voco Nanjing Oriental Pearl by IHG

Prima

Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable

Very clean and spacious rooms that are easily accessible from the railway station or centre. Very popular accommodation option for Chinese tourists and I can definitely see why.

Nothing.

Location

Terrible front desk services I have ever experienced, staff are unfriendly. We shall not recommend to anyone.

Clean, modern, spacious, thoughtfully designed, not overly cluttered. We heard from a friend after our stay that the hotel has been refurbished over the last few years and guests can really feel that it is freshly revamped. The toiletries are lovely - would have bought some of these if they had been stocked in the merchandise area. Overall really very nice hotel in a lovely location with lots of local colour.

Directions for public transport could have been included. It’s was pretty hard to locate, but we worked it out in the end. Could be included in Booking.com Info.

Very good hotel, modern, clean with nice staff. Breakfast served in a nice restaurant with a very wide range of western and eastern dishes.

It is difficult to communicate in English. The rooms could be better soundproofed - the hotel is located in a busy area and traffic noises are clearly hearable, especially at night.

Second time in this hotel - nice staff, downtown location, comfortable room and very good breakfast. Relax and modern atmosphere.

Horrible experience the hotel should not have conducted renovation project while guest is staying. Especially I was not told about this before booking. During my stay my room was right below the construction site the drill sound was so loud and vibrating either in the morning or afternoon and I could not sleep or having a nap properly. I couldn’t work because of the noise and I am extremely disappointed when I complained the reception made up an exercise saying they only decided to renovate the hotel after I checked in. What a shame.

Not being told about the renovation and being given a room right below the construction site with extremely loud drilling noise.

Location, and the breakfast were all great. Staff also very responsive.

This hotel is more suitable for business travel rather than leisure stays. Nothing about the hotel probably, just a personal thing.

The room is pretty clean and has technology(Virtual assistant). I saw the pic showing the room has a Dyson hair dyer, but in reality, it doesn't. Overall, perfect location and cleanness. Note the highest level is 6. Don't expect too much. Recommended.
