Pesimo servicio a la llegada, espere mas de una hora por la entrega de habitacion que me dijeron tardaba 10 mimutos. Pedi algo de comer y despues de 35 minutos nunca me sirvieron lo que pedi en el restaurante. HAbitacion llena de polvo, con la lampara de luz principal sin funcionar, sin posibilidad de preparar cafe. Sin cobijas necesarios, con fallas en el funcionamiento del aire acondicionado que genero ruidos de pitos de encendido y apagado en la madrugada.

Tiene una excelente ubicación en Getsemani, fácil para caminar por la zona y también para ir al centro histórico. El restaurante al lado del lobby es muy agradable. El personal super amable.

El estilo del hotel es ecléctico lo cual lo hace único pero también puede generar disgusto a quienes prefieren habitaciones y espacios impecables.

Casa Lola was excellent! The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and greeted us with a smile every-time. Breakfast was delicious, the bed were extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby.

I had a great stay at Hotel Lola in Cartagena and would absolutely stay here again. The first thing that stood out was the design. Every area of the hotel has its own unique vibe, from the check-in area to the common spaces, making the entire property feel fun, stylish, and full of character. The rooms were just as impressive. Mine was a two-story loft that was both comfortable and unique, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping the room nice and cool even in Cartagena’s heat. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, and I was greeted with a welcome drink as soon as I arrived, which was a great first impression. The food was another highlight. The arepas were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, and the hotel’s central location makes it easy to walk to countless restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions. The only minor downside is parking. It can be a little challenging directly at the hotel, but there are several secure parking lots within a short walking distance, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, Hotel Lola exceeded my expectations. Between the unique design, comfortable rooms, great food, friendly staff, and fantastic location, it’s an easy recommendation. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Beautiful boutique hotel with an amazing rooftop and pool. The staff, especially Yerson, Santiago and Duber went out of their way were outstanding and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. The breakfast, service, decor, location… all if it made this a 10/10.

El hotel es un encanto, todo es para vivir una experiencia debido la atención, la decoración envolvente (inspirada en los patios de Al-Andalus), su terraza, su comida.

La habitación que nos tocó era muy pequeña, si bien ofrecieron un upgrate que no pude tomar. Pero daba la sensación, a veces, de agobio

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lola and would highly recommend it. The hotel kindly upgraded us, which was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special. The location is fantastic — perfectly placed to enjoy everything around Cartagena and ideal for exploring the city. The restaurant was excellent, the pool area was beautiful and a great place to relax, and the overall atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable. Most importantly, all of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay. The service was consistently good and made us feel very well looked after. We had a great time and would happily return.

There were only a few small areas for improvement. The hot water sometimes took a few minutes to come through, the rooms could benefit from a little more lighting as they felt quite dark at times, and in the two-storey rooms it would be helpful to have a phone and a few amenities upstairs for extra convenience. Overall, these were only minor details and did not take away from what was a very enjoyable stay. We had a great time and would gladly return.

This hotel is so lovely and visually engaging! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and the service was very friendly. Special shout outs to Yeison and Kelly for their help with taxis and transfers. They went above and beyond to help us!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Lola. The location is fantastic, right in the vibrant and culturally rich Getsemaní neighbourhood. There is so much energy in the area, from colorful streets and local cafes to music and nightlife, which made exploring Cartagena easy and exciting. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless. The hotel was incredibly helpful assisting us with booking a car from the airport to the hotel, which made our arrival completely stress free. Checking in was a breeze and we felt welcomed right away. The hotel restaurants and amenities are excellent. There are great options on site whether you want to relax, enjoy a good meal, or spend time with friends. The rooms are funky and interesting with unique decor that really adds to the overall experience and charm of the property. A very special shout out to Yeison Medrano for going above and beyond with his professionalism and assistance. He truly elevated our stay and made sure everything ran smoothly for us. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Lola to anyone visiting Cartagena.

So, the location is directly in the heart of Getsemani which is really great! Also, the stuff was awesome! I had some complaints but the stuff handled this very professional and they were really sorry about my complaints.

I had some things which I thought for a 5star rated hotel and this high prices was not acceptable. But to be honest: the team/stuff handled my complaints very well and I must value that this was a five star service how they handled my complaints.

The location was absolutely prime - couldn't have asked for better. We were in Room 6, which turned out to be perfectly positioned away from the hotel bar and rooftop area, so it was nice and quiet. Even though our room was street-facing, the nightlife in the area didn't disrupt our peace at all. We didn't end up trying the breakfast since we had other spots in the area we wanted to check out, but the rooftop pool was a highlight for us - two separate mini pools up there, and we loved it!

Honestly, we have nothing negative to say about our experience. Everyone we encountered was great and friendly, and everything met or exceeded our expectations.

A localização é ótima. Fica a 5 minutos de caminhada do centro histórico e dos restaurantes. A decoração é linda.

Acho que poderiam disponibilizar uma opção doce e salgada para o café da manhã, e não ter que escolher entre eles. É apenas um prato “principal” - bem servido, porém, daria para incluir mais um. Além disso, ficamos num quarto voltado para a área social, e a música ambiente era muito alta e ia até tarde. Houve um pequeno incidente com a limpeza do quarto no check-in e com água quente, mas tudo resolvido.

precio valor no tiene sentido, una tarifa super elevada para lo q ofrecen, no tiene buena ropa de cama, ni colchón, ni ducha, aun tienen cortinas platicas, el acceso a la cama por las escaleras es incomodo, la cama no tiene copete, se caen las almohadas al piso de abajo, cero confort.

Casa Lola was truly a one of a kind gem. The staff was warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The decor and ambiance were beyond our wildest expectations. Dining was a lovely event with excellent old world service and delicious meal options. The location gives easy access to local neighborhoods as well as the walled city. All the rooms are beautifully decorated with all the amenities. We cannot wait to come back very soon.

The hotel has been converted most stylishly from two old properties. It was an absolute delight to stay here. The food at breakfast was delicious. The main restaurant was also excellent.

Nos encantó Casa Lola, y nuestro overall rating es con el objetivo de que mejoren en áreas donde ya son buenos, pero pueden ser mucho mejor. El lugar está ubicando en un lugar espectacular, y el staff es muy atento y servicial. Mi mayor sugerencia para Casa Lola es con la limpieza. Todo está muy limpio, pero el aromatizante que usan es tan fuerte que yo pase dos días con migrañas. Les dije que por favor no lo echaran en la habitación, pero aún así el olor es muy intenso, tanto que se siente desde la acera cuando vas entrando al hostal. Property condition is good, pero la primera noche no tuvimos casi agua y no tuvimos agua caliente por 3 días. Tampoco nos dieron colcha, sólo sábanas para taparse. Yo pedí una colcha y me dieron un cobertor que solo alcanzaba para la mitad del cuerpo. A pesar de los inconvenientes nos gustó mucho el lugar. Está decorado muy bonito y original . El restaurant no lo usamos, pues es súper caro, hay otras opciones mejores y más económicas, que se puede ir caminando .

Beautiful property with amazing rooms full of character.

To me it just doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff are pleasant but not as accommodating as one might typically get. The shower was also cold for 2 nights and a pipe flooded and ruined some of my shorts but they sort of just didn’t mention it.

Uncomfortable, several times we don’t have water at the rooms, the staff is very limited, no safe walkways is not lighting around

The hotel is gorgeous, it feel like staying in a little art gallery where every piece had been carefully curated . The service is impeccable and every nook of the property is perfectly designed.

This place is really in the heart of the action- wonderful for walking around but our rooms ( they were beautiful spacious rooms) were right in the front and it was extremely noisy for sleeping.

The music from the terrace and nearby establishment does not invite to rest and the bathroom is very small and lacks of privacy.

Lo mejor el personal de recepción, tanto Luis como Cristian fueron súper amables y atentos, y muy especialmente Mauricio nos ayudó enormemente con sus recomendaciones y su gestión de nuestro transporte. El hotel era precioso, con una ubicación increíble, y la comida del restaurante, deliciosa.

El horario de terraza se queda un poco corto, y las habitaciones no están tan aisladas/insonorizadas como cabría desear.

Water in the room stopped for short times but it wasn’t terribly disruptive.

From the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcome and cared for. The service was beyond incredible, genuine kindness in every interaction. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed to unwind from our busy day-to-day lives-peaceful, warm, and relaxing. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

De styling van het hotel is prachtig gedaan... van de lobby met zijn vele indrukken, tot de doorloop met de waterpartijen en het fantastisch mooie dakterras met zwembad... ook de food op het dakterras en de cocktails waren heel lekker! En het hotel is super goed gelegen, vlak bij de actie van Getsemani, maar net nog wel buiten de oude omwalde stad.

We kregen bericht van het hotel dat we voor een lage prijs een 'upgrade' konden krijgen... omdat het onze honeymoon was, dachten we, waarom niet... bleek dat de upgrade was dat het bed bovenop de douchecabine was en dat je daar met een gammel trapje naartoe moest klimmen... daardoor had je dus ook geen ruimte en sliep je haast met je gezicht tegen het dak... totaal niet comfortabel... De airco was op of af, niet regelbaar, dus ofwel klappertanden ofwel zweten, maar geen tussenin... verder is er maar 1 klein liftje waardoor je steeds zeer lang moest wachten om dit te kunnen gebruiken, want ook het personeel gebruikt dat ene liftje...

This beautiful hotel was my favourite part of the trip. It’s stunning everywhere you look, the class and attention to detail are incredible, the service is superb. It was a place I felt I could truly relax, unwind and just soak up the beautiful surroundings. Also make sure to enjoy the onsite mini spa! Plus right in the heart of Getsemaní, just as pretty as the walled city with half the tourists and a 10 minute walk to the city. Special thanks to the staff especially Haro, Christian, Luis, Bettania.

Wonderful hotel. Great location in the heart of lively Getsemaní area - lots of great bars and restaurants close by and yet they still manage to create an oasis of calm and tranquility. The hotel has lots of character - interior decor is beautiful, thoughtful and creative. Great restaurant, delicious cocktails and great breakfast and the service from the entire team was outstanding from check-in to checkout - welcoming, friendly and very helpful - particularly the team serving breakfast, Cristian on the front desk who helped us book great tour to the Rosarios islands, and Jailer - and of course Harold who organised our airport transfer, checked us in and immediately made us feel welcome and week looked after - but the whole team were brilliant. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - including those looking for an LGBT friendly place in Cartagena: We are a gay couple and, while there are plenty of LGBT friendly places to stay in the city, we felt positively and enthusiastically welcomed here. Thank you Casa Lola for making our stay in Cartagena so delightful!

Very nice boutique hotel.

Book somewhere else. Certainly not a luxury boutique hotel. At hotel's suggestion we upgraded to a suite, and it was a dump. I have no idea what a basic room would be like. Booked 4 nights left after 1 night. Staff had no idea what "Happy Hour" is; only full price cocktails are offered and there is no sunset view as the surrounding buildings block sunset. Surrounding neighborhood is quite seedy and wasn't sure if we should walk at night. "Included breakfasi" is only some fruit and a small basket of bread. An order of eggs is very expensive at 75,000 pesos while a full breakfast in Medallin is from 8,000 to 10,000 pesos

It was fine, nothing to write about for the price. Hotel Movich was much better.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. They accommodated our request to switch rooms from a lofted bedroom to one with bathroom and bedroom on the same floor. Very lgtbq friendly. Rooftop and pool were lovely!

They need more credit card machines... Esp on the roof so a person doesn't need to be summoned to accept credit card payment. The courtyard plays music until 1am... If that ended earlier it would feel completely like a sanctuary inside Cartagena.
