful retreat in nature.

First the view is spectacular, especially our unit it venture towards the valley. The glass door over looking the valley was a nice touch. Woke up in the morning with mountains as landscape is the best.

Probably one of the best hotels in Pai. Lovely quiet location with hill views and for some reason a kale farm in the garden. Have yet to find any privately owned high end establishments in northern Thailand which offer luxury in all areas, this place is no exception, but that’s not a reason not to stay.

Everything could so easily be better! As regards the villas, common areas, food and beverages, all of them fall short of expectations. Due mainly from poor design and maintenance levels and a lack of inspiration from management. Villa Items missing, badly maintained or just clean broken. No health and safety considerations making unsuitable for children, the disabled or the unwary.

Air-conditioning was very noisy, even on the slowest setting. Bathroom door would not close. Mirror and lighting in the hand basin/shaving area was very poorly designed.

The room was amazing - it was exactly like the photos. The view was incredible - so serene and relaxing, despite only being a 10 minute drive into the town centre. The facilities were modern and clean. The breakfast was incredible with so much to offer. Very nice staff who let us stay the whole day after we checked out, as well as use the free shuttle into and back from town. Highly recommend!

We loved the tranquil and peaceful location, the room was clean, cool, and spacious. Housekeeping left daily care packages by the door to top up the water and refresh towels. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Could’ve stayed for weeks it was so nice and relaxing. The evening had live music overlooking the landscape as the sunset - very romantic!
