La puerta de ingreso a la habitación era dificil de abrir y tocaba jalarla fuerte porque la manija se trababa, para una persona con problemas en las manos, seria fatal.

Wir waren kurz zwei mal hintereinander im Hotel. Das erste Zimmer lag im ersten Stock über dem Innenhof und war sehr hellhörig und mit einem offenen Bad ausgestattet. Gestört hat mich besonders das nicht zum Schlafzimmer geschlossene WC. Beim zweiten Mal hatten wir ein Zimmer im EG beim Pool, wunderbar ruhig und mit einem tollen modernen Bad.

El hotel está ubicado en una casona preciosa, decorada con mucho gusto y bien conservada, con unas instalaciones cuidadas y cómodas. El personal fue encantador y el desayuno, una maravilla. La habitación era muy amplia, preciosa y la cama comodísima. Está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila y silenciosa pero muy cómoda para ir andando a todos los puntos importantes. Muy recomendable

Por decir algo, y por si puede ayudar a mejorar. Las luces en la habitación no contaban con un interruptor general para poder apagar/encender desde la cama y había pocos sitios para poder colgar toallas o ropa mojada, pero solo lo comento por si puedo contribuir.

Per un hotel a 5 stelle é inammissibile non avere un condotto di areazione nel bagno, un armadio per 4 persone e tutto in una stanza. Un hotel a 3 stelle alla metà del prezzo fornisce gli stessi comfort

Camas e roupas de cama excelentes. Decoração charmosa, ambiente muito agradável.

Falta de canais abertos na TV e iluminação do quarto indireta.

Τα δωμάτια γενικότερα χώροι και όλο το ξενοδοχείο ήταν υπέροχο με απίστευτη αρχιτεκτονική! Το προσωπικό ήταν ευχάριστο και εξυπηρετικό!

Μόνο στο πρωινό υπήρχαν κάποιες ελλείψεις και ίσως θα μπορούσα να το εμπλουτίσουν περισσότερα πράγματα.

Ottima esperienza Location perfetta, in pieno centro ma allo stesso tempo abbastanza lontana dal rumore. Le camere sono molto belle, curate e confortevoli, e la colazione è davvero buona. L’unica pecca è l’assenza dell’ascensore: se la camera si trova al secondo piano, salire con le valigie può essere un po’ faticoso. Per il resto, esperienza davvero positiva e soggiorno piacevole!

La struttura è veramente molto bella, immersa nel pieno centro storico di Cartagena. Camera molto grande con un bel bagno. Sono presenti più piscine, sauna e bagno turco.

Lo sciacquone del water si è rotto per 4 volte. L'acqua della piscina non è proprio cristallina.

Les photos sont tout à fait conformes. L’hôtel est très charmant, plutôt typique et extrêmement bien situé dans le centre de Carthagène - tout est accessible à pied. Le personnel est très accueillant, en particulier avec les enfants. La piscine est pratique après une journée de visite.

Le petit déjeuner est assez sommaire et il n’y a que que deux ou trois transats autour de la piscine. Les lits sont petits (queen size)

We got upgraded to a suite here and it was awesome! Fantastic location, roof top (small) pool, and super cute inside. We loved staying here and wish we'd stayed longer! The breakfast was good too :).

Colazione, posizione e pulizia i punti forti dell'hotel. L'hotel è molto silenzioso nonostante si trovi in posizione centrale nella città vecchia. Nota di merito al ragazzo dello staff che si occupava delle colazioni, molto gentile e disponibile (e parlava anche inglese).

Piscina sul rooftop con grande potenziale ma non sfruttato in termini di gestione e disponibilità (andrebbe migliorata la pulizia, il ritiro teli usati e rifornimento dei nuovi, bar). Piscina al piano terra non fruibile essendo davanti alle camere e con un solo lettino. Staff alla reception poco ospitale.

La piscina sul tetto avrebbe molto potenziale ma andrebbe gestita meglio (pulizia poco approfondita, mancata rimozione teli usati, bar non funzionante, no musica di sottofondo) o comunque dovrebbe essere presente un servizio di base. La piscina al piano terra è praticamente inutilizzabile essendo fronte camera e senza lettini. Staff alla reception poco ospitale.

De ligging was heel Mooi in het centrum van de stad. Ontbijt was echt heel lekker!

Il personale dell'hotel e' fantastico, gentili, attenti. Eravamo lí per una gara di ginnastica di una delle mie figlie e ci hanno fatto trovare in stanza un piatto con della frutta e un messaggio di complimenti per lei. Questi sono dettagli che fanno molto piacere. Sono anche stati molto flessibili con noi. Dovevamo uscire presto per la gara e ci hanno aiutato con una colazione da portare via. Sempre allegri e sorridenti. Ci siamo sentiti a casa.

Consiglio di accendere le piscine la mattina presto, per cambiare l'acqua. E di sostituire le fodere delle sdraio (che ora sono di spugna e si vedono un po' vecchie e macchiate) con qualcosa di piu igienico. Perché non danno idea di pulito. Anche gli asciugamani per gli ospiti andrebbero un po' rinnovati. E gli ombrelloni della zona piscina sul tetto sono rotti e non si aprono.

Everything was so lovely and amazing at the Faranda Bantu! We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. We came here to celebrate our birthdays and the staff surprised us and made everything so special. Cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. The staff were friendly and so welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful, has great pools for the kids, a delicious breakfast and stunning courtyard and rooftop. The staff were so friendly and kind. It’s also well located and a close walk to everything but on a quiet street.

Heel mooi hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt en fijne faciliteiten. Zwembad op het dak is erg prettig en Herman die elke dag aanwezig bij het ontbijt is een super vent zoals alle medewerkers die allemaal heel vriendelijk zijn. Locatie van het hotel is ook top.

Best hotel I have ever been to. The pools, the patios and the room. It is just so beautiful!!! Breakfast was great, it was buffet. We explained the staff about my son's celiac disease and they gave him everything fresh from the back. He was very happy.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann alles in der Stadt zu Fuss erreichen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen, mit den Innenhöfen und dem Baustil.

Todo es perfecto, me encanto el lugar. Disfrutamos cada centímetro del hotel. Excelente ubicación, lejos de tabernas o lugares ruidosos.

Todo me gusto mi calificación es un 10 sobre 10. Solo una recomendación, tienen un arbol de mangos, les recomendamos por seguridad hse de ustedes y de los huespedes colocar una malla en la parte superior en donde puedan recogerse el fruto. Lo que permitira evitar un riesgo potencial. Fue lo único que sugerimos tomen acción

The staff members are excellent people. Very attentive and super friendly. The location is spot on inside the city walls and close to best restaurants and bars in Cartagena. German is super courteous and took care of us . Will come back to this hotel just for his superv service and dedication. !!!

We really loved the hotel Bantu. The room was large, the hotel staff friendly and very helpful. They smiled like they genuinely liked working there. Nothing was too much trouble. They recommended some very good restaurants to us. We didn't have a bad meal the whole stay. And the location was perfect for sight seeing and going out in the evening to eat. But although the old town feels reasonably safe daytime or evening, be aware that outside the walled city, is another matter. It is very rough out there. We were disappointed with the hotel for organising a trip for us to Playa Blanca and Playa Tranquila, about an hour away by bus. These are very basic beaches lacking running water and any good standard of facilities and they are best avoided, although the people the hotel organised it through tried their best to give us a good experience in difficult conditions. Not up to the standard we would have expected of a hotel otherwise providing a very good standard of service, which the Bantu does. The swimming pools at the hotel are both small but OK for a dip in the evening in quite pleasant surroundings. We would use the hotel again if we came back. The breakfasts are basic but perfectly OK. They will make you a decent omelette. And the Colombian coffee there is very good. Good coffee makes or breaks my holiday! And ignore all the internet rubbish about being followed around constantly by hawkers and rappers. It is no worse than Greece. A polite "no thank you" and they leave you alone. We almost cancelled our holiday reading about that and we are so glad we did not. The hotel has a security gate into the building which is manned all the time and you never feel unsafe there or in its surroundings. Yes you can dress up nicely, wear some jewellery and carry a nice bag when you go out in the evening. Just don't flaunt it and you will be fine.

The location of the hotel was amazing- right in the centre of Cartagena. Once you stepped into the hotel, it was a peaceful, cool haven with beautiful decor and facilities.

Hotel Bantu was well situated in the historic old city. The room was spacious and comfortable. The common areas were unique and picturesque. The breakfast food was tasty and made to order. Most impressive was the attentive, friendly and high touch service. We had a great stay including enjoyable and reasonably priced massages.

Mucho ruido, es zona de fiesta y el hotel es muy céntrico en la zona turística. Además se escucha demasiado a los vecinos de habitación.

Excellent location, but the staff was the star of the show. Superior attentiveness and assistance with any needs. Even packed us an early breakfast bc we were departing at 6:45 (before breakfast opened). The facility is attractive and quaint. Enjoyed the pool each day.

Wished the AC was colder but it was fine once you settled in from the exterior heat.

Adequate breakfast with plenty of choices. Room was clean with plenty of space. The biggest problem were the biting insects in the room. They looked like small black smudges on the walls. When I realized that they were winged insects, I took a small amount of toilet tissue to kill them. My ankles and upper legs had bites the three nights that I was there. I got tired of scratching and applying corticosteroid cream.

Quirky boutique hotel with a few issues. The good things were the hotel location, the quirky design and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The main issue was that there was no hot water for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Also, the sound insulation is poor so voices and footsteps travel easily from room to room. Furthermore, our room had a strange arrangement whereby people in the room above could look down into our bathroom! Very weird. Finally, we had booked a junior suite with pool view but it didn't feel like a suite and did not have a pool view - although the people in the room above had a bathroom view! If this was a budget hotel these issues would be acceptable but, at the price they charge, they are not acceptable.

Beautifully renovated house. Full of gorgeous spaces to relax. Great breakfast. Friendly stafff. Good location.
