Best Western Ellerslie International Hotel

Amazing stay staff upgraded my room for free. I had the buffet breakfast with alot of options and it's close to the motorway which was handy for going north or south

I didn't like how lumpy the mattress felt. I still had a great rest though.

Good location. Close to Sylvia Park shopping centre. Clean.

Minor details but water was very hot and didn’t seem to be a plug for the sink.

Neighbour turned on the tele 1 am very loud and opened his entrance door. I got out of my bed and unlocked our door, stepped out and banged on his door very loudly. I then shut our door and returned to my bed. He turned the noise down to an acceptable level so I could go to sleep. The sound still came through the wall.

Great spot, great facilities, fully recommend.

Bed was very firm which didn't suit but that's a preference thing.

room was clean and tidy and and upgrade was appreciated. The hotel was well situated for my purposes. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.

The room decor was tired and dated. The heatpump was noisy and needed a service. There was no pen and paper available. The shower head could not be directed to an area that didnt spray onto the floor when teh shower door was open.

Staff are lovely.

No microwave or toaster in the spa bath suite. Okay overnight but it would be nice to have a piece of toast or heat up leftovers.

Close to ski slopes. Room to dry coats and shoes. Shower & toilet in the room

The mattress was uncomfortable. Cod feel the springs. Could find space to put food in fridge, it was always packed.

All was great!

It was clean, it smelt freshly cleaned, not masked. It was spacious for 2, very clean simple layout. Bathroom was wonderful.

Parking was full and tight, other vehicles not parking right. Did have to endure some men talking very loudly, but one hocked onto the driveway. and it was quite thick.

Room was good size and comfortable. Had stayed previously . Handy to attractions we required.. We were given late checkout to assist our travel plans which was appreciated.

Had noticed previously and aware of that extractor fan in bathroom continues operating for sometime after being switched off. Minor comment in dining room needed to ask for separate crockery etc for entree dishes . Small touches

Decent room. Nothing to complain. Everything worked as expected. There wasn't any noticeably disturbing noise from the road. The open parking lot is adjacent to the building within the property, not right outside the door. No dedicated parking spots. Rooms on the upper floors are accessible by stairs only. Could be awkward to park the car on the sloping driveway to unload or reload. Google maps routed us poorly.

The reception demanded my credit card details orally over the counter. Which I'm not happy to share. ANZ still doesn't understand creditcard fraud.

Aircon unit didn’t work in the room was cold thank god for the electric blanket - as there were no extra duvet or sheets either

Comfortable and nice and nice big unit fir family visiting.

I didn't like that waterblasting and washing of units going on right in front of our unit and we got wet and were very inconvenienced by this, I understand maintenance but not when full paying guests are staying in the unit, there were ladders, waterblasting, hoses a real inconvenience to us while we were preparing to attend a 21st function. Please do not ever do this whole guests are staying I will think twice to go back there to stay if this is what happens when we want peace and quiet.

upstairs tv needs to be tuned in the kids weren’t able to watch it which meant i had to share the downstairs one a bit annoying

It was up to it's usual standard with no area for complaints. We have stayed there many times now and have never been disappointed.

Beds were a little hard for us

Great sized room, comfortable chairs and the best shower I've had anywhere . Restaurant was really nice and some of the staff were just so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

Bed was a little bit too hard but that's just personal preference. The two staff that checked us in one was great and the other a bit off.

Bed was nice and comfortable, room was pleasant. Don't have to pay for parking and was able to park outside our room the main reason we booked as every else we looked at had to pay for parking.

something's looked tired. the building itself could use a pressure wash or paint. there was a crack in the sink and behind the mirror, showers looked old and small. would be good to see the owners put some pride in their location.

The staff were lovely and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we knew our way around the place and how to access our room after hours. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our family booked 4 different rooms and they were all suitable for our needs.

The interior was very modern and nice. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed. It was also very spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Next time I would like to try the restaurant.

The parking spaces were quite tight especially between the garden bed and a car behind me. The information booklet was digital which didn’t quite have the feel of being on holiday and in the know. I also couldn’t get into the info page so that was a bit disappointing as that’s one of the first things I look at once I’m unpacked.

The handy location, motel is quiet.

Getting to the stage where it needs some TLC, in particular the bathroom was getting old and not looking so clean because of this.

I have been there before and as a regular I have asked them a comfortable bed would be nice and they have immediately upgraded to a superior room which I felt was like a heavenly.

very noisy!!! Road noise, neighbouring room noise etc. There doesn't appear to be any sound insulation at all - very hard to sleep. I was in a room at the back of the property too so was surprised by the road noise. Electric blanket on bed was not working - luckily the heat pump kept me warm as it was a particularly cold night

The mattress was a bit too firm for my back, it appears that my colleague who stayed in another room had a mattress that was too soft.
