Large stylish rooms
i loved the attention to detail, i had no problems gaining entry, the staff was great, coffee at the entrance and other drinks, which i loved. the staff was fantastic
there were a couple addicts a few doors down doing what addicts do, this is no slight against the property, sadly this is common place in London these days, so sad...
It was easy to access, and enjoyed the keyless entry. Remote check-in was great, was able to verify quickly at the front desk that check-in was successful and no awkwardness with having my guest show up late. Only issue was a fire alarm occurred that wasn't due to a fire, but even than it was resolved quickly.
Towels are a bit small
Nice contemporary hotel. Everything automated and phone-app-centric. Lots of lovely little touches. Nothing to complain about. But, I think that this is a hotel best suited for a younger crowd. Not so much for those of us at an age when the services and comforts of a traditional hotel are appreciated.
Reception staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, large and spacious. The hotel is just next to Covent Garden Market.
There was a concert going on near the hotel and I could hear the noise from my room but thankfully it didn't go late into the night.
Great location room was lovely and great price. The elevator is working fine booking.com just not been updated
Bizarre rule of security deposit needing to be taken before day of stay or else they cancel your booking. I gave a card for the deposit but they couldnt take it due to their issue and still cancelled. The staff were great and rebooked me when i arrived and price matched original cost but still a weird rule.
Great location, walking distance to everything. Clean amenities and rooms were nice.
A little bit over priced I would say. But it gives you everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was hugely overpriced for the quality.
It was a very unique experience for me. I've never stayed at a boutique hotel before, but will be on the look out from now on. They put a lot of thought and detail into making certain that their customers stays are relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
The place was overall very clean, but the dark tiles of the shower floor must make it difficult to see if it has been cleaned thoroughly enough. I think ours could have used a bit more scrubbing, but the bathroom otherwise was impeccably clean and luxurious.
Il ragazzo alla reception è stato molto gentile.
Ho trovato un capello arrotolato sotto la coperta.
Great location, the best technology, bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was very dark.
Clean, spacious and the price is right. Hotel staff head friendly, kind and helpful.
Pillows were a bit overfull, which made me wake up with a bit of a still neck, but otherwise exceptional!
Right beside the market which we visited twice and enjoyed.
Paid parking
Room was very nice, multiple kinds of toiletries provided, multiple kinds of coffee and a couple water bottles are complementary directly in the rooms. Many towels, a couple bathrobes, and even ironing equipment are provided
No door in the shower so it gets a little wet on the floor outside - not a big deal since there are multiple large towels available
We had a reservation for 2 nights. On the first night we received a text from the hotel saying that the front desk was closing soon so they had checked us in and given us the key code for our room. The credit card that we had used to book the room with was charged in full for both nights and parking. Our plans had changed and we did not arrive the first night but after a 6 hour drive, we arrived for the second night. Expecting that we were checked in as the text message had stated, we went straight to the room and used our code. It did not work. We went to the front desk to be told that our reservation was cancelled and our room had been resold (even though we had digital confirmation that we were checked in and the room was paid in full). The hotel was now sold out and we were left without a room. We were advised that their policy is to check out the room and cancel for the second night (again even though we were digitally checked in and the room was paid in full). I have scoured their website and there is no policy or terms and conditions stipulated anywhere, including all our email and text correspondence. There was no attempt to contact us to see if we still required the room prior to the cancellation and resale of our room. I would never trust this hotel again. I have never experienced a checked in/fully paid for room, being checked out and resold (likely for a higher rate), leaving the customer stranded. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.
Good location to venue

Location
The whole hotel and rooms smell of perfume and air freshener. Asked specifically for fragrance free room and did not get
Visited with my 2 dogs for graduation week; felt completely welcomed.
The homeless situation. Although mostly non-threatening, I wish we had better social programs in Ontaro/Canada. Not a hotel issue, but definitely apparent in this area of town.
More light near the vanity
It was all great.
Not a big deal, but having a bar might have been a bit better. But since it is located downtown that wasn't such a huge issue.
Everything smelled great; hallways, room, reception.
It sucks that breakfast is not included and that there was no microwave/toaster.
The uniqueness
I've finally get refund back and thank you management team for special exception. The front staff Justin was nice but he never mentioned that refund would be processed after the approval from his manager before we left the hotel. This was misleading information but hotel finally helped to solve this issue.
We arrived to hotel and told the front staff that bathtub in the room is dirty and old, no curtain in the shower room. It’s hard for us to stay and Justin told us that there would be no charge for us if we didn’t want to stay and truly understood our concerns. Then we decided to leave the hotel immediately because he mentioned that there would be no charge for us plus the car park fee refund as well. It was for my birthday trip and I drove all the way back to Toronto at night. Justin rejected for refund now and asked me to contact booking.com for refund issue. I asked for a written note from him just in case if there is charges to my credit card after my departure, he said don’t worry and no charge for us, he won’t give me a note about this. I further expressed that the payment was gone through to their hotel, there is nothing I can deal with hotel.com. I felt so angry that they lied to me and telling me different things now, if he never mentioned there will be no charge for us, why I must leave the hotel as full payment is required???
Cozy spacious room
Shower head was really high up, a hand held would have been better

Everything
Very clean, good facilities and the room was much larger than I expected.
I wish breakfast was an option
Nothing
Bad customer service. The worst.
Unique hotel, loved that it’s not your standard generic chain hotel. . Really comfortable.
Loved everything about it.
Rooms are spacious, well laid out and lit well. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of places to visit within walking distance. Great place to stay:

Walls paper thin.
Central location right by Covent market. The loft suites are stunning and so comfortable.

Great location beside Canada Life place
It’s down town London so some homeless about
The hotel is clean, the staff are very nice and the location is perfect with close proximity to downtown, train station and the hockey.
The pillows were impossible to sleep on. They gave me a headache so had to sleep without pillows. Because of that it is not ideal for a long stay. Not a fan of the virtual check in with the app either but as I was fiddling with it a very nice receptionist came over and checked me in.
The fact it was close to where I needed to be
Parking, not easily accessible, no microwave, not crazy about the bathroom set up, no restaurant
The staff were super friendly and helpful , the bed was very comfy and the value was incredible.
Location was right across the street from our venue so that was ideal. Bed was comfortable.
Loud fan or something humming all night. Terrible sleep. Turned off thermostat but it did not do anything. Told front desk as we were checking out. She just said she would have maintenance look into it.
Outstanding location. Very quiet retreat with a great urban vibe outside: restaurants, entertainment, and even a large indoor market across the street. A renovated area in an older city, so you have to be aware that parking and roads are not the same as in suburbia.
Wonderfully location, staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms have beautiful set up and very comfortable and clean. I would recommend to my family and friends. Thank you for a warm and welcoming stay.
It would be nice to offer breakfast.
Very nice set up , loved all the little extras
Dark lighting in bathroom
Clean room, friendly staff, easy check in
The good and the bad: Good: nice clean hotel in the downtown area if you are looking for downtown. Its very quiet and the room was quite spacious. Staff are good, no issues. Bad: Depending on your personal taste, the bathroom situation wasn't for me. There is a small room with toilet. The shower and bathtub are in the open so no privacy. Parking is a bit of an issue. There is a parkade across the street but no in/out privileges for $26. So that didn't work for us and had to park outside at a private lot a bit of a hike from the hotel. I like to book on the hotel website but found it way cheaper on expedia which doesn't make sense to me.
Location suited our needs but a bit rough
First, our room was not ready at check-in time which was a problem. We were referred to the manager who does not work weekends (we were checking in on a Saturday). The room’s windows were into an internal space. The pillows were huge and uncomfortable.
Retro vibe
No parking on site.
It was cute and nicely broken down.
No parking, window view of the wall, hard bed, and tv was weirdly placed
Bed and pillows weren't great. Pillows were too big and stiff.
The room was lush and comfortable. The soaking tub alone was worth the price.
Great location big rooms tall ceilings
Floors a bit squeaky, rooms a bit dark.
It's walking distance to where we wanted to go. We go there often so are familiar with the rooms.
The shower in the bathroom needs attention, the heads are clogged.
Location, price, clean, safe, and staff were helpful. The little extras were appreciated such as Keurig coffees, robes, cookies/candies bottles of water.
I am very sensitive to scent and found the air fresheners strong and irritating. Parking isn’t ideal, however they do offer a discounted exit pass for the Market under ground parking. Having a shower, bathtub, and wash up sink in the bedroom was different, felt a little odd but certainly workable.
Nice big room and the bathtub was long and deep. And bed was comfortable. Also love that it's a nice little hotel and little to no contact with staff. Will go back.
It was cold. We turned up the heat but the room still felt cool from the big windows that needs an update I think. Also our sink drained extremely slowly.
Close to where we were going
There are not many places to eat.
Layout of room was nice, good facilities / amenities
Not very clean, room was very cold and took a long time to heat up. Could hear noise from other rooms.
Nice place !
No parking at the hotel but public parking in front at market place.
Location
Lighting
Its accessible
Television was not working out of service. Thermostat also weren’t working so we couldn’t adjust the temperature and it was freezing all night. Called for maintenance but no one showed up.
Breakfast was not available. The location was excellent as we were so handy to the Canada Life Place.
It would be nice to have a restaurant for breakfast.
Room was good size and clean
Parking and reception availability
Large room, clean and very quiet!
Lighting in bathroom over sink terrible!!
Room was clean but the mattress was horrible very uncomfortable
Mattress was very uncomfortable left at 5am because we couldn't sleep on it. Parking was horrible. Took them two days to put my deposit back on my credit card
My husband and I did a quick trip to London Ontario, and stayed at the Hotel Metro. The receptionist (Mae) was very helpful /polite and accommodating to help us with questions. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in a very popular downtown area of London
The rooms were nice looking, I liked the big soaking tub.
The staff was friendly, guests were rude. Person above us was stomping around from 4pm until 5am without stopping. We did inform staff but behavior from guest continued. Other guests were messing with staff ordering things like extra towels and sheets to our room in the middle of the night, when we were sleeping. Glass in shower wasn’t clean, and the grime trapped under the glass of the desk was kind of gross. I also understand the need for the keypads outside, but when checking in for the first time it’s confusing.
Although I had trouble with the online check-in process, the receptionist could not have been more helpful. Full marks for her, and another receptionist who helped me during my stay.
I had trouble with the online system so could not get the room code.
The location is what this place is all about!!! Park up and just walk closely to everything downtown
The price is higher than other places and parking is a charge but really and truly if you are doing things downtown or rock the park. The time saved and taxis and such is all worth it!!
Close to where we were going
Nothing
Excellent location for enjoying downtown London. Room design was nice. Very quaint hotel.
The coat hook on the wall in the room was broken. Both me and my husband felt uncomfortable going to get our car from the underground parking lot the next morning. There was drug paraphernalia laying on the ground at the bottom of the stairs. Fully understand that this is not something the hotel can control but it does effect the hotel’s parking
Right up town
Wonderful staff
Needed a place to stay after a night of dancing. Staff super friendly, room very spacious and modern with living room space and partial wall sectioned off bedroom. Great amenities and rain shower nice touch after a long night of dancing
Close to the London music hall and wonderful lady running front desk made are stay
Location
Bed was uncomfortable Dated design
The size of the room
The staff were very friendly and easy check in process
No parking lot outside hotel
Everything went very well, pleasantly surprised with the spacious, kinda sexy room.
We struggled with the TV a little, but the clerk came up and sorted it out with us quickly
