Nice property in a great location. Close to the train station, plenty of parking. Outside area with tables and chairs was great for the summer evening. Rooms and bathroom very good, everything you needed and nothing you didn't.

Bar / Restaurant was closed for renovation but we were made aware prior to arrival.

Such a lovely place, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and really lovely hosts

Only one duel plug socket in the room located on the desk not near the bed. Glasses and spoons had not been cleaned. Biggest concern however was that on 3 separate occasions someone tried to unlock our door while we were in the room. By the time we managed to check, the person had gone. This was alarming. Our key was left in the door and partly turned, preventing another key from entering the lock on the other side of the door. Once might be a mistake, 3 times is definitely intentional.

staff lied said the had no room, i had booking confirmation and was unable to get in or get refunded eventually they let me in and id be told they had no rooms, i was fleeing for my own safety and this was an awful way to help someone and i was very distressed

Heel charmant hotel met een leuke binnenplaats waar je kan parkeren en zitten. Nette kamers, heel vriendelijk personeel. 10 minuten lopen naar het treinstation vanwaar de trein naar Londen Euton gaat. Heel eenvoudig met een dagkaart inclusief trein en metro.

Niets. Bij een volgende investeringsronde misschien airco installeren.

The facilities are quite dated. Overall a bit tired and in need of an upgrade but good value and lovely staff.

Nice quiet area! Everyone of the staff where super friendly and helpful considering I lost my phone and would love to thank the young women who helped me reach out to my friend using her phone to het me back home after a wedding!

Location and set up was perfect for me. I was in town for a birthday party, so needed somewhere easy, safe, functional and close to my event. Good location, walked into town, but quiet and away from traffic etc. Staff were unassuming and very accomodating.

The room we stayed in was very comfortable. I do however think we were put in the wrong room because I booked a family room however there was a double bed and a single chair. I thought with a family room you would get a sofa bed as well.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful.

The room was very hot and stuffy and it wasn’t even a particularly warm day. I can’t imagine what this would have been like in dead of summer. We were on the ground floor so couldn’t leave the windows open at night as there was no security around the facility. The room decor was a little dated. We actually really liked the retro feel - an old radio in the night stand and the trouser press - but none of those things worked so it went from retro to dated.

Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with lots of gluten free options.

I had stayed at Boxmoor Lodge previously & my only observation was that the first floor rooms weren’t fitted with a bath, unlike the ground floor.

Repeat visit to this lovely little independent hotel in a great location. Mark and his staff are lovely and very welcoming. The courtyard room was cosy and clean and lovely to have the door open onto the garden in this weather. Continental breakfast with quality ingredients was a treat to look forward to every morning

Very accommodating as we came early but was able to get into a room and drop bags off so that was very helpful..room was clean and nice had a homely feel ..breakfast was nice but we didn't have to cooked one as that was extra but the choices we had for cereal toast fruit was much choice..staff were nice and welcoming. Would come again.

The room was extremely comfortable with options of different furniture to facilitate work or leisure. Although remotely checked in, the owners were welcoming & courteous. The availability of a bath is a definite plus.

Room was a good size for a family, the hotel is located in a nice area. Breakfast was lovely and the team who work there were really nice and friendly. We would definitely book again.

Although breakfast was included I could not have it as service does not start until 07:30. Which is much too late for business guests.

Excellent location, convenient for the train yet you couldn’t hear any trains from the hotel due to the trees and green space across from the hotel. Also it had a large comfy bed.

I wanted a small hotel where I felt safe not being with crowds of people. The motel style rooms were perfect. The room was clean and the bath towels were huge. Easy walking distance of a fabulous pub for dinner. Good continental breakfast and the poached eggs I had with the cooked breakfast were cooked perfectly …which is unusual in a hotel!

The rooms were a little dated. The Info/ photos on booking.com need updating as the hotel has changed recently to a b&b.

I like the simplicity of the arrangement, it's a brick built motel arrangement. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The property was easy to find, close to transport links. It was clean, the breakfast was very good all the food was fresh and well presented.Staff were friendly

Nothing went well. Because I wasn't told my booking was cancelled and found out when I reached the venue. Shambles. I rang a number and the person was rude and unhelpful.
