The staff is very nice and helpful, answering immediately. The beach is better than what you can see on booking, much more spaceful. Very good food both in breakfast and restaurant. A lot of additional services provided such as kayak, bike, pool, spa and so on.

Our wing (north wing) was very old compared to the others and there is no balcony… Sea is available only half a day due to tides. Outside of the resort is a very poor neighborhood, so you need a taxi to reach new city, you cannot go by walk

Breakfast good

Great service provided by all the staff, and the resort is very well kept and maintained. It is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Food in the restaurant were very tasty with huge portions, and the selection for breakfast is a decent spread. The beach is very clean and well kept, and we can rent kayak and stand up paddle for free. (provided the tide and wind is right). Snorkelling in from the beach is pretty cool too, although it is mainly seagrass, we still spotted some fishes and really cool sea creatures. We even saw some puffer fishes! The room is comfortable, and they're prompt with any requests we have. Definitely recommend and would return!

The breakfast was amazing! It was really a Filipino breakfast/style set up with a lot of choices. I believe all the balikbayans like me enjoyed it a lot. The beach is just few meters away from the hotel and the luxury room we had was in the poolside….very satisfied with this hotel!

Teils unfreundliches Personal. Der Strand entsprach nicht den Bildern, voll mit Algen und steinig. Es wird beim Check In nach einer Verifizierung gefragt von sämtlichen Mitgliedern, was nirgends vorab erwähnt wird. Ebenso eine Zahlungshinterlegung die ebenfalls nirgends vorab erwähnt wird. Die Zimmer sind Verhältnismäßig sehr teuer und dennoch wird jede Kleinigkeit berechnet wie Snacks die bereits auf dem Zimmer vorhanden sind.

莊園式的度假飯店，雖然離外面的街道有點距離，但是飯店里應有盡有不需要再出去外面的商店或餐廳，整個飯店的氛圍非常的放鬆與休閒，有兩座泳池與自己的海灘，餐點也都很棒，晚上的酒吧也很推薦，如果是需要放鬆一整天的人，非常推薦來這家飯店度假。

住宿地點雖然比較偏一點，但是離主要的街道跟海灘都不遠，飯店本身在海灘上也有餐廳跟酒吧，也會安排歌手現場演唱，性價比很高的一家飯店，如果來到薄荷島會有比較多時間待在戶外的人，推薦這家飯店，如果是想要整天都在飯店休息遊樂的，它的設施屬於比較簡單一點的。

We stayed in the family villa, which included three bedrooms and a living area this worked well for our family. The resort grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered good options, and the quality of the coffee was one of the highlights of our mornings. We also enjoyed several dinners at the resort and found the food to be very good. While resort dining can often be expensive, we felt the prices were reasonable for the quality and convenience provided. The private beach was another highlight, with soft sand and well-maintained grounds that were kept clean throughout our visit. The pools were also excellent, and the children spent a great deal of time enjoying them. Overall, the combination of comfortable accommodations, great food, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding service made for a very enjoyable stay.

Our only significant issue occurred at check-in. We had one more adult in our group than was included in the villa, so we needed to pay an additional guest fee. We should have reviewed the details more carefully before booking, but it did result in an unexpected expense upon arrival. The resort is somewhat isolated so we found ourselves relying on local transportation whenever we wanted to leave the property. This wasn't difficult, but understand that there are no areas in walking distance. Aside from those minor concerns, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au Costabella Tropical Beach Resort. Nous étions un groupe de 15 personnes et avions réservé six chambres, ce qui nous a permis d’avoir une assez bonne vue d’ensemble de l’établissement. Le cadre est vraiment plaisant, avec un accès direct à la mer et une jolie plage privée, bien aménagée. Les deux piscines sont également très agréables et permettent de varier facilement entre plage et piscine. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les différents bars et restaurants du resort, chacun avec son ambiance. Les chambres sont grandes et les lits confortables. Mention spéciale également au personnel, toujours très sympathique, souriant et avenant.

La cuisine est bonne dans l’ensemble, mais pour un hôtel de ce standing, nous nous attendions à un niveau un peu plus élevé. L’établissement commence également à montrer quelques signes de vieillissement et certaines chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement. Ayant occupé six chambres différentes, nous avons notamment constaté que certaines climatisations étaient assez bruyantes et gagneraient clairement à être remplacées ou modernisées.

I got food poison from the dinner we had in the hotel, We didn't have food anywhere else because the location of the hotel is a bad area outside the complex. When my wife told the hotel they didn't take the matter seriously and it spoiled our plans, we had intended to spend a day with my wife's sister that she hadn't seen in 40 years but due to my food poisoning we had to go back to the hotel , They offered us free drinks and fruit then but it was a little too late, And it was a pity because we had intended staying there on our way home in a month.

We had a 7th floor room with a great view of the ocean and pool. It had a private balcony and a massive bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. The pool looked nice and clean but I didn’t swim. I swam in the sea instead and the private beach is pretty good. Great wifi.

The hotel is 45 years old and could be upgraded. The drinks are a little pricey and the food we ate was oily at the small restaurant by the sea. The buffet breakfast is better.

The bathroom, a shower is now than enough. Bath tub is to high for a filipino and it's very dangerous after taking a shower that you slip. The shower is difficult to adjust and it makes noise.

Breakfast food was consistently undercooked, and the fruit selection was disappointingly small given this is marketed as a “tropical resort”. Food Panda deliveries are not allowed. Service water made me sick. Location was bad (do your research on Mactan first), and the next door resort, Tambuli, has loud music into the evenings.

A beautiful resort in an amazing location! The pool is stunning, and the private beach is exceptionally well maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge variety of delicious options to choose from every morning. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

Die Anlage ist gepflegt und macht insgesamt einen schönen Eindruck. Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und von der Größe her absolut in Ordnung. Für uns war das Costabella eine gute Wahl als Zwischenstopp vor dem Rückflug. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen eignet sich das Hotel sehr gut für ein oder zwei Nächte, um entspannt weiterzureisen.

Wir kamen direkt aus Alona Beach und kennen unter anderem das Henann, Bluewater und Pineale. Dort bewegt man sich zwar ebenfalls in einer touristischen Umgebung mit höheren Preisen, dennoch empfanden wir die Preise im Costabella als noch einmal deutlich höher. Vor allem Getränke sind aus unserer Sicht überdurchschnittlich teuer. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist das noch akzeptabel, für einen längeren Urlaub würden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis jedoch als weniger attraktiv empfinden. Eine Woche würden wir persönlich dort nicht verbringen.

The room, the facilites, the relaxing area, the pools, the staff, the whole atmosphear. Everhthing was just fine without the wifi/internet.

Wifi and internet. Unstable wifi (internet) with problems. At some times (some hours) it was hard to use it for something meaningful except sending simple text messages (with no hurry to arrive) because the wifi went up and down (connected/disconnected) but also even if wifi was connected the internet did not work. I called the reception desk about this and they said they should restart it but in best case it made it better for a short while.

Size of the resort (not too sprawling) and dining options. Room was a good size and lovely view.

The Spanish ambiance was beautiful and the beach front was amazing. Staff were all helpful and security makes you feel safe.

Breakfast was excellent, Bed was huge, The maintenance (Painting) did not affect our stay and will only enhance the beautiful surrounding and gardens. Beach area was well maintained, Obviously tide time affect swim ability, but beautiful pool to swim in at low low tide. Whole complex is tucked away and feels very private, chose it due to its close proximity to airport. Didn't spend too much time using facilities as we went out and did a day trip to Moalbol and Oslob, but I would recommend.

Cant say anything stood out, except if you were possibly older climbing into bath\Shower combo maybe a problem. Room 590

I like the staffs and how child-friendly the facilities is. It's gives every parents an easy holiday vacation.

I think our room was just a lot of alates (flying termites) for they showed up inside my room for 2 nights during my 3 nights of stay there so I had an impression the whole area of the room itself is full of termites. In my last night of staying there i can heard the wood at the headboard of the bed something crawling . I hope they will try to fix this issue asap. Posting photos as a reference that there is a sign of termites in the headboard of the bed.
