Half eaten apple core in lobby, soiled couches in lobby, received a room key upon check in only to find someone else already in room, next door to a homeless shelter, staff slow to deal with issues.
It was clean
1- very soft and uneven mattress, worn down, caused back pain for both of us. 2-Close to homeless shelter.
very bad, the light in the room is broken and the room is very dark, I had to wait a long time for the elevator, and there’s a lot of noise from construction upstairs.
Price was good but evem for that price I expect a basic level of cleanliness.
The room smelled and had various types of stains all over. Around the property there were druggies passed out at all hours.
The young lady at the front desk on arrival and departure was lovely! Polite and was very friendly! The breakfast was good and was nice tgat it was included which I hadn't expected. Overall....the property is dated and definitely needs a re-do! But for the price I paid....it was fine. Definitely better than the Days Inn! The room was clean and comfortable.
My few issues....first was the drug re-hab facility next door. Just not a welcoming nor secure feeling with having tenants from there hanging near or on the hotel property. I didn't like that parking was not included. The Staywell tgat I usually stay at does not charge for parking. Who..when travelling there doesn't have a car? Included parking in tge room price if you need to! The other was tge noise and having only one elevator. Again...understand you need to have Reno's happening....but maybe list that so people know when they book. 🤔
We requested fresh towels before we went out, came back several hours later and still no fresh towels so we had to go down to lobby and was told there was no maid service (sad) to add every hotel I been to had at least two bot.of drinking water, there was none in the rooms , again we enquired and was told by receptionist they dont put water but he will do us a 'favor' and give us a bottle of water, this behavior is unacceptable, as such we left no tip for room service because there was none, you'al gotta do better in regards to hospitality. This statement is 'what I didn't like'
Same as above.
All new furniture
All is good
The staff were helpful and friendly
The location is not good. Leave it at that. Breakfast was the simplest all inclusive breakfast I have ever seen. We skipped it.
Clean
Renovations happening
The bed is well spread and comfortable
The construction noise and also lack of complimentary drinking water in the rooms
The king bed was very comfortable Staff were friendly
The area was a little sketchy, and the pullout couch was very uncomfortable
Very clean
The homeless around
C’était assez bien
Les itinérants près du site
The room was nice and spacious
Elevators weren't working at one point
Like knowing this place has always made me want to come back when visiting London Breakfast 630 to 930 is at 100% satisfactory estimating 24 ft of choices of morning food and drink .
...vending machine ,needs technical work on coin slot repair
Asked for an accessible room and was told np in email. When got there, apparently they are renovating but there are no accessible rooms, ie walk in shower and taller toilets. Also there wasn't an electrical outlet in bedroom to plug in cpap machine. One outlet not near bed with a power bar and electrical cord was attached and placed under carpeting to one side with the air conditioner plugged into it. This is totally unacceptable and could probably be a fire hazard In this day of aging clients this property is not looking out for seniors in mind or others wkth health issues We will not be returning to this property. I will say that we were offered to go elsewhere, but it wasn't easy at that time to look elsewhere. The staff did upgrade us, but it wasn't a perfect solution
Close to downtown- unfortunately is past few months the homeless and drug problems expanded their area into the adjoining streets and Sandman is at the edge of it all. Not their fault and they have very good security and card access program in place. Kudos to Sandman.

we got a complimentary upgrade to a suite
Homeless shelter next door but they keep to themselves
The parking amenities.
Location/surroundings
Good location. Within walking distance to main stops for our visit.
The shelter next door is definitely a negative unfortunately.
Room was comfortable and quiet. It was close to the venue we were attending.
The price for the room.
The environment and the courteous staff, in particular the front desk lady, Smriti.
Non availability of porters.
elevators were slow if not on service
Excellent staff, clean, quiet. Easy check In. Great location to walk to dinner
Bad neighborhood felt unsafe outside right around hotel.
Room is clean. Staffs are friendly.
Many drug users loiter near the entrance.
Morning Breakfast very good 👍
Clean room quietly good place to stay secure parking good customers service good peoples 👍
Excellent from start to finish. Room was immaculate, facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great. Thanks!
It was all great. No complaints at all.
Location.
Being quoted 2 different prices for early check in. One of 35 when I got there was told 40. No glasses in the room. Had to ask. I have never had a hotel not have glasses in the room. Coffee was pretty bad as well. Also weird that the ac couldnt be felt in the bed room area of the suite. Lighting was pretty bad in the bedroom
Room
Check in was difficult. Asked 3 times to slow down their speech - wasted request
It was located in a good place close to amenities
The room size could’ve been a bit bigger. There was only one elevator in use.
The Kking suite was great value for the location.
Room was comfortable, spacious and clean and we can cook which was fantastic
Downtown
The room was spacious, clean and the cost is great. It was well-equipped with fridge and coffee maker. The free continental breakfast was a plus.
The adjacent area was surrounded by individuals who appear to be unhoused and under the influence. There were some garbage on the sidewalks too.
Clean and check in girl was very pleasant.
Many homeless people around.
Beds were clean and comfortable shower had hot water and good pressure
Got stuck in an elevator and was told there was no stair access …carpets are old and rooms are in need of modernizing
It was close to the train station the security of the building was good
All the homeless so close

Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms outdated. Basic amenities not available. No body wash refills just bar soap. There was carpet Beatles. Breakfast was so gross coffee was hot water. Not up to par with sandman .
운서역에서 가깝고 시설은 깨끗함
프론트 직원들의 고압적 태도 및 불친절함
Conveint location
The curtains in our room were bolted to the ceiling so we could not close them, was not happy at 6am....woke up because there was an alarm set on the clock, not by us, and then couldn't get back to sleep because it was so bright!!!!
The rooms were clean and close to all amenities
Right beside a homeless shelter I believe it was. You are right downtown and there is a lot of homeless, drugs and literally poop in the street. Not the hotels fault and we never felt unsafe. Only other thing was we couldn’t open a window. Felt stuffy and couldn’t air out.
price, proximity to downtown, bed
proximity to homeless shelter, parking fee for back open parking, early check in fee
Close to downtown at a good reasonable rate
You look like The shower was a bit dirty still
Needed a hotel in London for 2 weeks while my apartment was repaired after a flood , was reasonably priced and the room was a good size with a working kitchen .
The location is dangerous and unsafe , was frequently approached by the residents of the neighbouring House of Hope who actively use drugs in front of the building . Without the locked and gated underground parking there is no way to stay there with a car without putting a vehicle at risk . The staff were inconsistent, some were excellent and very organized others were unhelpful and disinterested . Cleaning services were also unreliable, the room was only cleaned 30% of the time it was requested and not thoroughly .
We were there for day surgery which worked very well. To reduce stress we left the car at the hotel and took an uber to the hospital. It was quiet, the air conditioning worked well. We had a fridge and microwave. Lots of hot water and a nice bath. I liked that the front desk called to ask if we had everything. Staying there made day surgery easy.
The bed was a bit saggy and the pillows too fat
All are Excellent All are Excellent All are Excellent All are Excellent All are Excellent
No
The shower pressure was good
Bad location Lots of homeless people Breakfast was below average at other places that I’ve stars in. You have to pay for parking compared to free parking in other places. Why am I paying for parking for a place I’ve booked to stay over night? Are they assuming I’m walking there?
Room good, the black out curtains were torn and let the streetlight through. Should be replaced. Bed excellent. Breakfast, ho-hum
My credit card was charged more than the amount on the invoice. I reported this via email.
A pleasant front desk staff, easy check-in, a very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, sufficient towels, a satisfying complimentary breakfast.
lack of free bottled water and the lack of a free local newspaper
Clean, value
Location
The bed was very comfortable! Loved having a separate bedroom from.sitting area.
Various doors were locked at different times. It isn't a terrible walk from door to door but was annoying.
Lots of poor reviews for this hotel based on the neighbourhood - welcome to downtown London! There's a few hotels on this same strip, they all have the same challenges, Sandman is a solid choice and very good value. My wife and I never felt unsafe, there are lots of security measures that the hotel has put in place. The hotel itself is a little dated, but very well kept. We opted for the King Suite and it was impeccably clean, quiet, comfortable, and very well appointed. Even the provided breakfast was a pleasant surprise with some premium options. Absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again, and will recommend it to others. Thank you to the excellent and super friendly staff for making our stay so enjoyable!
It was a 10 minute walk from Canada Life place. We stayed one night to go to a concert. Really good pub across the street, but lots of options in the area. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Relatively quiet. Grab and go breakfast had good choices.
Building is a little run down, but that's not a deal breaker. Other ppl have complained about the homeless shelter next door, but there was a visible police presence in the area and security available. We didn't feel unsafe. They kept to themselves and didn't bother anyone.
Bed was pretty hard, toilet needs to be elongated and higher
The room was fine, big bed was great.
The area of london is rough, but I know you have no power on this.
I would like to thank the front end staff for the kind and probation customer service especially the employee name Tanya Nathrani. Very present to talk to her and learn about the city as it was my first visit to London Ontario Regards, JT Suman
The building and rooms are old and need update atlease update the rooms paint Rey every white color to freshen up the place it felt I was in 70s
When checking in at the front desk Was met by an amazing Lady, My husband is in hospital in London, She was very considerate and caring for my needs .
The room was quiet and comfortable, but they were missing some things as advertised (no hair dryer, aged room). Great complimentary breakfast. Fair pet charge.
Extra charge for parking of $16 per night, but not quoted in room information. Also not quoted that security deposit also required when we prepaid for the room
Safety is compromised. Do not stay here. It is beside a shelter and the community hangs around the hotel despite police clearing it. I specifically asked the hotel when I booked and was told it was not an issue. That was false. I had to explain the fentanyl fold to my kid. I had to explain why we were not going out for dinner and ordered Uber Eats as I did not feel safe walking 5 min to the restaurant as a female. The hotel is dilapidated. The poor lighting hides the sins (stains, uncleaned coffeemaker, couch pillow was wet). At 4am, someone tried our hotel door. It was beside a stairwell where we had seen men just standing in the stairwell. My daughter and I flew out of bed. I had even put a chair in front of the door. That is how unsafe I felt.
Clean
Nothing
There was no pool
lovely staff and large clean comfy room
Staff very nice. hotel was clean and met our standards
I would never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it. The location was the worst place we had ever seen. People beside the hotel were doing drugs, half naked and disgusting. I mentioned this to the front desk personnel, they told me it was an ongoing issue and nobody cares. I'm surprised your hotel is still operating. I would never had stayed there if knew what was coming. Send this review to the City of London and let them know what people are saying. We made sure the hotel door was locked securely all night
Needed key card to get free breakfast and twice to get into hotel from underground parking. Possibly because of Hostel next door. Parking is $16 a night. Tv selection was poor. Could not get Leafs game or Thursday night football. A 2.5 star hotel pretending to be a 4.
