The conference venue, AV set-up and food was all fabulous. It’s great being next to the basin. Room is clean and tidy and comfortable bed.

First the bathroom light didnt work and didnt turn on. Switches didnt work for the kettle turn on or the microwave...lamp shades didnt work only managed to turn on 2 lamp shades on, one downstairs in the living room and one in the room. TV in the room didnt work. Aircon for the heater didnt work either...for the price of $260 of one night is not worth it...unfortunanly y we didnt enjoy our stay and just had to deal with what would used for light and heat. Please do better for the next customers stays because they will be just as dissapointed as we were. I would not recommend this place to anyone...however customer service was exeptional and the bed was comfortable.

I don’t know why they hang the “room service cards” on the inside door handle when every time you open the door they fall off meaning you slip on them when you walk in. It’s stupid and dangerous. Find somewhere else to hang them before there’s a bad accident.

We stayed in 517 - bedroom on an upper level which is great heaps of room in the lounge and can see the Panmure Basin great for a walk.

Spacious suite Very friendly receptionist. Beautiful breakfast buffet. enjoyed shower pressure. Clean and tidy.

The hotel restaurant is open practically all day and offers a good menu, including a self-service buffet. It is also within walking distance of Sylvia Park Mall. The rooms are clean, the garden is beautiful and well maintained, and the reception and common areas are clean, spacious, and well presented.

The room was quite old, with old furniture and beds on wheels that moved easily, making it uncomfortable. The air conditioning was only in the separate living room, so the bedroom was cold at night and would not be suitable for a harsh winter. My biggest disappointments were that, despite requesting a cot for my 7-month-old baby in advance, it was not provided, and my request for a late checkout was not answered. I would have been happy to pay a reasonable extra fee, but I was surprised to be asked to pay for an entire additional night just to stay a few extra hours, especially without a comfortable place for my baby to sleep until our flight. Thankfully, after some discussion, a staff member kindly spoke to the manager and allowed us to stay until 3:30pm at no extra cost. I appreciated his help, but the situation was very stressful. Had I known about these issues beforehand, I would have chosen another hotel.

We were lucky enough to experience the Ambassador Suite. The Restaurant meals were very very good quality and well priced...The parking so easy.. Staff welcoming - We loved our stay ❤️

Beds and pillows super comfy. Room was bigger than expected and the balcony and view was a bonus very good view! Breakfast and the Buffet dinner were good. The staff were amazing.

Not all lights worked in our room. There was no Sky TV only Freeview Breakfast was really good but on 1 of the days the bacon was cold and eggs were.a bit underdone for me

Free parking and location

Room wasn’t noise proof - could hear jumping sounds in the room upstairs, could hear talking and the shower/toilet from the room beside ours. Early morning (1am’ish) chatter and laughing out on the corridor one morning. The room we were in, the toilet had a constant urine smell. It needs a good spring clean.

It was clean and the rooms are comfortable and great value for your money.

Staff and services, Front desk was not helpful upon check in. Room service we called for dinner and food arrived cold. The next morning calling to ask about breakfast for my mother and kids they were told to go to the breakfast buffet instead of the room service they were after. I booked this place because the first time i stayed there it was great, this second time around was a really poor experience especially for my kids and mother. I will not be staying here again nor will i recommend it again.

Excellent price point. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Location was perfect for what we were down in Auckland for, great to have the lagoon loop walk after a long drive. We'll priced dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Bed & pillows were too squishy. Loud music from wedding at the hotel however all was quiet by 10.

Very clean. The room was nice. Nice view. Super comfortable beds. Very convenient location. And really like that the parking is free.

I think it's a shame the spa closes at 5.45 in winter we were looking forward to a spa after dinner until we realized it was closed. Saw that there was a bath in our room so decided that would be nice instead but the plug didn't seal properly. Had a spa the next day and it wasn't very warm unfortunately. There was a lot of noise at night doors banging water running so hard to sleep. Also if a family of 4 has booked 4 towels in the room would be nice instead of us having to ask. Staff could have been a bit more friendly when we asked about the spa and towels.

As a family of 10, (spread out through 3 separate rooms) our stay at Waipuna was exceptional. Check-in was seamless, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel including the restaurant were very accomodating. The buffet food was delicious. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back again. Thank you!

The air-conditioning unit was loud, no door on the shower also there was a glass partition separating the bathroom and bedroom which had a curtain

The room was a good size, location was central to where I needed to be. Restaurant was close by.

Bathroom was dated and small, shower wet the floor making it slippery, chairs in lounge area were old and ripped with over use stains, fridge in kitchenette was old a wobbly. You charge a $7 room service surcharge yet both times I used this service it took between 3-4 mins for someone to answer my call, I felt the surcharge should give me some sort of priority. Also Noone helps with your bags or fetched a luggage trolly for me.

This will be my new go to accommodation in Auckland! Convenient to every location I wanted to go, amazing size rooms with comfy double beds, huge bathroom with a shower AND bath!!! Staff were amazing, super quick check in, helpful when we thought we only had one towel & great room service menu. Fast internet, heaps of parking to the point larger vehicles took up 1.5 parks & there was still plenty of parking available. Bins in front of the elevators was also very handy.

Restaurant was overcrowded with reserve tables empty. We struggled to find a seat on the second day, the staff were kind and accommodated however it wasn’t nice having to make a fuss just to sit for breakfast we had already paid for.
