The property itself is nice with beautiful trees. We requested to change rooms after the first night and the second room was much better, as we paid for a room with private terrasse and this one actually had one with shaded trees. The first room we were given only gave access to the roof and was right under a floor under constructions which stopped at 19h!!! We also loved the adjoining bakery Monique where we had breakfast every day
Like said previously, half of the property is under renovations (which was not specified at the time of booking) making some of the rooms really noisy and harder to get to. One of the restaurants was also closed for renos, making room service unavailable. But the worst part was the welcome… my partner is Nepali and his country has an agreement with India for free passage, making a passport unnecessary. The lady at the reception named Simran was extremely ruse when he handed his national ID card, refusing to let him speak, claiming this was not enough and a passport was required. Then she took the id to give for verification (which was later cleared) but gave no apology. It wasnt so much that she didnt know the immigration rules of her country that bothered me, that can happen. But it was how she shut us down completely, convinced she had the correct Information, and speaking rudely. This greatly affected our mood for the rest of the stay. Also, it should be noted that while the hotel is located in a beautiful and upscale colony, the access is hard, making finding ubers difficult and being stuck in traffic at all times a given. Would definitely not recommend!

Poor handicap access , despite pre informing that I dm physically disabled, room access was difficult, elevator was not working . Placement of the air in the room Wrong , air was blocked by a pillar . Hence , room temperature was a huge issue.
Small boutique hotel with a garden and friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nice big bathroom. They even gave us gifts upon departure.
The location - it was difficult to get Uber, several drivers cancelled, so we had to use hotel taxi. The beds were a bit hard.
Some days there was no alcohol and no room service.
Excellent staff- very responsive. Quiet neighborhood. Superb restaurant called Inja at hotel, very unique. Fair pricing for rooms. Felt very safe.
Far from city center. The hotel was just a bit short on the cool mid century vibe-slightly dingy. Breakfast at the onsite breakfast.
It's a perfect stay in a cozy neighborhood. The breakfast is amazing.
Serene and beautiful location, very lovely staff
Quite a large difference in comfort between rooms
Showerhead
Friendly staff, all very helpful and we also enjoyed meeting with the charming kind host.. Mr Manmohan Singh
good breakfast by a independent restaurateur , not linked to hotel or by the hotel.
Old tired rooms, in an old tired hotel , with disinterested stafff. some had peeling paint and mould. its took 4 room changes to finally find a room we could stay in. If you are senstive to noise train noise is continuous. not mentioned any where. Old dried flowers on the table that had not been changed in weeks. The only drink you can get is at the 1 external restaurant on the property. and its closed on tuesdays. Location only good if you work in South Delhi. At 18,000 a night the price of a 5 star full facility hotel , this fell well short. Boutique hotels typically make up in charm for they dont have in facilities, but htis was just sub standard. Staff memeber named Prince checked us in at 7 pm, by which time all other staff had left so he had no access to change for a 500 rupee note , he had no people skills whatsoever and just wanted to secure the payment before anything else. The other staff member named Deep was most polite , upbeat and helpful.

Amazing property
Reception staff were not supportive
Fantastic architecture and design. We were there for only one night, but had a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the restaurant on-site
We were happy with everything
I grabbed a spicy cheese croissant and a raspberry ice drink from Monique!
Room size could be bigger, especially the bath/shower area.
Breakfast was a choice of 2 excellent restaurants
die Ruhe, das Frühstücksrestaurant mit schöner Terrasse, die Lage
Location was okay
Rooms were horrible, very small and not worth the price. They gave us the standard room despite us paying for the executive room. The shower in the bathroom didn’t work properly, the water pressure and temperature kept fluctuating. Despite many complaints, staff did not do anything
colazione ottima!

La struttura è ben curata e le camere sono accoglienti e pulite
Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare l’hotel
This property is overpriced for what you get. The room was dark and the amenities were limited. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The staff and the owner were excellent to deal with.
It's a bit pricy considering it's in Delhi.
Didn't have breakfast but the roasted tomato soup and sour dough garlic toast at Camillo's was a treat
Nothing really
Very nice and quiet place! You will love the birds chirping in the morning, service was on point, restaurant very good. Highly recommend it 👌
We were visiting friends and The Manor was very conveniently located. The Manor is a converted property and has its own charm. We loved staying here. Our only criticism would be the speed of service at breakfast - a tad slow. Apart from this, great stay.
Property is dated. Designed to be a boutique hotel, it’s seen better days. Furnishings are worn, faucets look rusty, A/c is temperamental, and air purifiers send out dirty smelling air. Hotel promised to change air purifier — a required amenity in a city as polluted as Delhi — and swapped it with one that didn’t even turn on. Food in restaurants is overpriced; you can get a full 5-star lunch for the costs of breakfast. Hotel was in an area convenient to visit family but never again will I suffer this experience. Managers when confronted acted as tho these were my issues as opposed to genuine concerns about a substandard experience! Most quality establishments would offer a meal or some amenity for such a situation; I got a cold shoulder and a barrage of excuses. Much better price value can be had even in Delhi!
The restaurants at the hotel were exceptional. Very tasty food.
Room was very basic. Could use a bit of a face lift considering the price.
Very quiet, large comfortable room, food in Inja was really good
Breakfast service. As it’s outsourced the boys serve you with no real feeling or love. They don’t even explain what’s included
Location to the trade venue NSIC okla
I thought that for the price we paid of 20,000 which was almost on par with the deal that I was getting at Taj Palace. I felt that the hotel was very basic. It didn’t have an elevator. It didn’t have a hair conditioner ir dental set in the bathroom. It had a very small shower. The temperature of the water in the shower was neither could not be really controlled. It was either cold or just hot and the fittings in the bathroom were very Outdated. The restaurant food was very ordinary and expensive, and the bakery croissant was just terrible considering they call itself a French bakery.
Decent stay for one night if passing by in city. Would not stay for entirety of vacation
you have to order the breakfast from the menu, which is too limited. with the kind of tariff charged, one expects reasonable breakfast spread.
Elegance of the hotel, very nice, serene atmosphere. its a bungalow converted to hotel.
Wonderful Boutique Hotel! We arrived in New Delhi to be able to take an early 6am train the following morning to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. We needed a thotel not far form the station. We were picked up at the airport and taken to The Manor. As we checked in the owner and Manager ,Mr Singh, greeted us with such wonderful hospitality as he share a little about himself and the history of this gem of a hotel. We have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and The Manor had so many of the amenities you find in a 5 star hotel . Such attention to detail! We had a wonderful meal in the on site restaurant Camilla's and Sachin the waiter met all our special meal preparation requests! I would highly recommend The Manor....and we are traveling around the world in 67 days..so we are staying in A Lot of different hotels!
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Location quiet and pleasant although not very central.
Very expensive especially the food. Breakfast was good, but the Italian food was poor, oily and inappropriate. Disappointing that no Indian cuisine available. Japanese too expensive to contemplate. Patisserie had very good coffee but cakes do not make a satisfying dinner!
I have returned to The Manor because I love smaller boutique hotels .This is a 14 room hotel that has personal care for each of its guests. It is classically designed but showing a little wear today. The staff is kind, & attentive but there are a couple drawbacks today I believe the owner should attend to: 1.Better Room Air Purifiers (not the one present): We were not informed upon arrival of the room the air purifier and the very poor, dangerously unhealthy polluted exterior air seeped into the room causing us to sleep and wear n95 masks IN our room fir two days before complaining and then the staff informed us if an existing purifier that should have been plugged in. Still other hotels have better room air purifiers and it’s my hope that The Manor improves this equipment. 2. Faster attention to technical issues (no TV internet for 3 of the 5 day stay). 3. Dense Traffic: Traffic of the main road outside the hotel, although not noticeable much inside the hotel grounds,is dense . However, not a big issue. 4. Staff to Better Inform: We were not informed about the Bakery on the grounds until we were set to leave. We were not informed the 1st day of the one Indian breakfast option. Just because we were Westerners didn’t mean we only wanted eggs & toast. We complained & after that each morning breakfast was great. Staff very attentive. 5. Last Day:We had to leave before the breakfast room officially opened by 1/2hr They could not accommodate a “to go”anything. Not good service
Extremely disappointed with this hotel . I arranged for collection and they didn’t come . The place was further away than stated and I had to book another hotel because I was stranded . They didn’t even check or care whether I came or not I wish to complain and request a refund for inaccuracies and being let down
It is located in one of the quiet and posh suburbs of Delhi. It is a boutique hotel which does not have the hustle and bustle of a commercial hotel. The breakfast was hearty but if one is staying for a longer period than two days then due to lack of variety it may become boring. It has a beautiful garden setting which is well maintained. I was impressed by the response of the owner who upon contacting while overseas was able to get the local staff to handle my request for an early entry to my accommodation - very thoughtful and thanks for the same.
Entrance at night from main road to the hotel was the only discomfort.
They said they didn’t have our reservation and then charged us more for a night.
Great service and good location! Some very nice restaurants attached to the property.
Amenities could have been better for the price point. No gym / spa/ pool. Room heater provided was very old school.
As someone who travels a lot for work, and happily stays in cheaper hotels at times, this experience was nothing short of terrible. Despite having two separate bookings for myself and my colleague, we were forced to share an apartment because the hotel had apparently overbooked itself. This was not only highly unprofessional but also unacceptable, as it directly contradicted the terms of our reservations. Additionally, this was never communicated to us before arriving in the room after a full day of work meetings. Additionally, given the hazardous air pollution levels in Delhi during our stay, it was critical for the hotel to provide an air purifier. As someone with asthma, I was left in a vulnerable situation, which severely compromised my health and comfort. And finally, when these issues were raised, your staff attributed them to alleged "hackers on Booking.com." This explanation does not absolve your hotel of responsibility for the egregious service failures.
Bad location; Uber Drivers keep cancelling They Can't find location. Takes a lot of time before you find a cap. I was unpleasantly surprised that there was no warm water. The tub or shower were lukewarm. All days! No flowers or fruit in the room. Business like atmosphere Bathroom old. All kind of tools were not working. You need to ask for cleaning; you need to ask for invoice. Without asking they skip these services
The calm and serene ambiance
It got the job done. Had to carry suitcases up the stairs and through a few corridors.
Great hotel in New Friends Colony. Clean property, rooms, courteous/excellent staff/service. Would definitely stay here again. Would ask hotel to improve their internet access, which dropped very often.
The breakfast was very good, but the service and the setting of the cafe was way below expectations
The room lighting was very limited, no full view mirrors or tissues, no elevators and opposite rooms visible and they could see into our room from the windows. Not easily accessible in the night as the colony gates shut and its a much longer drive around, which the staff didnt see the need to inform before hand.
Stay was pathetic… there’s a railway track behind the hotel and every 20-30 mins you could feel the vibration in the room. The room was so-so… no character. The in-room dining was horrendous. The tool an hour to deliver the food and it was cold. For the price the Hotel is definitely not worth it.
very fine food creative. personnel extremely helpful and friendly one cannot walk around anywhere in polluted Delhi
some broken or misplaced hardware for example, there is a bar on the outside of the shower door but none on the inside which means the person taking a shower has to reach the top of the glass door to pull it inside in order to get out of the shower. Wi-fi operated off and on
Warm welcome from Mr Singh. Restaurants in the hotel are superb!!
weak water flow from the shower
Facilities are missing! There was no breakfast offered. False advertising. The food in the adjoining restaurant is overpriced. There is no proximal easy dining available, hence the price gouging. For the price, one expects toiletries, an iron, and various small things. These are things you don't notice when it's there, but when it's missing, you feel ripped off. It's more like a glorified AirBnB.
The perfect escape from the busyness in Dehli while being close enough to visit everything by car ☺️
Sometimes the train was loud
Amazing staff, beautiful property and room, clean with everything you need, and fantastic food! Truly an oasis in the city!!
Nothing
Location
Prices of everything is very expensive and breakfast not included in such high prices is just not fair.
Hotel front was unable to locate our reservation made through Expedia. We paid a night with new reservation and requested a refund to Expedia. Still no idea what was the cause of problem. Expedia chat was very helpful for me to report this problem and the troubleshoot was made on time via email. However, hotel did not tell me anything about this. Definitely not want to select this hotel due to this bad experience. Expedia service was satisfactory
The bedroom, bathroom and restaurants were nice and modern
I wish there was a pool as there is nothing much to do when it’s very hot outside and you don’t want to go in the city
